I'm learning guitar, but I have no intentions of forming/joining a band any time soon. I will eventually, when I have (much) more experience.
  2. What kind of music do you listen to? - Technical Death metal, Melodic Death metal, Symphonic metal, Power metal, Progressive metal, Speed/Shred metal Thrash metal, and some Hard rock. Happy - When I'm happy I usually listen to Symphonic/Power metal, Melodic Death metal, and perhaps some Speed/Shred/Thrash metal. Mad - I'll usually listen to fast-paced Technical or Blackened Death metal, and I'll also listen to Black metal whenever I'm in the mood. Sad - Progressive metal and particular Symphonic metal bands. Bored - Speed/Shred metal, or I'll listen to a mixture of different genres/styles. What bands - Angra, Children of Bodom, Kamelot, Rhapsody of Fire, Freedom Call, Norther, Kalmah, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates, Burzum, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, Cryptopsy, Finntroll, Ensiferum, Morbid Angel, Necrophagist, Opeth, Symphony X, Racer X, In Flames (old material), Stratovarius, The Haunted, Wintersun, Sinergy, Hypocrisy, and many more.
  3. Freedom Call - "Warriors" Their cliche song titles and intros are quite annoying, but other than that they're great.
  4. I'm sick of these "i hav a life i hav a gf 2 prove it" posts. We don't care if you "have a life", and for that matter, most people saying "they have a gf" most likely don't "have a life" by their standards. Stop following these injustified, stereotypical generalisations.
  5. There's no such thing as "luck". The outcome of anything which involves "luck" is sheer coincidence.
  6. Rhapsody of Fire - "Unholy Warcry"
  7. Firewind - "The Fire and the Fury"
  8. Wintersun - "Death and the Healing"
  9. I just installed iTunes a few days ago... Anyway, according to iTunes: 1) Rhapsody of Fire - "Emerald Sword" 2) Children of Bodom - "Red Light in my Eyes Pt. 1" 3) Megadeth - "Hangar 18" 4) Necrophagist - "Seven" 5) Sonata Arctica - "Full Moon" 6) Symphony X - "Sea of Lies" 7) Arch Enemy - "Savage Messiah" 8) At The Gates - "The Beautiful Wound" 9) Cryptopsy - "Dead and Dripping" 10) Iron Maiden - "Running Free (Live)"
  10. List has changed recently (excluding Children of Bodom): 1) Rhapsody of Fire 2) Symphony X 3) Finntroll 4) Megadeth 5) Necrophagist Pitty there's no room for Cryptopsy and Dark Tranquility..
  11. Rhapsody of Fire - "Flames of Revenge"
  12. Sonata Arctica - "Full Moon"
  13. Megadeth - "Five Magics"
  14. Today I purchased the following: Megadeth - Rust In Peace Iron Maiden - Live After Death (enhanced compilation) Pantera - Reinventing Hell - Best of Pantera
  15. Rhapsody of Fire - "Rage of the Winter"
  16. Racer X - "Street Lethal"
  17. Ensiferum - "Guardians of Fate"
  18. Skyfire - "Fragments of Time" - into; Norther - "Blackhearted"
  19. Kalmah - "Swamphell"
  20. Amon Amarth - "Death in Fire"
  21. I'm not sure what most people would classify me as. I generally wear dark clothing and listen to metal, so I'm assuming that I'm considered a "metalhead".
  22. Kamelot - "Karma" Best. Symphonic. Power. Metal. Band. Ever? Seriously, they're amazing.
  23. Wintersun - "Beautiful Death" Very melodic and has a dark, cold feeling to it.
  24. Symphony X - "Damnation Game"
  25. Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" and "Master of Puppets" albums were amazing, and they also have many other great songs from various albums. On the other hand, I think that just about every song by AC/DC is dismal and repetitive. All of their songs sound far too similar. Unquestionably, I'll choose Metallica. Even though Metallica could never be considered "Rock and Roll"...
