It's sad to see you go. :cry: You've always given me great feed back, on this forum and others. I think the Gallery will be at a loss without you. You're unique art and new styles always gave diversity to the forums; you'll truly be missed. :) To the pic, I sort of like it. I think i get what your trying to do and it seems to work well. It does need to be touched up though. It's great for your first real attempt at this new style.

V. 4 added. I see a few spots i need to touch up, like the blue section on his shorts and make the shading on his gloves stand out more.

A better questions would be what's the point of this topic? If you've even looked over previously made topics, its a place where people can set up safe DMs. This thread will also be used in the future for the DMR. Agreed. Great job with the colours :) Overall I'm a little iffy. I definitely like parts of the sig, but I'm not sure if I like all those parts put together. I love the area including and below the text, but I can't decide if I like it on top of the smooth, dark background. It just feels a little too contrasting (sharp, colourful, abstract images on top of a dark, plain, smooth background). I feel like there needs to be a better transition (you do have SOME colour in the background, but maybe a little bit more closer to the next would be better?). The left side is nice too, but I definitely don't like it quite as much. It doesn't seem to flow quite as well as the right side does. And I'm not really a huge fan of the border :ohnoes: But otherwise, nice job. I definitely think you have some elements of the signature with a lot of potential. I'm just not sure that they all work well together, in the same image. Just my opinion though :ohnoes: Pretty much everything what that dood said except in 1 sentence. Great minds think alike. 8-)

Very true, but there's some parts I don't agree with. Your assumption that deciding whether its a merchant panic or manipulation is somewhat wrong. Do you remember a few months back, BGS would go up 50k than everyone starts buying it, then decides to sell it. It would plumit 1m one day than two days later be up 500k. Now compare that to what just happened. The BGS magicly goes up 5m? Everyone see's this, then decides to try and buy it for max price. Now the people you say are "manipulating" are obviously going to dump their BGS and make that huge profit. Now supply has dramatically increased and everyone is happy. Now they all decide they want to make that quick buck and sell it. That fails and now everyone begins to sell their BGS hoping to break even or lose minimal cash. The next day people see that the BGS droped a mere 200k and begin to panic. I also wouldn't exactly call this price manipulation, but a monopoly. Everything else you said is pretty much on the money. Also, I'd like to add to your Jagex putting more restrictions. I think if Jagex never released the G.E. and still gave us some breathing room for merchanting, this would never happen...well it did, at a MUCH slower rate.

I was planning on making it look like scraps of paper that are from the original scroll. Each scrap will have a bit more clues about the mysterious familiar on the original banner. That kind of makes things more interesting and keeps a viewer reading. I'll try to get to it this weekend.

Man...I made you banner better than mines. :lol: If you want, I could make some headers to compliment the banner like on my guide. They just make it easier to recognize the different sections. Just don't expect them till around this weekend.

In reality, brushes are very simple to make, well if we're talking about things like a grey tree. Just take a pic, cut it out, and save it as a brush setting. I've noticed lately that there's been more criticism about where people get their resources. If people wouldn't want other people using it, than don't post it on DA. Just remember give credit where credit is due. Back to your art, it looks pretty cool. I'm assuming their ghostly beings?

Thanks for the feed back. And FYI, i said that wasn't how the background was going to be. There will be text within them stating his titles. Such as Rated 1 P4P, 6 time world boxing champion in 5 different classes, WBC Welterweight champion, undefeated champion of the world. yeah...you can say he's one of my idles. :geek:

I have Adobe Master Collection CS3. ;) The quick selection with low tolerance works well too, but I'd like to see you try using it to cut out hair. :wall: Thats where the pen tool comes in handy, you can just outline the hair then set anchor points. Anyways, V. 3 Uploaded. I'm just about done with pretty boy. And no, that's not the final background. I'm thinking in the white zones, I'm going to have his titles, such as Rated 1 P4P.

I bet you got that saved as a word document saved as "4noobs." :lol: They look alright, but your brush was too thick when you where outlining the coat and your people are a bit out of proportion. I'm assuming you used ms paint?

These aren't the type of items to sell in bulk. And now that you have more people doing thing, prices will only drop.

I actually got the stock from google search. (google is faster to type :lol: ) :shock: I'm not that great with text, but if anything would like to give me a few tips, feel free to pm me. :D For the texture, I just adjusted brightness and contrast, gave it slight burn and use the fire looking thing from the runescape wall paper for that texture like effect. Here's the link if you're curious.
