Back when skillcapes were first proposed on the RSOF, by Mr. Gandalf, he suggested that each skillcape should grant you a bonus/ability. Like for mining he suggested you get two ores sometimes or when farming you get a larger harvest. We unfortunately got stuck with a 30 second stat boost that does nothing but look cool. We also had some other items introduced to grant some of the features that were suggested (like varrock armor). I think the reason we didn't get the bonuses with the cape is because jagex saw an opportunity to make lots of content outside of the skillcapes. I totally think that the skillcapes should have had additional features from day but sadly due to, what I think, a move on jagexs' part to stretch content out we missed out on that.

This is my fifth 99 skill, firemaking. yeah I know it's an easy skill but whatever I wanted to get 99. I plan on getting some respectable 99's now like Runecrafting and Mining. let me know what you think.

i had trouble in mid 70's combat but this was right when the quest came out and i think i used metal armor :oops:. i died 3 times.

My thoughts are: why get xp on another account when you can get it on your main. 10 hours gets little xp on a noob and tons of xp on my main. I will admit however that it do enjoy running around on noob accounts for memory's and whatnot.

Way back in 2006 i told myself that i wanted 99 woodcutting. I was a noob and didn't play that much but i got from 62-94 before i stopped. later on in 2007, after i started to play runescape more seriously, i set out for 99 hunter. At this point i played runescape very efficiently and competitively and achieved 99 in 3 weeks 4 days. it was in the summer so i had no problem no-lifing and i gained 54 levels from 45-99 hunter. I also made a sweet 35m. my second 99, fletching, happened in one long grind. Sep 30-oct 24. getting level 98 and 99 in the same day. :) I then finished my first goal of 99 wc in december of 2007. It took from Nov 30- Dec 12. 4th 99, cooking, came the following summer in another 1 week grind. Aug 3-8. I gained 3m+ xp a few days. there is some spiroff history i guess. I went off topic but had fun.

This map fills in some stuff i guess. they may have just filled the gaps to produce a full map for the mini game but whatever.

law runes are are the only runes that you can't cast offensive spells with, anything that aids in your combat or does damage, that's why they made them accessible to all players. People with pures don't want to, and can't, do the quests because they don't have the combat requirements. I think JaGex is figuring that if you want to make offensive runes that you should need an appropriate combat level. And if you just want to craft runes for money, at least one rune should be available. This way pures can make money and craft something with respectable xp/essence.

make this game more mature so it gets more mature players in the next few months. that way when they release their new "mature" mmo, people can switch more comfortably. or they are just uncensoring words that will be uncensored in their next mmo so the two of them can communicate between each other. i dunno im just glad that their uncensoring dumb words like suck and crap, and giving us more freedom.
