Weekly Poll: What do you wear?
A combination of both style and function. Usually random event/non tradeable things that don't weigh much. Not much you can do in f2p...
-
Are these stats suitable for mid-crater bhing.
Hp will be around 84 w/o any hp raising mage spells, and I dunno how to calc hp raising. So I would say anywhere from 85 to what you said. And yes it should be good for bhing. Although rune pures might give you a challenge. EDIT: Oh I forgot... f2p or p2p?

Low Level *F2P* PVP, Few Questions
1) 10 attack, 50 str. It allows you to range/2h if you ever are interested. Also a lot easier to train. 2) Meh, I've never found 10 def to be an advantage. People can still hit you pretty well. 3) If you mean levels? Then yes. I have a pure around the same level (not really playing it) and it can pk in so many ways. 4) No, unless its an arranged fight. Pretty much no other pures bring *25k* when they know they can be 3 hit.

Lvl 40 Pest Control?
I would say the average game would last around 2.25-3 mins for lower level boat (and the only one I have had experience with :P). This is taking into account the extremely slow games when nobody seems to know how to attack a portal... But nothing else has changed much other than what zackdt said.

K0
I think its right when the arrow flies. I'm not 100% sure though, since I've had my laggy internet for a while and my range/2hing is a bit dusty.

Magic Training curse
Yes, it is possible. Just wear the armor you have with the most negative attack boost for mage, then go and cast it on a monster (zammy monk is often used, because even if you're successful at casting it, it should recover fast). It should splash most of the time, and it still gives the same xp as if it was cast successfully. (29xp) But this is also fairly slow and requires a lot of clicking. Maybe try high alching or superheat?

f2p pures - what are ther pros and cons?
Range/2h 1)pros- High hp, nice ko ability, can get hp down easily, good against def and pures 2)cons- Sometimes str pures of the same level can get some lucky hits on you 3)most effective in bh or pvp or duelling arena?- pvp and bh 4)ideal levels?- Do you mean combat stats? if so... For a start range/2h.. attack-40 str-70 range-70 mage-any level def- 1 pray- 1 Expand on str and range (and prayer somewhat), and once you get to the point where you can't seem to hit at all with 2h, start to get attack. Get 40-45 def maybe. 5)end result combat lvls?- 50-70ish if pure, 80-high 90's if rune pure 6)any guides or youtube vid guides on how to make?- if you search training for range and str for pures you probably will find some. 7)money needed for them- 200k-500k is a good starting amount. 500k-1m once you get into serious pking. 8)money lost if you die whilst using them?- 70k if you have no prayer, 20k if you do (this is if you're only bringing 2h). 9)any additional info is much appreciated- make sure to keep practicing the range/2h combo on monsters/duel arena. Mage pures 1)pros- High hitting at lower levels, can hit very easily through armor 2)cons- Only good to around 40 combat, lots of people just eat a lot when you fight them 3)most effective in bh or pvp or duelling arena? pvp at lower levels, maybe duel arena 4)ideal levels?- The highest mage you can get at 20-30 combat. The hp that comes with combat spells you trained to get that mage Everything else 1 5)end result combat levels?- around 40 combat 6)any guides or youtube vid guides on how to make?- I don't think so, but training mage with combat spells is pretty self explanatory 7)money needed for them- 500k +/- for both pking and training 8)money lost if you die whilst using them? Depends on how many runes you're brining, but anywhere from 10k-50k 9)These are good pures to start out with. Once you get higher combat levels, you can easily change this pure into another pure. Rune pures (I'll talk about both lower levels and higher levels, although I'm assuming you want lower levels) 1)pros- Don't get hit easily at lower combats, are great at higher levels (except you get hit more often). 2)cons- At lower levels they are sort of boring, you risk more than it is worth at lower levels. 3)most effective in bh or pvp or duelling arena?- I have found them to be good at all 3. 4)ideal levels?- Lower level- attack-40 str-50+ def-40 prayer-whatever you want mage-whatever you want, although higher would be an advantage since you have low mage def range- 60+ Just keep getting str, range, and attack up until this next level set-up Higher level- Attack- 70+ str- 99 def- 40/45 prayer- 44 mage- whatever you want range- 99 This is an ideal no-armor at bh. Also does well at pvp. You can train up attack if you want 5) End result combat levels?- Lowest is at around 52, highest is around 105ish 6)any guides or youtube vid guides on how to make?- just may have to search again 7)money needed for them- 500k for starters, and then more for rune sets once you start to pk 8)money lost if you die whilst using them?- ~200k 9)A rune pure is much better at higher levels, so if you're just wanting a fun side account that you don't train much, I wouldn't recommend this. Oh yes, almost forgot about 10 and 11. Dueling/staking is kind of pointless (especially in f2p), but most pures will do well at it. Just do no-arm/no food/no prayer and you should be fine.

Are you "Hopper" or "Crasher"?
I'll usually hop, unless I was there first. But I don't train combat or skills with crowded areas much since I got satellite internet so...

