How the hell does everyone keep getting these high kill streaks so often? I can never get anything higher than an attack helicopter. Unless AC-130/Chopper Gunner isnt equipped, then I rack up the kills. Of course.

Is there still anything Valve is doing about idling? Normally I'm against it, but I had everything unlocked (with the exception of some demo and soldier stuff), and most of it is gone for some reason.

While my squad is out killing ultima for his wrong opinion, I decided to try a knifing class. You die a lot, but the kills are fun as hell. But is it just me, or does the throwing knife not register a lot of the time?

Yes you should. It's not very hard to hold on to one, your teamates can always pick it up when you die, and the battles that start over a care package can be pretty intense, especially when there's a big one at stake.

Someone can't take a chopper gunner that wasnt earned by luck of the draw. Care Packages aren't that hard to keep if you dont use them as soon as you get it and stand right under it.
