  1. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea honestly. Come to think of it I would actually prefer it. :shades: But it would kill the Adze and Imcando at that point. even with their effects. (which honestly I couldn't care less and I just made my Imcando 2 weeks ago)
  2. Why would you want tools which are level 71 to degrade? They don't have any special properties, they would just be normal tools which a higher chance of success. I could see if they had special properties, but I don't think anyone is asking for that. And I for one really want them to be able to be added to my toolbelt. and if they degraded or had special properties they wouldn't allow us to do that.A constant upkeep on your crystal tool would allow for replayable content. would also keep dragon viable for those who don't want to manage the upkeep (plus all other crystal gear degrades) I believe crystal chimes do not. And if looking at tools the only tool we have (at present) is the saw which gives a +3 bonus. So it makes sense there is some downside I will think 28 uses is a bit too extreme, but that is for another discussion. But these will not give any such bonus so I don't think this applies. And I know it keeps getting mentioned, but why do we need to keep dragon viable or valuable it is level 61! I'm almost 90 woodcutting and mining, why should I still be using level 61 equipment? If you want to keep dragon viable for longer lets talk about making crystal hatchet and pick level 81 instead of 71. Then it will be viable for a full 20 levels of training.

  5. I would not have a problem with upgrading dragon to crystal if we didn't already need to use a dragon pickaxe for the imcando. Either way it would be better to not have to upgrade dragon to crystal.... I hope they are just released with a machanic which is non combat related. Who cares if the dragon hatchets and or pickaxe drop in price. I think the dragon pick will remain high due to the imcando and the hatchet already had a replacement in the adze and it has maintained some value.
  6. Personally I think the asset reuse in this quest was handled much better than they did it for Ooak. Yes it its perhaps noticeable it is based off the same map as Frenskae if you look at the maps side-by-side or have recently played that content, but overall its not an overwhelming sense of this is a copy it just feels a little similar. Plus unlike in Ooak it isn't just a straight up copy, they have used the same base for the map, but it has been modified - the paths and areas are not 100% identical and it has been entirely retextured. If this is how they reuse assets in the future to allow for quicker dev to a higher quality I would not mind at all; much better than straight up un-altered clones and if they had released this content a bit further away from Freneskae's launch it probably wouldn't even feel that similar until you saw the maps. Yeah, I had no idea until that reddit post pointed it out, and honestly I'm fine with it. Doesn't bother me a bit. One question: What's Ooak? I'm cool with it too. OoaK = One of a Kind.

  9. Sounds like I've been doing it right then. I had hear it was only the body, legs and shield. So I'm glad that info was correct. Too bad there isn't any hard data on the penalties... Thanks for the info! :-D
  10. I don't know the penalties and can't find information about this. Can someone tell me about how they work or give me a link to the information so I can read up on it? I have always used armor that matches my attach style because I knew this was the case, but it would be good to know how the penalties are calculated.
  11. I completely agree this Legacy crap is a huge waste of time. But what I don't get is why does everyone keep saying they can't fight a spider boss.... I mean come on! it isn't a real spider you need to kill with your bare-hands in real life.... What do you all do when you see a real spider, cry?
  12. I'm really happy we are getting a Bandos related quest so soon. I was one of the few who fought on the Bandos side, and when we lost I was worried it would be a while before we saw anything come of it. But I guess losing has it perks in that we get the first quest from a God Battle.

  17. I put my amulet on and rubed it and it gave me 3 prismatic crystals which each granted me bonus xp. The examine on the amulet is "A crystal amulet from the elf city. it gives daily rewards and a chance of rare items when worn." Anyone have any more info? I'm not really seeing anything on the forums here about it.
  18. Sorry for not replying sooner. I think Bandits would be 60-100k/hr with revolution. But this is only a guess, there may be information elsewhere. I personally don't know anything to do for AFK range, but I guess if you like bandits you could range them with dart/knives and an ava on with the same above equipment. It really depends on how AFK you want it. Bandos are truly AFK and you could honestly walk away and not do anything while killing them. you just need to interact with the game every so often to not get auto-logged. Keep in mind there are other training methods for all combat styles ranging from 200-400k/hr depending on your level and access to certain areas. But these aren't really AFK, but they are easy normally.
  19. Any chance this thieving will be left click to pickpocket? If so, it sounds pretty nice to me! I'm also very interested in knowing what level the improved crystal weapons they mentioned will be. But so far I'm loving what I'm seeing in these design documents!
  20. I know it isn't all that great, but Bandits are 100% AFK if you have a demon horn necklace and bone crusher with soul split. It is not that great of xp, but if you have a sara arrow in your ammo slot they will keep you busy for hours with no risk.
  21. I agree with just about everything above. We couldn't possibly allow everything to stack. But what I would totally support would be an increase to the backpack size. I know we have BoBs (I use my yak all the time), but the standard backpack does seem to be a little small at times and at 28 spaces the total number of spaces has always seemed like an odd number.
  22. Where was this information? A drygore version of two handed weapon would seem interesting. When the combat boss won over the skilling boss they said in the podcast the new boss would drop level 90 2h weapons. Not sure if it was anywhere else.
