Fire Wave is sometimes expensive, with a higher max hit (20). Slayer Dart is sometimes less expensive, with a slightly lower max hit (18-19). The reason I say sometimes is because the GE price of blood runes and death runes are always somewhat similar, deaths are more expensive atm, but you need elemental runes for fire wave. I find fire wave better because it gives more XP and tends to hit higher more often.

Anyone think I should get a second one? :D

hawtness...literally :D yeah fight caves is all about patience, it's really repetitive, and a let down if you lose to Jad, I took lots of breaks in between, thankfully they added a log out option :)

For the first time ever I got him to half health, and successfully lured the healers very quickly! :D I GOT 8k TOKKUL!! oh yeah, and that weird cape thingy... I love when this happens, I love speculating : Zemourgeal claims that he is going to the North to meet with Lucien and "the others", so perhaps he obtains the staff from him. I really think it is Zemourgeal because of the sheer likeness between the picture and the in-game character. However, it is possible that it is Lucien. The background is interesting, could this dark, evil cavern be the location of the upcoming quest? Maybe there is a great showdown or something, deep underground. Or maybe this background is in the North? The north does not necessarily have to be a icy/snowy region, it could be lava/volcanic just like the wilderness. "Leave no stone unturned": deeply suggests an underground location, and the background is either leading underground (the skull cave entrance) or is already. Is it connected with the Dragon Forge in any way, or are these two separate storylines? Just some thoughts :geek:

That's true, at the time money didn't matter to me 8-) , but fire wave would be 300+ per cast, crumble undead is obviously more cost efficient :thumbup: Good point.

A couple of good levels from 2 weeks ago. :) Currently collecting more charms for 80 (long way off). And I just got the cancel lag a few minutes ago -.- EDIT: Also got this level milestone: 400k profit from 1 abberant task. 5 Rune Full Drops :D

This happens to many slayers. I don't know if Sumona has the same problem, but many say she is better for some reason. I was assigned 180+ waterfiends, cancelled, 198 waterfiends, cancelled, 146 waterfiends, blocked. I am really annoyed at wasting 160 points, but I think it is pure bad luck. However, I am definitely in one of his famous "loops" of Black Demons/Black Dragons/Steel Dragons/Fire Giants/Greater Demons. I hope this is fixed somehow.

I've heard that you have to have the boss monster type assigned in order to get to 1000 slayer exp (i.e., must have kurask assignment to get the 1k xp from the boss). Is this true?

This was so the day PvP started. It's sad, I had camped Mithril Dragons for months without drops (20 chewed bones burned, no dfh), and now people can kill a friend holding 75k over and over again and have an almost better chance of getting it? I wish there was maybe a 75k risk drop list, 250k drop list, and 1m drop list. EDIT: DarkDude = essentially same experience

No warning when alching high value items. They should probably add a warning if the GE price of the item is above 50k or so. I alched my saradomin sword once at ghostly warriors --> Bye 9m! :cry:

They probably made it so that anyone who sided with Armadyl in Temple of Ikov received it, but either overlooked this or want people to come back to members for the mega quest (I hope that's what this is about).

I prefer Rock Lobster bursting for fast experience. 80+ Magic recommended for efficiency, but 75 mage is fine. Also, you get lots of lovely charms! :mrgreen:

You're right, it is important for the economy but at the same time a very big money drainer. Why? Cash Value of Bars > Cash Value of Product Another reason? People want the skillcape more than the skill itself --> Buy off the 99 in gold rather than train it by older methods Therefore everyone loses money when they train smithing, unless of course they collected all the raw materials from scratch. However, since the materials cost more than the products, many miners sell their ore rather than use it. Another problem is that many monsters drop Rune items that are in big demand. Therefore, the value of these items go down due to increased supply, and therefore the original way of making them becomes more and more obsolete. If smithing was removed, the only way to get such items would be monster drops. It is very obvious and not really debatable that the PvP economy would be severely affected. But it's not going anywhere. If suddenly a demand for rune items rapidly increases, smithing will come to the rescue, but it probably will remain as a net loss skill.
