  1. What are the best options for overriding my Drygore Maces?
  2. I just wear mine all the time while doing everything. That is the best way. Just never take off the necklace. Also don't forget to rub the necklace each day for your free bonus XP.
  3. Anyone else thing that Antifire Overload giving 10 minutes of Fire Immunity is a typo and should have been 6? It doesn't make any sense for this to be higher than the normal Super Antifire. Also for the Renewal Overload there is no such thing as Super Renewal... Way to proof-read... It would be nice if some of the higher end potions would reapply every 15 seconds like the Overload. And it seems odd to have the Berserk Potion, but not a Magic or Range one which combines the effects with an Extreme Magic or Range with Extreme Defense. But the potions I most wanted to see are there, so that is what matters most :-P Renewal Antifire, Antifire Overload, Renewal Overload.
  4. No, they need that for new players who haven't gotten to Prifddinas yet. Also they will need somewhere to add all the new content for the Max and Comp players they will have within a year of the Prifddinas release. But truth be told I don't have much of an issue with the work they are doing here. I like what I'm seeing. It is going to be pretty crazy having so much good content in one place. But that doesn't change the fact that it is good and exciting content.
  5. I'm happy to see you were able to get 92 Prayer. It is an amazing thing. I'm surprised even with Airut bones it was so much. Did you use the Enlightenment Aura for two hours of double XP?
  6. Here is an app which allows you to size a window to a preset size. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but it may work for you. http://www.brianapps.net/sizer/
  7. They are talking about making spells consume ammo when using abilities, not about altering the rune costs of the spells themselves. But anyway as pointed out above blood runes ARE useful as ancient mage still uses them. Shanty passes are however worthless, as you can pass for free now. Also dragonhides still give the best protection from magic attacks, as ranged is strong to magic, but weak to melee - however you cannot melee in it as mismatching body/legs/shield class with your weapon class nerfs accuracy heavily. Sorry when I said all casting. I meant when using abilities. Thanks for the clarification I guess I wasn't very clear in my explanation.
  8. I am not very good at Dungeoneering myself, so I don't want to speak to that. but here is the Revolution page on the Wikia which contains the best bar setups for use with revolution. I honestly just follow these, not sure if they work F2P, but I hope this helps. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Revolution
  9. Oh, Where to start where to start.... Lets get the Money making out of the way. Every time someone asks about money making I just give them this link: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Making_money You may have to look down the list a little ways to find something that suits your levels, but it really is a good list. (may not be the best, but it is the best I know of) Now onto the other items. PvM I would need to better understand what you mean here. Do you want to do bosses? If so you will need higher prayer and possibly summoning to do the top tier bosses. Might even need higher herblore as well for top end potions. If you are referring to things like slayer or other lower tier monsters then using Bandos, Armadyl, or Subjugation will suffice. If you have the money you can get some Nex gear as well. For weapons you will want to try and get something tier 90, melee is the cheapest by far followed by range and then magic. But for many this is still out of reach. The next best thing is Chaotics I see you have a dungeoneering level of 1, so you wont have any of those as you need level 80 to be able to afford your first. Next up after this is Godswords I believe. They are pretty cheap now, so I would look at those until you can get something better (elf city maybe?) Something else you should really look at is Player Owned Ports. This will allow you to get level 85 tank armor for basically free. Of course you will need to train some of your levels up, but it would be worth thinking about and planning for. It may influence what you want to get up first. As for training I don't have much to offer here other than you way really want to look at Dungeoneering for the above mentioned Chaotics. Since they will most likely be the best weapons you can afford it is worth leveling. I hope this helps you on your way and welcome back! Most people have been in the same boat as you many times, myself included. We all seem to come and go, so don't worry about posting these types of questions. There is always someone willing to answer and help out. Feel free to add me in game if you want to message me. If I'm online and you have any questions or want to chat I'll help where I can. (or look it up on the wikia and take credit for my never-ending knowledge)
  10. They are talking about runes being used for all casting of spells now, so I would hang on to any missiles runes (mind, chaos, death, blood) that you may have until we know more about what will happen to make runes more valuable.
  11. Congrats! and good luck on your future training of both the skills. They are very expensive, but both are very very useful.
  12. Just finished listening to the podcast and I'm happy to hear they are reviewing the idea of adding Crystal Pickaxes and Hatchets. While it didn't sound too promising it is a start.
