  1. Valve will make them usable. You may have noticed that Versus maps are slightly different than Campaign maps (the most notable being the staircase on the back of the main building on the finale of No Mercy. In campaign it's a closed stairwell, on Versus it's more of a fire escape staircase type thing, out in the open. Once they're done making the changes, I'm sure we'll see them.

Find me something that isn't legal in Texas. Up here in New York, and in most states, your CD player is not a member of the family.
  3. You've just been Barack Roll'D.

Actually, it's not legal here either. Unless they're a clear and direct threat to you or someone else's safety, you can't shoot. The safety of your CD player doesn't count.
  5. I'm not asking for a lot, but the stuff is expensive. I don't have my hopes up. -Gamer mic for PC -Digital Camcorder -Video capture card -Renewed XBL subscription
  6. Yeah. Versus can be fun if you have a good enough team. I remember one where my team was infected and it was the second chapter of No Mercy. The way we coordinated was that when they opened the safehouse door, we had a smoker pull one survivor down into the hole. As his teamates on top shot down, we had a boomer vomit on all of them. A horde swarmed the now incapped survivor in the hole while the others dealt with their own horde. A hunter jumped on the survivor in the hole. In a few seconds the three survivors on top got the situation under control, but we had killed a survivor right outside the saferoom door. They managed to limp to the end of the subway tunnel after several more skirmishes on the way, but they were all wiped out before they could get to the generator room.

Is the life of a criminal really more valuable than the possessions of an honest person? If you're asking all of us honestly, yes, I do regard life > possessions. Don't ask questions you don't know the answer to. ;) I guess it depends on your personal set of morals. Here in the U.S. we have plenty of porch rednecks ready to shoot anyone that knows of the existence of their "proportay".

  9. OH MY GOD I don't know how I forgot about this. About 2 weeks ago we had an incident where a kid escaped from the special ed room (he's a real loon, needs to be kept away from everyone else). He took a dump on the main stairs #-o
  10. Nothing happens in this town, but from birth to the end of 5th grade I lived in a really bad neighborhood. I finished elementary school there when 4th grade ended. In the yearbook, there was a picture of each student and their favorite memory of the school. It was such a bad neighborhood that one kid wrote: "I will never forget the time Nicholas hit Franklin upside the head with a trombone." Remember, we were 9.
  11. You seem to be assuming that it was Indians that were behind this. Let me remind you far more Indians died in this than westerners. India was more of a victim than this than any other country. I'm not saying that the families of the foreign casualties, far from it. Another main reason they specifically killed some westerners is because they know they'll get more international media coverage for it. I don't mean the Indian government, I mean they were Indian extremists. I hadn't thought of the media attention, but you're right.
  12. Civilians p=often get caught in the crossfire, that's an unfortunate fact. We don't destroy entire countries because we THINK someone MIGHT be in that general area. In the mind of a terrorist, they see themselves as right, but who doesn't? It's twisted logic. And it still doesn't explain why they attack US targets. We haven't done anything to India. And what about British targets? Britain is the only one here that they might have a conflict with, and even then, why civilians?
  13. Because for a lot of the British empires earlier wealth they basically raped and pillaged countries such as India, it's not that they think were to free, we just gained the majority of earlier wealth by colonizing countries and taking their natural resources meaning they never had the money nor technology to fully develop. A small extremist terrorist cell isn't the opinion of the entire country, such as the terrorists thinking were to free, India relies on Western countries to help develop it's economy and improve it's country's wellbeing, not every citizen thinks the same as the extremist terrorists. They're killing civilians for something that happened hundreds of years ago and noone involved had anything to do with? There's terrorist logic for you.
  14. Why are terrorists attacking British/US citizens? I've read that they think we are too free. Christ, instead of pulling crap like this, why can't they try and develop for themselves? Make some alliances?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have a question. I just rented this game and made a crappy map. How do I publish it? And can anyone help me test it? P.S. I have a snapshot of it and it completes the checklist for Capture the Diamond.
  16. I censored your post. You're going to offend someone.
  17. He's basically asking us for essay material.
  18. His family probably won't pay for it. Once he dies they'll probably take it to court.
  19. It's not wrong to have excessive violence and gore in games because that's what they are. Games. I'm 13, and I have been playing the GTA series since I was 7. I have never once done something in a video game and thought "Wow, I should really do this." When somebody's child kills someone because of what they saw on GTA, they blame video games. Meanwhile... 1. The ESRB rating is there for a reason. Why were you letting little Timmy play GTA? The only reason I did get to play was because I never stood up from games before and thought I should actually go for it. 2. This one is really important. Parents blame game companies as a scapegoat because they can't admit that they were too stupid to restrict the game to someone who clearly couldn't handle it, and because they can't admit that their kid was an idiot.
  20. Unless this guy is somehow related to John Rockefeller (the oil guy, not the senator), his and the next few generations of his family are destroyed. Way to represent, man.
  21. I fixed it, does it work now?
  22. I hate this achievement. I just played through the Blood Harvest campaign and had 2 achievements ruined by the damn witch, Crown'd and the one for no incaps. I was going to a safehouse and this is where she spawned. Then I walked up to her with the auto shotty and thought I could get her. I stood next to her. She looked right into the barrel of my shotgun. I pressed my finger against the mouse and.... ...stupid Bill gives me some pills! Instead of shooting the witch, I eat the pills I didn't need, and the witch incaps me.
  23. RAAAAAAAGE!!! I was on the part of No Mercy where the survivors ride the lift up, and I was the Boomer. I vomited on them, then retreated to the roof. When they got into the next room, I vomited on them again. They then went down through the hole, and I went into the room. One guy went ahead, but 3 of them, stood directly under the hole, and I vomited on them for the third time, triggering the third horde. During all of this one of them died. They kicked me without an explanation :x
  24. Also, you can't replace Halo 3 this way. Well, you could, but Bungie says there are problems with it.
  25. I just bought the game and did the No Mercy single player. Seems the AI Louis likes to watch me suffer.
