  1. I find this very interesting. Why only mention the cannon, when it increases Range xp from normal training with only the Bronze knives? Sacred armor lasts for a certain amount of xp, so I don't see how it specificly benefits the cannon. This is false. Hitting 25 on a Yak is just as rare as hitting 25 on a Black dragon, as long as you hit. So you should revise this to "you should hit common", because that's the only benefit Yaks have. You also didn't mention how long the helmet lasts. I'm almost certain that the sacred armor definetely isn't worth obtaining, as the time spent obtaining the helms far outdoes the time saved from training. I would suggest you do some calculations to see how much xp it lasts for, and compare it to how much longer it lasts if you use the top, chaps, and helm together to see if they are worth getting. Good luck on perfection. Sheesh, you HAD to put that you have defeated king phyto, huh? Yeah, I did some estimates and a fully charged piece of sacred clay armor lasts for 20k experience. The armor can be used with any type of training, but cannoning seems to be the only practical use. Using the simple bow and arrow is alright, training will be a bit slow, and if you use it while chinning, your sacred clay armor will last you a good 15 minutes. Cannoning yaks seemed to be that good median between the two. Knives would work, but its even better if you use it to compliment the cannon. Some yaks are in positions where the fence blocks them. I liked the questions you asked, I hope you don't mind if add that into the section do you?
  2. Inching towards perfection. A nice short explanation, and very recommended trying.
  3. We're already struggling to keep up with updating points, and theres a lot more work put into this than it appears. I doubt this will happen in the near future, but I would like to add that there already is an offline and online status below you're avatar, and you're always free to add something in your siggy. -Promise
  4. Oh come on, no need for that...... Anyway, it is going to take a LOT, and i mean a lot of work to get 9 summoning on a pure. The best whay, fro mwaht i have read id to make pouched into scrolls, but even that takes a loooooooong time. Scrolls -> shards to reimburse some of the cost. a Long time. Seriously. Expect to get it by, say, 2012 or something. I think you only get 0.25 exp per pouch when you turn it into a scroll. Could be more or less, all I know is that you don't get anything over 1xp. Don't quote me though.
  5. Been a while since I've posted on this forum. At the moment, I can't really do anything but vectors. I'd like to get more into effects, making things stand out more or blending in better. Like here for example, Jack's hair catches the sun light and makes it white, and the other dude is all dull. Jack stands out more, and the shading on his hair completely throws me off. Any help? I used the pen tool to cut them out, I find it much easier than the magnetic lasso.
  6. Judging by the thread title, I think it's a logical assumption to think that the thread is about Christianity. Buddhist Demigods aren't referred to as "God". Jesus Christ deals with Christianity, as well. Nice job contradicting yourself. =D> :wall: There is no contradiction there. The thread is about the existence of a deity, and NOT about one specific deity. The reason we debate the Christian God as much as we do is because there are (1) More Christians on Tip.it than anything else, and (2) Christianity is the most followed religion in many of the countries where Tip.it'ers are from (USA, UK, ECT), and therefore people have more knowledge on the subject than they do on Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, ECT. Well put, but I'd like to explain myself a little more. I know that Buddhist demigods aren't called "God" but if if someone named their thread called "Did Siddhartha really exist post you thoughts" do you honestly think people would post a reply without having to go on wikipedia? Back on topic. Based on a class that I was required to take, religion is used to explain the super natural, I.E. Jesus Christ, in ways that humans can comprehend. I believe there is a greater being, but I can't say I follow any real specific religion. There's a name for this, but that class was extremely boring when you have a teacher who talks in a monotone voice. In Hawaii, we have a god for pretty much everything, volcanoes, mountains, oceans, war, and anything you can think about. Similar to Native Americans, they believed in greater beings that represented something else, like how a coyote represents life. What I'm trying to say is that every religion will eventually lead to the same God, or greater being.
  7. Been a while since I posted here. Extremely busy planning stuff for the DMR and my personal life. If anyone's interested in doing a collab vector, post here or pm me. I'm also interested in something different, like having something with smudging and vectoring. And I never finished that Mayweather vs. Hatton vector. Took too much time and got very bored of it.
  8. I'd agree that looking down on people with different beliefs is in bad tatse, but there's nothing bad about denouncing other's beliefs as wrong. I don't know where you get that people here are being descriminated against because of their beliefs, either. Calling a belief stupid/insane or anything else for that matter isn't an attack on the person, it's an attack on the belief. It's good you don't see those posts, but that's because those posts were deleted. There were posts boldy calling people [developmentally delayed]ed for being Christians. Any type of behavior towards another person based solely on his qualities or beliefs is considered discrimination. It can be good or bad, but in this case, religious discrimination is bad. Its nice to have threads were people can maturely talk about these things, but we have to remember, religion is a life style for some people, and will take it personally. I'm just trying to get us to take it down a notch. It's fine to not believe something and state your reason why, but attacking someone else for not sharing the same opinion is just uncalled for.