Would 43 prayer be wise at my level? *Pure*
Get the most you can through quests, then get it to 43/44/52/however high you want it to be. But it also sort of depends on how high of combat you want your pure to be eventually. 50's - no. 60's - your choice. 70's - yes please. 80+ - o.o *but these are just my suggestions, do as you like*

Advice to noob :)
With other skills, it all depends on what you're doing (noncombat that is). The rs manual (on the homepage, its under the game guide button on the top) has all of the xp listings for the skills, which should help you out a lot.

Baxe vs 2H (f2p)
Its fun on a pure though :D. I'm guessing you haven't tried it on one yet. Although on mains 70+ its usually just blegh. Full rune doesn't make it fun.
-
F2P mage pker. 10 Def for fog gear or not?
I would not be for it. If you decide to make that pker something else after you get out of the "mage owning" combat lvl, you will be sort of screwed. Both a rune scim and range can tear through that 10 def at higher levels (and by higher levels I don't mean 60+, I mean 40+).
-
Baxe vs 2H (f2p)
Well since it looks like you 1 item, I would say b axe. But of course a faster weapon would be better. I've tried 1 iteming on my pure with a 2h and it didn't work so well. They have so much time to eat/run away between hits.

Total play time...
I would guess around 3000-4000 total hours. Been playing for ~2.75 years and an average of 3-4 hours a day (this is taking into account all of my accounts). I would like to see the time played on all of my accounts though. It would show how much time I spent on failed pures .

#6 = 99 Parry Hotter (finaly!) no internet crash this time!
Woohoo, go crashing internets! But how much xp/hour is iron bars? I may have to try that sometime :D.
-
My internets got it on...
There wasn't a delay in clicking and the character moving like my new one, but it would sometimes go out/lag for no reason. The new one though has a 2-3 second delay with each action. Needless to say I can't go pking anymore except on my 1 itemer :/. *BTW: Old connection was bad because of a treeline that is right where the connection needs to go*.

My internets got it on...
And made a bad internets. So here is my situation. I have 2 internet connections. One has fast loading speeds, but it is not reliable and has bad download speeds. This was the only internet we had, until my dad decided he decided to get a new internet connection. This internet connection has delayed loading speeds, but way faster download speeds and more reliable (this is a satellite connection btw). Now to my problem. We recently moved offices (so now the computer is closer to the router), so we had to unplug everything and move stuff around. Once we got everything settled, we turned the router/modem back on and the computers back on. The internet wasn't being its usual self :ohnoes:. So we unplugged the old internet and kept the new internet back on. The new connection was acting like the old connection. So I tried playing rs with it (my usual test to try out the connection) and it was still having a delayed reaction. Also youtube was being extremely slow, like with my old connection. And I can't multitask without everything not loading, like my old connection. After 3 days of it being like this it still has not resolved itself. My question is: Is my connection problem something I can solve myself? Or is it something I'd have to talk with my service provider about. Thanks.

buying a new mp3
I would go with the zen x-fi. I currently have the "zen" and its working fine for me. I have also had the zen v before. I have had 2 problems with each of them though. Zen -It gets the "white screen on hold" syndrome, but its better than the white screen of death on some people's. -The sound gets delayed whenever I convert videos. Zen v -The battery life was pretty bad on mine. -Freezes every few months (one of the freezes caused it to die, which lead me to get the zen). This one kicked [beep] though. It has survived multiple mower experiences and drops. And my sister has had hers for... 3 years maybe? And no problems except for 1 freeze up. But too bad you weren't getting one over the weekend. You could have gotten a 16 gig for $130 straight from the company. 16/32 also has wi-fi I think.

Help...In General?
I have always found clan wars to be fun if I get bored with regular playing. Also rev hunting (although you don't get drops) can be fun also. *Note: both of these ways don't make money/make you lose money. If you want to make money, lsing cockroaches can be fun also.*

Grades, GPA's; How do you do in School?
Last quarter I had a 4.0, right now I'm getting a 3.666. B+ in choir because my teacher is a [beep] half the time and B in biology because I missed so much stuff for choir. Yeah, considering taking private lessons and not taking choir next year.

switching from invintory to combat?
I'm guessing they used the keyboard to switch screens. You use f4 to go to inventory screen and f1 to go to combat screen.

My 1st 99 (and what some people would consider the easiest)
Here it is... [hide=Level up] [/hide] 86-94 swordies 94-95 anchovy pizzas (didn't lose money this way) 95-99 swordies I enjoyed this skill a lot more than I thought I would. Easy to multitask and good xp at the same time. I don't get the hot untrimmed cape, but I guess if I wanted it I'd have to pay for members on this account too. Bleh. My future plans are to: 1) Get 60,60,60 melee on my nub account. 2) Get members for a month starting on December 7th/8th on that account (hopefully). 3) Keep skilling/killing on main after that. But I still haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. Probably first on my list though is to round off some of my stats. Oh yeah, rate I guess. *Goes to sleep now so I can wake up in the morning*

74 wc :P and 1 more notch on my f2p belt of lvls
Do you have a blog? If you don't, I would recommend making one. (You just posted a thread 2 days ago) 5/10, pretty average level. Keep working on it though, wc is teh hawt.
