Apparently you don't understand "scene". Scene usually consists of people who wear skinny jeans + straightened/dyed black hair + screamo music. It has nothing to do with acting depressed/cutting yourself. As you stated yourself, as an emo, you were depressed/had a negative outlook on life. Emo then evolved from a way of life into a look. I hate people who come on the internet and try to act e-cool. ^^^ I hate teachers who expect me to think of their class as the most important one. I have 9 classes for christ's sake and each teacher gives a full days worth of work each day. So I'm expected to do 9 days worth of work per day, and each teacher expects me to keep THEIR class the priority. I hate the Jonas Brothers and the Naked Brothers Band. Their music sucks and I think they know it. Hell, the NBB just yells the same 7 words over and over again for 5 minutes! I hate Twilight. For about 100 more hates....

I think it has something to do with being double jointed, but just in the hand. Nobody in the two towns I've lived in can do it, but I've heard it's not incredibly rare.