  9. *My post does not reflect the views or opinions of Tip.It in any way, all opinions are my own. I think the only positive side to communism that I'd love to have is not hear so much crap about our government from the media. Half the things I hear are, "We are most likely definitely sure that Obama/Mc Cain/USA is *insert crap here*." No, it doesn't. If America was a socialist or even communist nation, the economy probably wouldn't have crashed, because you wouldn't have been allowed to do the things that caused the economy to crash. (Giving people loans that they can't afford, etc.- If I remember right Bush voted for the deregulation of the financhial market which allowed just that.) You can't blame every single person that's gone bankrupt for our recession. People COULD afford those loans, but that was before banks jacked up interest rates. It's that insignificant group of people, along with the banks who caused this domino like effect. About that Bush thing, I think he did want it regulated, but the people he choose were unable to prevent this from happening...please don't get me started. :-w
  10. This thread was created to debate your ideas about whether a god does exist. This isn't restricted to Christianity, which seems like everyone is aiming at. This friendly place to exchange your beliefs and talk about it, but all I've seen are ignorant and disrespectful posts. Just because someone has a different belief, that gives you no right to look down upon them or call it wrong. God is a very vague term and can refer to anything from Buddhist Demigods to Jesus Christ. I won't name any of you, but flaming a person because of their religious beliefs is called discrimination. Something you might want to think about. I find it very sad that this is happening during the holiday season. :shame:
  11. The ammulet is from the Waterfall quest. I don't quite remember the names of the stone and the gnome you talk to, but this quest guide will tell you everything you need to know.http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=66
  12. Aviansies section updated & new tip. Enjoy, and happy holidays. :
  13. In theory it sounds good, but in reality, not really. The only way you'll get decent experience is with mith, addy, or broad bolts. The only reason we use those bolts on things like aviansies is because they're profitable. In the fight caves, the amount of tokkul you receive is so insignificant, that it hardly makes a difference. It's much better to train else where you can either get more exp or more money. Time to update guide a bit. :?

  15. Selling a dragon plate or piece for maximum in G.E. after today, along with 32 pharo screptres.
  16. Forgot to mention my last question, post edited. :wall:
  17. Title explains it. How many p pots using a holy wrench will I need? Will I get the same amount of xp if I used 12k red chins? How much experience will 20k grey chins get me?
  18. Locked due to spam. :| -Promise
  19. As you've noticed, we're currently lagging in updating your points onto the DMR high scores. I'd first like to apologize, but I ask that you try to be patient. We currently only have 2 mods right now updating the points, including me. I and many other mods have mid terms coming up. Our academics are a priority and we're spending more time with our family during the holidays, so our free time is limited. I'd like to restate that the DMR is still in beta stages, which means it isn't up to all it's glory. This is more just of a "test drive" to see how things work so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for all your cooperation and patience, Promise
  20. Don't be quick to pull the trigger. I had to smith about 1.2k mithril bars to get my smithing from 68 to 69. Using the morphic hammer, I had about 150 left over before I reached 69. Anyone who has a long term goal, the morphic tool is a must. I don't look at it as a reward, but a bonus.
  21. You can't catch swordfish at Piscatoris, only monk fish. ;)
  22. Ahem, my guide talks a lot about those strwberries, which was long here before yours. ;) I think it was the first guide to even mention them for training. I've noticed a good guide can't be based only content, but all those pretty pictures that people like to look at and make things like inventories easier to set up. There's a higher expectation for guides here than it is on the RSOF, so you do need to put a lot more time and effort into a guide. Just some tips to help you out in the future. I'd also like to add, there's already tons of guides on aviansies. Making a guide on something original will get much better feed back. If you do want to make a guide about something a lot of people know about. Your going to have to introduce new, effective methods. Writing a guide like this is just repeating what other people said. I hope you don't take offense to any of the feed back, but you have to understand that people get tired of reading a guide that's unoriginal and common.
  23. Thanks for the info. I found it matches my mod title. 8-)
  24. Is it worth paying 30k in spines just to have a farmer take care of your tree? I plan on planting 10 yew trees, so I would end up paying over 300k extra on the spines. :?
  25. I guess I'll try to update guide. Really busy. Final in 2 weeks + asian mom = no free time. :wall:
