worst pain ever inflicted on you
I'm a welder, and I work with a lot of high temp. metals. The job I was currently working on required overhead welding on some angle iron. (Over head welding is just welding above your head) Overhead welding is probably one of the hardest ways to weld, because if you go too fast, you get weak welds, and if you go go too slow, the metal begins to sag and you've just created a mess. Well...during this job, I had a fly give me buzz in my hood, and it distracted me..a lot. Little did I know, I was beginning to go too slow, and nice big gloop of slag dripped, burned through my scotch guarded [bleep]ies, than through my boxers with miki mouse on it, and gave my package a nice little brand, then proceeded by slowly sliding down my leg...ouch. I still love what I do, and its the reason why I make more than anyone else at my high school. 8-) I was nearly brought to tears that day.

Wire Play v2 uoloaded
I call this Wire Play for obvious reasons. The player here is Barry Sanders, arguably the best half back in NFL history. This is my first piece of work that has this much wire frames. Barry Sanders Rate, hate, you know the drill. Wow, this is like my 3rd thread. :? v1 v2

The Milgram Experiment: What would YOU do?
I don't think I'd even start. I'd be too busy asking why the hell can't you do this yourself. :?

You cant really C&R with spearfishing. When we do go trolling, we occasionally tag the fish, but only for tournaments. I love fish, raw, sashed, fried, steamed, baked, any way, so if its something I enjoy, and gas isn't cheap, I see no reason to give up the fish when they are plentiful. It's odd how you say it doesn't taste good...have you ever tried smoked marlin? Mahimahi tastes good like any way...I'm assuming it must not go well with Scandinavian dishes or something. Btw, that marlin was over 400lbs, its well above its age for breeding. Its probably already done its thing. ;) I would like to add something. Spearfishing is the most economical way to fish. With a hook and line, you have no choice to choose the size of fish your catching, with spearfishing, conservation is an important key, taking only what you need and making sure they are all within fishing regulations. With spearfishing, you brain the fish soon as you can, this puts it out of its misery, and doesn't leave it gasping for water when its out of the water. At least its not left to slowly die on a 2 mile line or crushed to death in a giant net.

Gulf of Mexico has great spearfishing. Only problem is there's a lot of risks involved in the sport. I'd recommend taking a basic level performance free diving class; I wouldn't want tip.it to be liable if any accidents were to occur. Shallow water black out can kill you or your friend if either of you don't know how to respond. The classes are a bit pricey, but the knowledge to save ones life and is invaluable. If you have asthma, any ear, or any cardiovascular complications, I wouldn't try it. You can still freedive with asthma, but your bottom time will be horrible. Just remember, I've been doing this for nearly my whole life, take baby steps. If you're serious PM and I can help you get started.

My dad got me into fishing soon as I could start walking. My dad's side of the family have all been fisherman at one point or another. My brother used to spend months at a time on a long line fishing boat.(He's in that pick with the marlin) We do a lot of tournaments, and theres a lot of money involved. A fishing tournament called the Hanapa'a Shootout gives $30,000 to the first place winner. Only 100 contestants are allowed to enter, but there;s a $300 entry fee. The $30,000 doesn't include any prizes from sponsors, so you can make some big bucks if your lucky. My dad's won a few invitational tournaments, so we get a lot of pocket change for more gas money, which equates to more fish.

It's not easy, and people die from getting stabbed by the marlin's bill. Something every fisherman should be weary of and when handling it in the water, have one hand in its gills, and the other controlling it by its bill. There's a lot of money that I put into my rig to conquer those beasts. Some of my most important components are my bungee and float. I have 2 bungees, a 50ft Riffe bungee and a 100ft Riffe Bungee. This is that tires out the fish. When they make a run for it after you've speared them, they start fighting the bungee, and feel like they are being pulled back to the surface. The bungees are incredibly expensive. More than $3 per foot. I wipe them down with a special silicon spray after every use, and store them in a used hotel refrigerator I got for $30. Yes, I have a frig in my room. 8-) The float is crucial, it's what will make the difference between loosing hundreds of dollars in gear and loosing your fish, or making everything work. The brand I use is called AimRite, and their gear is developed here locally. The float is use generates over 90 lbs of flotation and practically un-implodable. Their advertisement was them running over the float fully inflated with their truck. I'm not shooting any record fish so I only need 1 float, which runs about $200. There is a lot more detail, but no one would read something that long.

My hunting is in the water. With my old siggys with the free divers, some people got curious about my passion for skin diving. i figured this would be the best place to talk about it a little. This is a message I sent to Powman talking about the sport. [hide=Pm]Skin diving is spearfishing without the use of scuba. The feeling of you at the bottom of the ocean at 100ft is incredible. It's also very dangerous though, shallow water black out can kill you, sharks, getting tangled at depth, and lots of other things. The training isn't easy. You have to use anaerobic and aerobic training to increase bottom time, as well with other apnea training methods. You need to be able to decreases your heat rate as much as possible, conserve your O2, and train your muscles to get used to high carbon levels in your body. The last time I did a dry static (in a nut shell, how long you hold your breath) my time was 3 mins and 52 seconds. This was without any free diving course. So yeah, you need lots of muscle, endurance, and most of all you need to train yourself mentally. It's hard to stop yourself from surfacing from air because your scared or think you need air. This isn't me, but it gives you an example. This guy always has good vids. [/hide] [hide=Uhu, reef hunting]In hawaii, we call this fish uhu, its meat sells for about $19 a pound at the market. Seam it, add some oil and green onions, and you're in heaven. The fish weighed in at 4lbs, so $80 fish. ;) [/hide] [hide=Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Ono, blue water hunting]I assume most of you already know that is a marlin. The greenish looking ones are called Mahi Mahi, which means "Strong Strong" in hawaiian, and trust me, they are fun to fight. The other long looking fish is called ono. In hawaii, ono litterally means to taste good, so I would say, "Damn, dinner was ono dad." [/hide]

I didn't use a tut. :? Do I make you guys one. If you need more details just ask. 1. Apply a dark blue background 2. Applied my C4D, keep in mind my render went into the middle of the C4D:This is the C4D I used. 3.I duplicated the C4D, added a motion blur and set the layer setting to soft light 4. After I got the C4D to my liking I cut out Devon Bess from a poster by the Honolulu Advertiser. (Make sure you know you render will match the C4D and vise vera) 5. Duplicated my render, added a motion blur and set it to multiply. (move this layer beneath the original) 6.Then I added the splatter, I use white and a very dark grey, the combination works well for me 7.Then I pressed CTR+ALT+SHIFT+E and that creates a new layer, combining everything. I then added a gaussian blur, and set the blending options to soft light, left it at 100%. 8. I repeated the last step except instead I used a motion blur, set the blending options to overlay and adjust opacity to your liking, i kept it at 71%. 9. I then added an adjustment layer with a gradient map. Another adjustment layer with a color balance. 10.Then I added my text, nothing too fancy. I then pressed CTR+ALT+SHIFT+E again, and then did an inner stroke with a 1px boarder. That's all to it, it was very simple tbh. I'm really liking this, vectors are pretty boring after around 12 hours. -.- I found where I got my splatter brushes, probably the only splatter brush set you'll ever need, with 100 quality splatter brushes by IceChiken. :D Here is is: http://icechicken.deviantart.com/art/Ic ... The world record for a static is 18 minutes and 3 seconds. Is it an unfair advantage if I skin dive?

Rate, hate, just tell me why and how to improve. This is devone bess, the same year we were the WAC champions...and got put to shame by the bull dogs. None the less, our best year still.

I need some tips on improving speed, if you don't mind
Neither have I till this years new sprinting coach. I take his word for it, he won Hawaii's fastest man 5 years strait, and when was 35ish. I've been averaging 3rd place in the 100, so I'm fine with it. I agree with rebdragon about the 40. The 40 is too short to show anything but acceleration. Try running the 400 competitively. It becomes a whole new ball game and shows how much speed endurance you have. But then again like you said, there is a difference between track, soccer, and (American)football.

Yes, but with the right sprinting [bleep]es for track, the sole is designed so that your heels will tap faster. I've been told in the past to run on my toes, but now I've learned that from running on your toes, you tend to cut short on you stride as you try to run faster. When you run on your toes, your not utilizing your hamstring as you should be. I'm not saying land completely flat footed, but so that your toes touch first, and then your heels tap. I should've elaborated a bit there.

But no improvement in technique. Technique first, then think about lifting. Establishing good technique before anything is going to be your first priority if you want to be faster. I'm already lifting, am I still able to focus on technique whilst lifting, because I'm already seeing and feeling results in my arms, chest, abs, and legs. Don't train to be superficial. You're not lifting or anything when your running while doing drills or running I hope. If you haven't done any conditioning, don't be pushing yourself too hard. I've seen too many people not do anything for 10 months, then try out for a sport. They normally end up with tendinitis, which takes a couple weeks to fully recover.

Is God real post your thoughts!
This is very true. Many, many monotheistic religions refer to their god as "God." Exactly. For example, Allah in Arabic means God.

How did you relate nursery rhymes to religion? I'm talking about religious texts, not what you sing to make your baby happy. What hole did you pull that out of?

If you land on your toes, it takes longer for your heel to tap the ground. Most people run sloppy, and their heels don't even touch their ground. When your heel touches the ground, you get a lot more pop from your hamstring. Trust me, this form felt weird at first, but you get used to it after a few days.
