I was thinking more along the lines of blocking them. Toad isnt the best counter you know.... Lucas's is way better as it heals me, and atleast Pit's reflects them. Levetate/perfect shield.

I don't mind spamming. Usually, I love it as there is only a certain skill level you can obtain from spamming. Pikachu also has good airs, (never see you shnair/shdair) qac, combos, spacing, chaingrabs, ect. Just try it, it works.

Don't forget to plant Ranarrs. Also, grow snaps till 99, forget lants. Pineapples + willows are the cheap way to go. I would personally go with maples, papayas, ranarrs while making cash if you have a budget.
