  1. I think Jagex should not only concentrate on the monster itself, but the environment which its located in. Let's say you fight the Corporal beast in a big nice empty room. The room will always be the same and the same same tactics will work over and over again. Now lets introduce a new environment. Lets say its in an ancient cavern where an ancient race of goblins had set up dangerous traps around the beast the prevent it from escaping. Not only would you rely on your combat skills, but your agility level as well. Your character would automatically try to avoid a trap if activated and each time you entered the room, the traps would be located in different places; to keep people guessing. Each time you activated a trap, it would force you to stop attacking. I'm not saying traps, but I'm just using this as an example.
  2. I wish i could draw, but the best I've gotten was some helecopoter i drew in the 4th grade. :? I'm a sophomore now. :wall: PS pen tool is the only way i can draw good. :
  3. Either you mean 150, or you are lying. Fix your post. Or hax. :-$
  4. Eventually Jagex will have to raise skill caps. They can't keep making new skills. They'd eventually run out of decent skills and I really don't want something like luck or sailing to be a skill. Upgrade skills, and eventually level caps.
  5. Man...I love your work. I'm assuming the last one is pointing out how the media is so influential and is poisoning Americans? Just a guess. Does your work have a messege behind them?
  6. Those were the days. Sadly things change and we just gatta move on. But its close knit communities like tipit that keep friends together and help you make new ones. Might I add its a lot better than the RSOF?

Nothing serious, was bored and this is the equivalent of doodling on PS. :P EDIT: Lock please, idk wut i was thinking lol
  8. I once got a challenge scroll on my first kill at jorges. It was a mistake too, was doing a clue and retaliate was on. Its based all on luck, but I've never really "hunted" for them.
  9. It only promotes laziness for the lazy. Nobody is forcing anyone to use the G.E. For me, it depends on my mood. If I feel like killing time, I'll gather my own raw materials, but sometimes time is limited, and G.E. my savior.
  10. This. Most items will not go below their high alch value, except mass produced items like yew longbows. Yes, because a phat or 3a armor would drop to its high alch value. Everything is bound to drop, it's inevitable (In most cases). But because everyone could see that it dropped with the G.E. beta, people will panic to sell their items. This causes prices to flux at a much faster rate. With trade caps, the only way to sell an item below street value is through the G.E. This ties in with the G.E. beta and supply and demand. The only time there is demand is if an item isn't plummeting. This makes buying a BGS without loosing cash much harder. Demand has now declined and supply has increased. If everyone didn't feel like they're walking on ice, the economy would be much more stable.
  11. I'm sure if you've looked at this forum, you'll notice the beta DMR sticky. To keep track of your points, I or another mid will enter you into a list. It isn't required that you sign up using this, but it makes things much much easier. Runescape Username: Combat Level: F2P, P2P: Simple, yes? Please limit your posts, it just makes it easier for me. If you haven't read the rules, I highly suggest you do here. Please remember that the DMR is still in its beta stages. - Promise

I see. When ever I download a texture, I can never find it. :wall: Any help?
  13. I saved it as a png. They're very basic. You pretty much just used the custom shape tools and very trivial work with the pen tool. If I were you, get used to the pen tool. When you're making vectors of real images, you will NEVER use the custom shape tool. Your shading seems to be ok, but could use a few tweaks. In all, it seems be good, assuming you've little experience with vectors. Also, why the heck are they so big? They are big because the first two are wallpapers and the latter are the default paper size InkScape creates. I would like to also add that I can do far better...but this is just freehand stuff that's not supposed to be abstract. It's my little style and I quite like it, actually. It's not supposed to look realistic or anything, but more "cartoony with shapes." [hide=Vector I did before][/hide] That one is so big because, er, the picture I traced was big... I see. I wasn't saying it was ugly or anything, but simple and nice. Also, I don't wanna sound like a jerk or anything, but you a went a bit overboard with the shading on the horse, and because the colors aren't that similar, it REALLY stands out; same thing with the ear.
  14. His facial expression of getting KOed is really hard to finish. I'll post an update sometime this weekend.

Did you use the pen tool to make that line that goes around him and his arm? If you did, you need to tweak where it curls around his arm. It's sort of rigid. Tbh...i dont really care for them. It doesn't wow me like the rest of your work.

I really like the texture on the first one? Link to tut? And the second one...will kill me in my dreams.

  18. The Gif is uuuuuggggllleeeey.
  19. Shush, its not done lol. I'll work on it tonight.
  20. V. 5 has been added. The end is finally in sight. With over 20 hours of work put into this, this will be the highlight of my album. I've enjoyed working on this piece. I've taught my self many new tricks for better shading, which is invaluable. I have future plans for large projects like this. For the background, i'll include the following text: Rated number 1 p4p (Pound for pound) boxer in the world. Six time world champion boxer in 5 different classes. WBC Welter weight champion. 39-0. 25 wins by KO. I'll try to fit it all. Considered one of the greatest boxers in history and my god. [hide=Future Vector] CLICK (Excuse the beat advert. But it's the only vid i could find that wasn't the weigh in) Heavy Weight is for big boys. [/hide]
  21. Looks really good. A bit of an over kill with the wire frames though. A bit less would probably look better.
  22. Judges would most likely have biased opinions. Not only that but each forum has a different style. Judges would probably vote for their site's style.
  23. That would defeat the whole purpose. The more well rounded and diverse you are, the better chances of winning you'll have.
  24. You see that big section thats titled stickies? To be honest, I don't see anything special about it. It's not like you're gunna get a special reward. :|
