So two questions: 1) Did the quest add any more to the story, or is it just a quest made for the sake of the puzzle the same way Nomad's Requiem was a quest for the sake of the fight? 2) Is there any other doors or something to indicate another new quest in this chain?

well they did say it was the conclusion of the series... But anything could happen i guess, just not any time soon (so maybe in 5 years?) It's about as likely as another sequel to Chosen Commander since technically we stopped Bandos from interfering, we didn't really defeat/kill/stop him in any meaningful way.

But are we "allowed" to view the pictures ourself? If anyone would care to tell me how it's done, it would be appreciated. Id like to help but i cant tell you that they post videos of this on youtube. Also that to find it just type runescape cache on youtube search bar. I would like to help, but i cant. sorry Damn, now I'll never be able to find them.

do you perhaps mean liberal [compared to my own political views] slant in a liberal [compared to my own political views] slant country? The only reason environmentalism is associated with the left is because the right has been in bed with big corporations that care about nothing but their own profits for so long. Jagex has said absolutely nothing about the redistribution of wealth or the worker's revolution or anything else that you seem to be afraid of. Your only argument that they are liberal is that they took a stand against air pollution. I mean to imply that they are a liberally slanted company in a liberally slanted country. Yes, the right has been in bed with them for a long time, altering tax codes, interfering with regulations, and overall screwing things up. The left has meanwhile done what they can to destroy small business and individual freedom as it relates to business. I'm never implied that Jagex was Communists, but they do lean to the left. Thank god I'm not a liberal or a conservative (nor part of the assanine tea party movement crap). I'm a Libertarian. Anyway, back to the quest. Fairy Tale pt. 3 - Teeth are [developmentally delayed]ed. Most gaming companies tend to be more liberal then conservative Just because programmers typically tend to be young adults who live in urban areas (stereotypically thats the biggest demographic for liberals) Runescape does slant to the left but does it matter? In the world of Runescape if Jagex says that global warming caused GWD to be reopened then it actually happened. They can make their own laws of physics, their own history, and their own social commentary. Why? because its their world that they created. When i say most games, i do mean that. Most MMO's will portray the main organized religion to be corrupt. Saradominists not so holy and righteous as they are made out to be, another game portrays a religious organization called the Scarlet Crusade to be a corrupt evil religious organization (that is set up similar to the catholic church), in fact that theme is almost universal to MMO's that have any sort of religion displayed in them. Most games do have a slight - but obvious - slant to the left. But i still fail to see the problem with this as it is THEIR world to create, and if players were seriously offended by this then they would boycott their game until they change this. But you dont see too many players refusing to play because of the developers political points of views do you? If so not nearly enough to make an impact on the industry. If that's the case then everyone with a Godsword, Z Spear, or SS should get on their knees and be thankful for global warming. Also, game developers are all poteheads too. I saw it in a movie called "Grandma's Boy."

Quoted for Truth! Summoning requires a lot of money to do, you just don't lose it. You still have to have a hefty amount of cash to get the ball rolling.

I'm a Madam, not a sir. Communists did take over a well meaning, but disorganized political movement and have used it to achieve their own ends. When people talk about global climate change, they very often then speak about a topic on which they have a left-wing viewpoint. Al Gore is a harmless pest who lost an election. Frankly, he's more annoying than anything.
-
I didn't say it was all in quests. It is pretty spread out amongst the game in small ways. And because after the fall of Soviet Russia the Communists didn't just disppear or give up, they hijaked the existing envriomental movement anmd have been using it as a guise to achieve their own intentions. Typically when you hear people talking about the environment, it comes from the left. I mean, very, very often from the left. If someone starts talking about saving the environment what invariably comes next is them talking about equalized distribution of wealth and those "evil corporations." <_< By tghe by, I'm not claiming that Jagex is run by Communists. I'm simply saying they are a company with a liberal slant in a liberal slant country. I'd just wish they'd keep it out of the game.

The Degradation of PK Videos & Amore
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Rose_2_Pure's topic in General Discussion
It's probably because PK videos were rather boring and repetitive. Nothing creative or all the entertaining about watching people fighting all the time. No story, plot, narrative, central theme, anything to keep you hooked. Now, people have moved on to something a little more storyish and a little less, punchy-kicky. -

i know they said that, but im not believing it for one bit, sir. Me neither. Just because they say so, doesn't mean it is true. Also, they're developing that game since 2006 with zero income and alot of expenses. Generous investors... While this is true the problem lies with the oppertunity cost of hiring the Steller Dawn team. It still costs the Jagex company as a whole to have a seperate development team working on the seperate game, whereas if those that are working on it wern't then there would be more people in the RS development team to work on the Runescape Projects. This is true. As the people working on Stellar Dawn are funded by the income generated by Runescape, resources are being diverted that would have otherwise gone into Runescape. People always say that they are extra people hired to do other stuff, but since their work at present generates no income and the majority of said income comes from RS, then obviously Runescape is not receiving all the benefits that it creates. If they put that money that Runescape generates, then reinvests those resources back into the game that created the ability for their existence, then we could have a better overall game. Let's face it, doing other games comes at the expense of the development of Runescape and these days, it clearly shows. [/hide]Game Companies developing more than one game - how uncommon... Yes, but the argument that developing another game doesn't take resources that would otherwise go to Runescape is illogical at best. -
No, but the point is what does green and green thinking and all that crap have anything to do with a computer game supposedly met in Medieval times? Or are we talking about the Medieval global warming trend that most climate change people love to ignore? Especially considering that at the time the quest was produced the game was clearly intended for younger audiences. I'm saying in a game like this, they should keep that crap out of it. Another example, coal. "Hmm, a nonrenewable energy source." Yeah, that makes sense, except that in Runescape it actually definitivelyu renewable by the fact that it respawns every 30 seconds to a minute, so how dumb is that? Once again, them trying to put their agenda across in a place where it doesn't belong.

You honestly can't do anything with the forums due to two seperate, but equally damning things. 1) The maturity level is too low 2) The size of the forums is too high And Liz, I don't think of it as "the man." i just try to avoid subjugating myself to the whims of the majority, and as is the case with Runescape, the rather stupid majority. -
It would help your case to elaborate rather than just proclaim that "R00NSCAPE QUESTS R LIBERAL." You're incredibly paranoid if you think that Jagex is trying to brainwash you into siding with a political party. The quest's plot involved air pollution and global warming caused by players burning millions of logs every day. CLEARLY A LIBERAL PLOT TO CONVERT YOU AMIRITE. In and of itself it wouldn't be a big thing, but it's just the largest bit of the grouping that shows that Jagex is a left leaning company, which is not surprising at England as a whole leans mostly to the left. And I believe the point of the quest was about the draogns causing air pollution, not us burning logs.

Maybe the point is that your idiotics rares have become too rediculous to even have some monetary measure anymore?

Next week in Runescape: A quest on world economics for our more mature players. Childish or boring, you decide. ;) Next week in Runescape: A sequel to Perils of Ice Mountain so we can once again bludgeon you over the head with our liberal politics. I wasn't aware that air pollution had political leanings. "This just in: Methane gas (R-CA) to run for governor!" It doesn't, but if you did POIM, you'd see that the content was clearly left leaning. I have a quest cape. Once again, how is a "be green" message in anyway politically affiliated? Because it's not just a "be green" message. It's more than that and it leaned to the left.

It is crap Hemen. I cannot take part, even if I wanted to, because every single organization believes in the subservience of the individual to the group, Has no one at Jagex ever heard of Individualism?
