They actually stated previously (during live streams) that they would look at adding 85 and MAYBE... 80 at a later date. (so we will see) But honestly at the prices those dyes are going to be for a while I don't think it would be worth using them on level 85/80 gear. (just my 2 cents)

I think with high agility they should be on par with T85. I think that would be fair.

You have got to be kidding me. I just swapped all my BXP yesterday and now we find out about this today... This is crazy, they have never done this before.... Two things are about to happen. 1) many people are going to rage when they see this 2) JAGEX is going to take it down and say they didn't mean to say it in the first place and we will be back to no BXP on BXP weekend.

I am by far the most excited for the Reword to Familiars. I am going to love finally being able to feel like using a Combat Familiar actually does some good. I have used them from time to time before, but always had to micromanage them so much it didn't feel worth the effort on Slayer Tasks. Now I'll be bringing one on all my tasks :-) I'm also excited for a repeatable quest, I hope this is just the start of more repeatable adventures.

It then boils down whether he has a team to do Barb Assault or not and if he is skilled enough to do it. In essence, what I am trying to point out is that there are a lot of variables as for something the be -the best option-. Well I don't have a team and haven't done Barb Assault since back when it came out to get items then. Agility BXP however is not an issue since I have over 2.5m of it. I think I may actually go with Runecrafting after giving it more thought. I actually prefer Divination training to Runespan so I think it is the right choice. The rest of my skills are pretty easy to train and require minimal input. Here is my current plan, based on this let me know if you think I should put the BXP into something else. Dung: Sinkhole and dung more (my least favorite skill, can you tell?) (some woodcutting and fishing xp may be gained here as well) Fishing: Most likely barb, maybe I'll look at Rocktail, but I think I'll just do Barb to get it over with especially since you can use the ability bar to drop now. Thieving: I want to do some more PP for the pieces of the outfit I'm missing 2-3 more I think I need. Then either dwarven traders or elves depending on how I feel Agility: well I guess I'll be doing courses with my 2.5m BXP ;-) Divination: just keep doing the best I can while most likely purchasing energy which I need along the way. Will use muspah familiar Runecrafting: Runespan Woodcutting: Ivy til Crystal trees, at least this is my current plan. May do some arctic pine instead of Ivy, all depends how I'm feeling that day. (this is also what I do for capping at cit, but xp is bad....) Hunter: I'm doing Divine Box Traps daily (resetting with vis wax too, it is about 50k / day) Farming: I'm using my JOTS xp on this daily (2x per day with vis wax, it is about 60k / day, but will increase as I go up) Construction: I have all the teak planks I need for 99 construction for the BXP weekend coming up. Mining: Seren Stones (this is what I'm currently working on) Smithing: Use the corrupt ore from 99 mining Slayer: Do some slayer, I love that skill. I had always assumed it did. I've been mining there since the elf city release working on 99 mining. I would love if someone can confirm if it makes a difference so I can not worry about him anymore.

Sorry I meant to say I would get stars not lamps. I think it is more worth it to get stars. and I am good on agility with 2,566k bxp in agility currently.

I actually have 99 Construction banked for the BXP weekend, I forgot to mention that. Maybe I'll do Div. I never considered Runecrafting since Runespan is so fast. I really need to get into Barb Assault again, I did it a lot back in the days when it originally came out. (what skills does it give BXP in?) I have traded in all my extra bonus xp and can buy a few large stars and would like some advice as to what skill to put that bonus xp into. I already have all the bonus xp i need for 99 agility. so I'm looking for the next skill out of my none 99 ones. Here are the skills I do not yet have 99 in. Thanks in advance for the advice. [edit] in case your curious the current skill I'm training is Mining which I just got 96 in today and should be 99 in another 1-2 weeks at this rate. I love these Seren Stones. The ores from the Seren Stones will also get me 99 Smithing without Bonus XP so that skill for the BXP is out as well. [edit]

I Won all the lamps. Nothing More... Spent all tickets on Silverhawks and then since I didn't get them I now have them from the BXP trade-in. Sure wish I would have known that was coming. I wouldn't have used all my tickets on them...

Bonefire update was the best thing to ever happen to Firemaking. :-)

During the promo it was only allowed to trade the same pieces for eachother. i.e. head for head, legs for legs, etc. And to answer the first questions 1. you do need all of the same color. 2. Silverhawk Feathers should be sold at this point, they are going crazy high with all the new pairs of uncharged boots going into the game (this is of course my opinion and you should use the above calc to check your XP gains) As a sidenote to Silverhawk Feathers: I'm really hoping they add an in game way to obtain these, or make the boots more useful when uncharged. Perhaps it could act as the skilling outfits do for others but in one item, so they could give +5% xp in agility?

So... I was able to finally get my Silverhawks from the BXP trade-in. But I sure wish I knew that was coming since I wouldn't have wasted every single ticket I got this month on not getting them... I'm very sad inside right now.

So let me get this straight...for your first skill outfit piece, you need 200 points at the discount cost plus 50 more at regular cost. That's 300*1.5K = 450K bonus xp in (most) skills. The pieces give 1% extra xp. So you need to earn 45 million xp (!!) to earn back what you spent on that piece (that is, 1% of 45M from wearing that piece = 450K). For subsequent pieces, you would need to earn 75 million xp to pay them off. ...Did I make a mistake? Are you trying to add logic to Runescape updates again?

It is a tough call to if it is worth getting UNCHARGED Silverhawks for 500 Points. But I did it. I have been wanting them forever and I actually have been sitting on a bunch of feathers. Now I still have the choice of using the feathers for a skill I have all the bxp I need to get to 99 in already or sell them. I have so much BXP (over 2.5Mil) in Agility I can get 550 points just from that.... LOL I welcome your thoughts in helping me make this decision. Also I have about 280 more points from BXP I turned in. What else to get... I have all skilling outfits except Farming and I have Sapphire Golem, and wont have enough points to get all the pieces for the full thing. I'm thinking about just getting more BXP for a skill of my choosing and perhaps tokens with the remainder.

I really hate that they halved all the prize amounts. I haven't gotten anything all month.... :-( I guess I used all my luck last year getting a black santa...
