Hi all! I'm using Duradel for slayer and I was wondering what tasks do you think are ideal to block. My stats are below: All quests that unlock slayer monsters are completed (like warped terroribirds, etc.) 72 Slayer 83 Attack 84 Hitpoints 79 Strength 82 Defense 70 Prayer 82 Range 80 Magic 62 Summoning Thanks! :

It is funny that some people will instantly respect a person who claims they have played for x years. Maybe they should look at levels or quest points or just plain personality for their respectability.

Revenants are very underpowered to be honest with you guys, they need serious updates to their abilities. I wish clan wars and bounty hunter didn't take up half of the wilderness, I miss the old areas that used to be there (the skeleton pits, poison woods, etc.), now clan wars and bh clutter it. :x I've easily survived with only 82 defense and little armor a surprise attack by 3 knights and 2 orks. Multicombat. Was carrying minimal food (I was doing a level 3 clue and got piled at CE wild portal). Around 60 damage taken in total. TBH, they should have k0ed me instantly. Since when do 3 126s, and 2 105s fail so badly? :lol:

Do the barbarian fishing method until maybe 90-92 fishing, and either continue doing that, or fish sharks/monkfish for profit and xp.

They aren't in high demand, which may affect their position on lending spirit shields. Spirit shields have dropped from 400k to 50k :shock: The Arcane, Spectral, Elysian, and Divine shields should be lendable imo, but they might want to preserve their rarity. What would players charge to lend out such an item? So much junk would be consumed.

They are used in less amounts than other elemental runes, mainly because of the fire staff's many uses. Fire Wave uses more fire runes than air, so people might use the fire staff. Fire staffs are used in alching, super heat, etc. Only time anyone uses fire runes is in combat spells (other than fire wave), and quick alching at gw or other combat areas. I think they aren't junk, it just has low demand.

Slayer is very good at this level! If you can afford it, try prayer at dagannoths in the lighthouse dungeon. I have 82 defense and get hit very little without prayer, so idk if prayer is necessary for you, maybe just take lots of food?

Thanks Big : , I agree. I like the big bone idea, some special way of accessing this boss should be added.

You have three options : : 1. Take proselyte/initiate/monks robes with black mask and whip, with prayer potions and antidragon shield. With decent stats they can be killed quickly. 2. Range or Mage from a distance. Bring many antifire potions, along with an antidragon shield. If maging, wear robes and use a chaos spell with chaos gauntlets, or whatever other spell you like. If ranging, use a rune crossbow with emerald (e) bolts. 3. Cancel the task or block it. I don't agree with doing this, they aren't that hard to kill and 66 is not a very long assignment. P.S. Do this task in the chaos tunnels, there are no annoying wild dogs there -.-

I like this idea, it would give F2P players a taste of what God Wars, and other tough boss fights can be like. One thing though, I can't stand looking at the picture of the dungeon. ;) I made a similar image myself, if you want to use it please give me credit! Image Below:

Great guide! : Is this what they call the "eastern" method? I see lots of posts in the team sticky saying: we are using the eastern method, etc. etc.

This is a great guide for players just starting out, otherwise there are many better/more efficient ways to gain prayer levels. And I agree with the above, use the feathers for fishing ;)

So I decided to try out Tormented Wraiths for a little while. Luckily I found an empty world, and after only 9 kills I got a Spirit Shield! Free 400k at the time, and I decided to kill a few more before going to the GE, and on the 14th kill I got yet another free 400k :D Except they didn't sell until the price dropped to 300k ea -.- Picture Below:

Free godsword/28m. Okay, I did spend a bunch of cash on supplies. Free 27m ;) I tele'd before I even thought to take a screenshot, I was so excited. But here's a pic of me selling on the grand exchange. Now it's dropped all the way to 21-23m (I'm glad I got this drop back then). :?

(I actually read this many times and didn't comment) It seems odd that initially your received negative feedback from this guide. :( :( Personally, this is an amusing guide and I might try some of the methods, as I detest autoers in every way. Thanks for writing this up! :)
