I agree. I think the questions would have been better if they were some kind of situation you could find yourself in and then reactions. That would be better at determining how optimistic you were. For example: You didn't get the score you were expected to get in an exam, do you... a) Freak out and constantly remind yourself of how you failed B) Realise where you went wrong and try and improve c) Say it's only one test and there's no need to worry Oh yeah, I got middle of the road.
