~~~~~Three-Word-Story~~~~~ New format.
A long time ago in a past, teachers had giant machines that slaughtered all children. However, now they eat monstrous amounts of cute chickens that are dangerous because they like to. On Sundays, cookies are slowly melted down to save the planet of New Zealand. The planet USA, however, tried to
Jagex is Going to Kill Bounty Hunter.
From a practical point of view, it's not a good idea to completely stop all RWT 100%, since this is greatly detrimental to gameplay and appeal. RWT has been decreased by a massive margin already, so it's really not a serious issue anymore. Gameplay and that 'fun factor' should always rule over stopping stuff like RWT, otherwise you've just got a game which is a fight against people who want to abuse it. You might as well just close down RuneScape if you take that attitude.
Nope it's pretty quiet at the moment. You can always flame someone and give me something to do. ;) That will avert my focus from here for a bit. -2
Problems with computer.
I find it incredibly unlikely that there would be a virus in JaGEx adverts. In fact, can one even get a virus from an advert which has not been clicked on, and has remained idle in the page? Even if you can, RuneScape is aimed at kids, and the last thing they want to do is get their site black listed because it 'contains viruses'. A lot of parents will block a site if it even mentions the word 'virus', and it makes no sense for JaGEx to be lax about which adverts they allow to be displayed.
Anyone Listen To Sum 41?
They're not exactly the cream of musical taste. Not a band I hate, but still.
Photoshop CS4
The newest version of the Creative Suite series from Adobe is out- CS4. I must say, (focusing on Photoshop since this is the most used) the new features look amazing. What's new in PhotoShop CS4? The best ones: Workflow Changes In older versions, the image manipulation was process is mainly selecting a filter/adjustment, fiddling with the settings and applying it. With this new system in CS4, you can grab all the adjustments you want to make and mess around with them, with the overall effect being applied to the image dynamically. This makes it a lot easier to manipulate images in one large step, and non-destructively as well. Share My Screen This is great. You can opt to share your screen view of PhotoShop with up to three other people. Sharing webcam, screen, microphone and whiteboard will be very useful for dealing with clients and liasing with other designers. A very good professional tool. CS4 Extended Version 3D Editing PhotoShop CS4 Extended now offers the ability to edit 3D images "just as easily as they have traditionally been able to work with 2D pictures". PhotoShop CS4 has a new ray-tracing engine which allows lighting, materials and cameras to be edited within the program. This is a huge step for PhotoShop, towards ultimate usability. Enhanced Motion Graphics PhotoShop CS4 Extended now enables the handling of motion-based images. This includes working with non-square pixels, audio that comes with the image, and even able to animate 3D objects and adjust camera positions. Overall, I think the update to CS4 has been the most radical and innovative one yet. The 3D and 'smart' features give PhotoShop the edge over the free image editing programmes like GIMP and Paint.net, which a lot of people have turned to. Of course the previous versions have still offered more usability than the free programmes, but the 3D editing capabilities just put CS4 on a whole different level compared to the other CS versions.
Multiplayer games...most stupid server rules
My friend killed someone on COD4 who had a swearword in their name. It came up as 'x killed y', and he got banned from the server for swearing. Apparently the mods/admins (or whatever they have there) will frequently ban someone for killing them. Doubt it's that bad but I do think it actually happens.
Blizzard Awarded $6 million in Glider suit
If you talk about morals, there are gold farmers who are controlled by poor chinese people who can't get any other work. If you stop their ability to do that in popular games, you stop their ability to work and earn money. Not that I'm pro-gold farmer. I'm just playing devil's advocate here.
Swearing is against the rules if it is serious and is targeted against a user. That's why we allow the use of 'crap' or other minor swear words when someone posts a general comment. I personally wouldn't remove something like this, I've seen other videos posted with swearing it them. If it was major swearage then I would, but I feel my video isn't exactly high on the scale, and there are like 2 swear words in there, which I don't believe are that bad, and emphasize the point. If someone does find it offensive then I'll gladly remove it.
If you used photoshop to animate it, then just resize each frame down by like 30%, there probably won't be any noticable difference.
Newspapers/Media- Anyone have a favorite?
[hide=warning]Hq5_joo5l5I [/hide] I think that sums up the British press pretty accurately. I hate The Sun so much, it's just a joke of a paper. I went into a newsagent's once, and picked up The Daily Telegraph. At the same time some big burly builder was grabbing a copy of The Sun. My god he gave me an evil look. I could tell he was thinking how much of a snob I was with my education and middle class background. It was ok though because I was thinking, 'yeah, my house has three toilets and my dad drives a beamer'.
Unfortunately you won't get any results using the forum's search function either. Due to the rollback, it won't find anything posted before that. It only finds stuff made after the rollback. I remember them vaguely, was a good read. :)
