  1. If you're a Dawn of the Dead fan, I just found a reason to get this on PC.

Have fun working at McDonalds for the rest of your life? Is that a reply to me or Agunimon's edits?
  3. Bioshock 1 was incredible beyond words. Let's just hope they don't run out of ideas and turn it into a shoot em' up game.

I know what my post says, I was there. I see what you're saying. The list DOES contradict what I just said, that was my mistake. I guess what makes a jerk is just arrogance. Think of some historic problems. 1. Slavery, and afterward segregation, was due to people believing they were better than blacks. 2. Nazi Germany, need I say more? But anyway, you can be "cool" and still be a good person. I don't know if it's just me, but people were terrible last year, but this year being good seems to be the new thing. Can't say I'm complaining. But let's not turn this into a flame war. It's alright to be different, so long as you're doing it for yourself. There's a difference between being an individual and screaming "Fight the power maaaaaan!" Ex. I like to read Edgar Allen Poe. I really like The Tell Tale Heart and The Black Cat. Because of this, people see me as a goth/emo. It annoys me, but I certainly don't do it just to piss people off. Edit: I like Zierro's analogy.
  6. Why is this thread still alive? It should have ended on the morning of November 5th, unless we're going for Obama's entire presidential career.

    1. Since when am I anti-establishment? I don't do it just for the sake of doing it, I do it because most of it is BS. (this is the U.S., everything is BS. London sounds nice.) 2. Since when do I think that being "In" makes you a jerk? Being a [wagon] to people for no reason is being a jerk. Being well liked is not.
  8. Err... it's advertisement for school fun. I've had a cappella groups interrupt classes to advertise plays, it's more fun than anything else. Bad. Get rid of said opinion. Nao. Why is it bad? That seems pretty far exaggerated. Why is it that for most people the worst day of their life was the last bad thing that happened to them? I thought dipping sauce was free everywhere :| . I mean, it's a tiny packet of sauce for Christ's sake. True, but it costs money for the restaraunt to get them.

Jk. School society has it's view of the perfect person, and if you don't conform to it, you're an outcast. Basically, it's this. You have to wear the newest, best clothes. Males have to be jocks, females cheerleaders. Can have no association with technology in any way. You have to treat anyone who doesn't conform like scum. If you don't treat them like scum, you are scum. "Your mom", and sexual innuendos are the only insults and/or jokes. Intelligence is bad, looking good is everything. The verdict of how they want you to be: :wall: The bottom line is, if you're not a stuck up jerk, you're not accepted. I already respect you more after reading your first post, because you've shown that you have a mind of your own. Be different. If everyone was the same we'd never get anything done. I've never seen this to be true outside of TV or movies. Yup, usual TV and Movie stereotype. My school has a normal mix of Jocks, nerds, geeks, emos etc. We all get along relatively well, there's no absolute hatred for petty reasons. I'm what's normally considered a jock, I also wouldn't normally be associated with any of those stereotypes right there. Not trying to flame or irritate you, but my guess is from those type of remarks / stereotypes you're not that popular? I'm actually doing pretty well this year. Seems about half of the population are jerks, and half are either my friends, or people I don't mind.

I'm just talking about middle-high school. Aside from those difference is more accepted.

Unfortunately, the people at my school cover every sitcom stereotype, and this is how they are.
  13. I got one. People who misuse the word "ironic". It seems that people use that word for EVERYTHING now. Ex. Teacher: We were supposed to start an essay today, but we're going to read The Tell-Tale Heart first. Idiot: That's ironic. Me: :wall:

  15. He's talking about the score. I suggest you take another look.
  16. ^ That game could be cool if you get good at it. Make another thread for it, it may be considered hijacking on this one.
  17. I don't get it. You can put a couch in the backyard, but not the front?
  18. Like people have said before: When I'm in a debate with several people and I make a good point, the rebuttal is invariably "your mom".
  19. Hmmm..... The one on the left in the fourth pic looks an awful lot like a strider.
  20. I think the AI director is just the AI program that Valve uses to decide where zombies will spawn, how many, etc. I don't think it's an actual character.
  21. Racism is not acceptable, period. Unfortunately, blacks do seem to get away with it more. And I agree that many blacks voted for Obama because he's black, and many whites voted for him because they were worried they would otherwise be seen as racist. One of the main things I've been hearing is "If you didn't want Obama, you're a racist."
  22. So bottom line: If I put in the new hardrive,, whenever I turn my computer on I'll get to decide which OS I want to use, depending on what I'll be doing?
  23. So when I start up with a bootloader, I will get to choose which hardrive I want to use for now?
  24. peesee. Thats all you need to know.
