And how should we react? If your country would have been bombed by rockets for the past 8 years, what would you have done? You can't talk to them, they don't want to. Even during cease fires the shoot rockets at us. You got no idea what you're talking about you haven't lived here (or in Gaza) for the past years. News reporters don't broadcast exact feelings.

Most of you probably don't know this, but my cousin is there, and every time a few minutes before they bomb a house they grab the children in the house, take them out and protect them. Things their parents certainly don't do. And they do try to help the injured, but why would you see that on the news? It's Al-Jazeera.

Actually the rocket attacks have decreased a bit, 10-20 less a day than it was before. Not that it's much of difference, 30-40 instead of 50-60 each day. :roll: And the moves are very justified, people in Sderot couldn't leave their homes for the past 8 years, does that seem right to you?

Yes, the IDF even warned the people in the same building as him to get out, but he didn't let them... Or something like that :-k .

@Magekillr Nobody likes the Palestinians, nobody wants to deal with them. They're outcasts in the middle east. A few years ago they crossed the border to Egypt I think and 200 of them were shot and killed. They've been thrown out of countries for years, why should it be different here?

They shot about 30 a day for the past year or two. I got no physical proof, i just witnessed and watched the news. And btw, even the Egyptians are saying it's the Palestinians fault.

Do you know how many people in Israel died in the days following the renunciation of the cease fire? Was it anywhere near 320, 30 of whom children, as is the current UN estimate? That's because they put their military bases in the middle of a city and they probably don't even have bomb shelters. We have rooms built to withstand rockets in every house. The civilians just can't protect themselves. Yes, but that's unrelated, we got conquered the gaza strip in 1967.

No... The Europeans didn't give us the gaza strip, we conquered it in the 6 day war in 1967. And I can argue that it was our lands before that.

To anyone who said they were hardly bombing us before this, you are completely wrong. For the past years people can't even leave their homes in fear of getting killed by a rocket, that's why we attacked. Our government gave the Palestinians the Gaza strip to try and achieve more peace, but all we got is rockets flying towards us. And it's not as if we're targeting universities and such, we're targeting smuggling tunnels and hamas bases. I do think this is a bit extreme though.

Here in Israel you have to join the army, but hardly anyone complains. People actually look forward to it, and like it. I think that if it wouldn't have been like that, Israel won't even exist :\
