  1. When were Hobgoblins updated? :? What else haven't you told me?? you sure you didn't have 10 points?
  2. okay, 1st sensible reply I've seen in a while and I agree with you for the most part. I write about this because I think it's time to really stand up to the 99 everything people who cries endlessly for higher and higher level content AND jagex actually listens to them. Extremely high levels should really know that they do not make a majority in this game and it's really the influx of new player's support that keeps a game like rs financially viable. I think you put it well, it's a "truly incomprehensibly rare occasion" and in the end I will probably probably look for those 10k crimsons that will take me to 93 summon, but not because I think it's right to set it that high, but to me the game more about quests and tasks like the diaries rather than grinding and more grinding for a higher number and some fancy cape. I can only hope for the future. -it's not for "all 99's people" -you don't have to do it. Level 1-3 are more than doable and fit the traditional 3 lists per diary. -high level players have a say in the game and should get content as well. I think it's really smart to make this update a totally optional one. you don't have to complete it for a quest or anything important, just for fun. -I'm perpetuating the endless whining. many people here seem to be whining: "how dare you make content that I the MVP cannot complete! shame on you JaGex!"
  3. Oh, I thought that was the Elite version. So, no visual or stat change between them? Also what was someone talking about, a secret weapon or something other? What's that about? The stats are the same if the picture metoo posted is of the elite cape. As to the secret weapon, that was the fake crystal hally. People said that if you took an uncharged crystal elund, she would enchant it into a crystal hally.
  4. Too much complaining here. I am really happy with the elite section of the achievement diary. Even though I don't have the skills to complete it, it's refreshing to see true high level content. And it was smart of Jagex (am I really saying this) to add the elite section AFTER the third. That way, the masses of players will still be able to "complete" the diary, there's just something else you can choose to do after. The elite section is like a sidequest in my mind.
  5. Awesome old RS pics  I also <3 your 99 mining and rc.
  6. Yes, you did, because it's Jagex's game. Your monthly membership entitles you to play the game, but it doesn't buy you fractional ownership. ;-) I signed up before it was a controlled economy, so really I didn't sign up for it. my interests and beliefs don't change when jagex updates the game. I think for myself
  7. we signed up for a controlled economy and trade limits right? oh wait...
  8. Congratulations!! [hide=99 RC pictures] [/hide] grats grats grats grats and grats. It's been a long time in the making but here it finally is 99 runecrafting. lets go skydiving
  9. old forumz bak plz

  10. Who is Knoxolia? She isn't special according to Hi-Scores. a level 3 at PP. A mini-game with aggressive monsters and obstacles that can deal damage if failed.
  11. Larryr has been #1 rc for a long time, I think he quit like a year or two ago and no one passed him till now more than 5 years No-no. 3 years or so, impossible that he got 157M RC from March-September. my bad on the 5 years figure, 4 years seems accurate enough though. I just remember that he was a RWT'er who ran a nature running business. This got him massive amounts of xp in a short period of time.

  13. maybe skillers participate in things like polls more than pkers.

  15. nope. you just need to find the balance of using money and making money. Back about 2-3 years ago I had trouble spending my money on skills or things that would yield no return. So my cash pile sat at a constant 30m, never going up or down. I started to lose interest in the game because I wasn't spending money and enjoying the other skills, but I also felt that I had enough money. I finally started to spend that money and the game opened up for me. I made that money back quickly because there was now a reason to make money, I was training new skills and buying new things that I wouldn't have in the past, and I was enjoying myself again. Money buys a certain amount of freedom in this game. So the more you have the less you have to worry about "will I make that back?" Also it seems like with more money you learn how to make that into much more money. (g.e) but yeah money is a good thing, assuming you spend it. ;)
