  1. Sorry to say, but you have to pick one. 10k can be raised quickly with appropriate skills, or killing some monsters. Training magic is a bit more expensive, but you can use training runes to 25, and spend around 10k worth for 30.
  2. If only we could get it to stay at that angle when it gets to flat ground  Are they still clickable?
  3. The day the bank robbery was revealed I tried this to see if Jagex overlooked telegrab and I actually tried it. But a couple of years later? lol?
  4. Insanely expensive, but still a possibility. Someone who had just made max money (2.14b?) might have decided to buy hundreds of magic stones. 25k xp per throne is pretty fast xp. It is just so ridiculously expensive.
  5. I don't see how skillcapes "ruined" runescape. You could buy off the skills before and show them off, but everyone would have to look you up on hiscores to check. These capes actually have a small +1 benefit and some bonuses, and look cool! Regardless of whether its a buy off cape, whoever says it is "nub" just doesn't understand that it still takes time to do. Another reason could be their jealousy ;) Emotes are fun as well, there is no negative to skill capes that I can think of.
  6. I was just posting some good ones for all the charms, but you're right, waterfiends are the best by far in general. Love it when I get waterfiend assignment :D
  7. Good point, for some reason I thought his Range was in the 70s, I guess I can't read :wall: Ranging blue dragons maybe?
  8. Whether you waste money is totally your opinion. You obviously got a lot of construction experience, which translates to a better house for parties, and/or more useful functions such as portals. I don't consider ice bursts a waste if used efficiently. For instance, it is a waste (imo) to ice burst chickens, where you could ice burst rock lobsters, which would not be a waste at all. Tips on saving money: melee saves money when compared to magic if you are talking about combat. Buying a weapon will pay for itself eventually, whereas you have to continually buy/make runes for magic. Same with range, you need to buy/make arrows.
  9. I always drink 3 doses of brew, followed by 1 dose of super restore. The ratio is NOT 2:1, it is 3:1 (or am I special? : ).
  10. That's a good way. Here are some suggestions for combat methods: Slayer --> Steady income, occasional rare drop, gets better every new monster you unlock (usually) God Wars --> with your stats, I would recommend Bandos, find a mass or large team that allows lower levels and wait for some good drops Green Dragons --> 4-5k per kill, crowded sometimes, many locations though Blue Dragons --> 4-5k per kill, not as crowded, harder to kill Black Dragons (ranging) --> 5-6k per kill, chance of getting a Draconic Visage Metal Dragons (maging/ranging) --> if you have runes to use or spare bolts, these are a good way to get rid of them. Keep the dragon bones if you want more money. Hope that gives you a good start! :
  11. You bring up a good point. Once you get bunyips, prayer is only needed for high level monster tasks, and even on those you can pray flash. Guthans also takes out the need for prayer for many tasks. The only thing I use prayer for is cannon tasks (mutated bloodvelds, warped terrorbirds, etc) and multi-combat agro areas (dagannoths in Chaos Tunnels). Bunyips/Guthans = single attack/lower level tasks Prayer = high level task (pray flash) and cannon/multi area tasks
  12. Agreed. Use golds if you are either low level, or they are the only charm you have and don't feel like collecting others :D . I went from 67-68 in 15 minutes using golds, but with other charms, you can do so much more.
  13. Gold Charms Fire Giants Giant Rock Crabs (Chaos Tunnels) Crimson Charms Waterfiends Black Demons (Chaos Tunnels) Rock Lobsters (Waterbirth) Dust Devils Green Charms All Dragons Blue Charms Kalphites Gargoyles Bork Corporeal Beast Tormented Wraith Dark Beasts Hope that helps! :
  14. Bronze med helm is an item used in Black Knight's Fortress so it is actually slightly popular. Try a really unpopular item like a 1-dose agility potion or beer, something that is tradeable that nobody really uses. EDIT: +1 to Blood Argon
  15. Good guide! I've done this before, but I made everything myself (farmed the curry and all that :( ), I got 70 cooking pretty quickly once I had everything though. Hope this guide is successful :
  16. Nice, do you know what level clue it is? Thanks, I think I've used it before, I'll add it as Safespot #3 in the future. Also, I'm thinking of removing the tank setup altogether, as using safespots is much easier, regardless of combat level. Sure why not? :
  17. Good find, concise and easy to understand guide, I'm off to buy some soul runes! : I like the sig, Mage man :D except I sound like a noob :?
  18. Did you use the void setup? Or did you use armadyl/black d hide? Decent loot for a 6:30 trip. Like you said, it definitely depends on range level. I'm currently trying to do 100 trips to get an average loot per trip/time per trip. There's no way to tell a player exactly how much profit or xp per hour they will get. Very helpful though, thank you! :D
  19. You're definitely right that they don't damage you much (no need for food really), but the reason I say there is need for defense is that even if they do 1 damage they disease you. You want them to keep hitting 0s, death is not a concern here. I get hit at least 3 times a trip with 82 defense with the torags setup. Maybe I'm just unlucky?
  20. I agree, I do take the gold charms. 1 inventory space sacrificed is not a big deal. Safespots take out a need for tanking, at no real cost except the accumulator doesn't function, you could do it anyway I suppose. I like the altar idea, I'll add this. And I also remember one time not getting an ogre key, but it's probably a 99% chance, this happened to me once (out of 600+ kills), thanks for pointing this out. Great feedback! Thanks! :
  21. It was a good suggestion, lxindor. I had seen this bracelet in the KBase (I was coincidentally looking for the bonuses a c-wars brace gave, and it caught my attention), and had meant to test it, but Aslan helps me out yet again (thank you very much : ). I'll probably add to the guide that its bonus versus disease is negligable, and it is much easier to buy a relicym's balm from the Ogre store outside the tombs.
  22. Late reply to your last statement, sorry: I checked out the thread on truthscape, he claims 44k range xp in 2 hours. I have been getting significantly higher numbers of xp and loot money (I also have a higher range level  ) It gives me an idea to post the possible prayer rewards if anyone decided to use the bones with a gilded altar rather than to sell them. I'll go calculate that too, waiting for the weekend again :? .
  23. I was being serious, if you were talking to me. The revenant knight should have had a max hit of at least 40 (30, lol?). However, with PvP updates I expect they won't be paid attention to as much as before. Revenant dragon should have hit 50+ tbh. I made a thread on the RSOF suggesting lots of rev improvements, it probably won't happen though, with PvP released.
  24. HAHA. I hope he was joking , that was pretty funny though : . Anyway, here's a conversation I had with a level 65 passing by. I was training stun on the Zamorak mage in Varrock Castle. I was wearing full iron with mud battlestaff. Noob: wht wep is that? Me: Mud Battlestaff, it gives unlimited earth/water runes. Noob: i thot staffs were a stick with a color on top Me: this one is different I guess Noob: nah its prob a glitch, u should report it Me: no I'm 100% sure it's not a glitch ~~extremely awkward pause for 20 seconds  :-s ~~ Noob: lawl why the full iron, u look liek a noob Me: it helps for training stun efficiently Noob: lawl?? melee armor gives negative mage bonus noob, ur 110 u should no tht Me: :wall: :wall: :wall: I want the spell to fail so I can keep casting it Noob: just use auto cast then u dont have to click as much, read the kbase Me: you can't autocast stun Noob: yes u can u need a staff i think tho Me: :wall: :wall: :wall: This is a staff.... Noob: whats it called again? I logged out. Had to eat dinner anyway :( Sure he could have not known about the fact that you can't cast 2 successful stuns in a row, but the other stuff isn't very excusable