  13. Yes. My calculation was with a guilded with both burners. I didn't calculate any extra bonus from outfits or aura. So if you have them it will save you even more money.
  14. why couldve been ins 900m :') Sorry, but I don't understand the significance of this image... Just because the sale completed doesn't mean that it sold at the chosen price. I sell things all the time at 1 gp and almost always I get more (sometimes multiple times the item's GE value). There's absolutely no evidence that the wand sold for anywhere near that price. So either I'm missing something obvious or there exists a severe misunderstanding of how the GE works. (?) You are right it would have given them more money. But the point of the image is "Panic Sell Wand!" which is always a joke when any update comes out. (Unless I'm missing something too, in which case please enlighten me)
  15. I don't know for sure, but I would recommend a Beast of Burden. If you wan untrimmed you may not want the XP that a combat familiar may generate. But I cannot say for sure. But either way Beasts of Burden are great for the extra inventory space.
  16. A speed cap on lower tiers is not a bad idea. I could totally get behind this.
  17. There you go, do Prayer with cash and Herblore for free later :-)
  18. I don't know if you are in the overwhelming minority here as the "I love them" option is hast the second most votes. I personally don't read many of the books, I'm really not sure why as I do actually love the lure and read all dialog and try to follow the story lines, but it is something about the books I just don't read.... However I did pick the "I love them" option (even though, collect, not read describes me more) because I want to support the books and the lure because may someday I will go back and read these books. They are after all in my bookshelf in my house right? I could grab up a few and sit down by the fire in my house and read away for a while. My actual issue with the lore is I completed so many of the quests years and years ago that I honestly just don't remember much of the content. If anyone here has a place I could go to maybe read up on the storyline, to help bring me up to speed of some of the happenings of the world I would appreciate it. I know the more recent stuff, but for example I don't remember anything with west ardy or the elves as I completed those quests forever ago. But would be interested in reading up on the lore around it so I can remember for the new elf city. I don't know if I am the average player, but maybe this will help shed a little light on what some other players may be thinking when they don't read the lore.
  19. http://rsplayers.wikia.com/wiki/The_Old_Nite This is actually right where I went when he told me above, but thank you. I'm actually surprise I've never heard of him... Thank you for this! I knew I didn't cash in those recharge gems yet for some reason! :shades:
  20. I did the quick math on Prayer training and if my math is right it would be close to 50mil to get 92 Prayer. So that is only half of your total and the other half can go towards getting you started on the road to a nice high herblore level.
  21. I would go with Prayer if picking just one. But with the 2hr of double XP aura out right now you should be able to cut your cost by close to half even with pricing being high right now because of it. And you may have enough to get both to the levels you want (I would do the math for you if I had time right now). I would start with prayer and get that to 92 and then go for Herb as high as you can get it with the money you want to spend. Since you only have one weekend you will only get one 2 hour block of double XP, but this will still help greatly. Just be sure to use the quickest method you can afford while it is active and use the quick inventory switches to ensure you spend as little time banking as possible. For Prayer training I find it faster to use my own house than someone else's or even invite people to my house (anti-social what can I say). Also make sure you use the best beast of burden you have to keep the training as fast as possible. I don't have any tips for Herb specially, but I just got 99 last weekend and quick inventories are amazing, that's about all I can say. :-) Enjoy your training and I wish you all the best!
  22. Do you have super anti fire? If not you need to use a DFS and normal anti fire or else the fire damage will be what kills you. @dragen_bhev: He doesn't have the levels for Drygores, but he does for Chaotics. I'm guessing he doesn't have one however. (if you do use this) Make sure you use the best melee weapon you have if you want to try melee. A Vine Whip or Korasi's Sword are going to be your best bets at your level and are both better than a normal Whip. Also it may be better to use Barrows armor as they have higher HP and Defense than Bandos at the expense of the damage, but it may be worth it for you if you can't survive. I hope this helps.
  23. Can someone explain this to me or point me to something about this? I've played since 2001, but since I've never followed a lot of the lure that closely I don't get it ...
  24. Dragon would still be an option just like rune is still an option now for those who cannot get Dragon for any reason. And for those who cannot get Crystal, Dragon will still be there. And by "bonus" I had meant extra effect or some extra stats beyond being best in slot. And we can't expect Crystal to be best in slot forever either.
