  1. Yeah just a CMS behind it, and some filtering stuff on the user-side. Right now there's no real need for filtering as pretty much everything is t-shirt designs, but I have a butload of other stuff to upload as well. Perhaps even some colour-oriented filtering, like "show me all GREEN stuff", and then all the stuff I tagged with green show up. Mainly PHP, yes. Perhaps some ajax stuff a mate is working on right now, gotta check that out.
  2. Yeah let's hope so. Gonna make sure I get as much right as I can before I launch it though, so it'll be a while. Couple months. It's a fun project to work on.
  3. Haha thanks. The line I'm gonna start is geared more towards robots and odd creatures and creations.
  4. Not an active one. I just use my personal site, which is going to get a big upgrade in about a month. Just building a new system. It'll be clearer when it's done, so you'll notice the face better.
  5. The volcano and the thing under it are one. It's an upside down 'creature'. It's pooping. xD Perhaps flip it, or tilt your head you'll see what I mean.
  6. New stuff guys :D Also, I recieved the check for Farewell Midgard today :D Hooray!
  7. Recieved my Hungry Hungry Robot in the mail today. It is awesomely perfect! Amazing colours, just like I pictures em. Anyone else who got this shirt? I'm really pleased with it. Thinking about submitting Noise Pollution to Teefury too. Might not bring in a whole load of cash, but it gets it printed, and I keep all rights, so I could use it in the future for one of my starter shirts of my own line. To be continued... ;)
  8. Anything specific graphicswise or codingwise you need right now? Add me on xfire, when you get the time.
  9. Anyone who wants to, add me on xfire, dementedhero is my name.
  10. I'm not on MSN that much, I don't really use it. Any chance you have xfire?
  11. Sounds like a fun project. I don't have a whole lot of time, but I do have some I can spend on random stuff, which could be this. I could do pretty much everything you need, apart from music. I can code some actionscript, I can go graphics, or I could think up new idea's. But you should know, after my vacation is over, I gotta get back to my internship and finish stuff up, which is gonna take up all my time. But hey, games are fun. Also just wondering, how much of the MMO engine do you have done? Because right now I just see a basic platformer. Are you gonna use Flash Media Server or something alike? Sorted out any of the interaction stuff of players?
  12. Hahahaha what?! xD Seriously, as Littleboy said, if you want a proper vector program, use Illustrator or inkscape. But Photoshop is fine if you just want to mess around with the pentool. About the art. It's not bad, but in places very very square. You got the basics down, but your shading needs some practice. Try to start at the edges. Define a lightsource, and start shading from there. Try and imagine where the light will hit, and where the light will most definitly not hit. Define volume. Right now you have small little bits of shadow. This piece could be a lot more epic if you used more dramatic lighting and shading. Also try to get things a bit smoother. Like the painting and the glass window (that's what it is, right?). Get some curves in there. Right now it looks like a rushjob, just like click click click click and here we go, it's a guy.
  13. Midgard isn't gonna be up for quite a while, takes a while at threadless, so don't worry ;)
  14. Thanks guys. Venomai, you have a point. There's a lot of distracting details to this thing, but that was sort of the point, to make it more than just the text on the poster, give em something to look at. Decided I didn't wanna go for an arty poster where text/info is secondary to the art, don't think the guys who asked me to do this would like it. I'm bookmarking that link by the way.
  15. Poster for a gig nearby. Basically a concert combined with circus stuff, like firebreathers and stuff. Gonna be printed as an A3 poster, and a A6 flyer. Oh, and I know there's some small errors in it. The decorative edge has some missing stuff in the topright corner, and some of the ribs of the skeleton dont have shading. But hey, I'll fix that later.
  16. I don't really like the typography you got going there. It's just not working. It doesn't look good. The whole flipped and rotated text thing. The text on the left is fine, looks decent. The rest messes it up. I don't know what to advise, perhaps study some real good works of typography, see what they did to make it work. Give it something more. Perhaps a really subtle wall the camera is mounted to, and add the text in perspective. It'll still be a work of typography, but a bit more original and good looking compared to rotated and flipped text.
  17. Yeah, in Guys 2XL. They don't stock a whole lot of the huge sizes.
  18. Iceberg is up there already. The robot one will be on teefury.com The viking one will be on threadless in roughly 10 weeks, they tell me. Could be sooner, could be a bit later. Threadless hard to navigate? Really? They keep pretty decent stock I think, you can check it out by going to your cart, change the number of shirts you want to like 5000, and the error message will tell you how many they have left in stock of that shirt, in that size.
  19. Hey guys. Another shirt you'll be able to while in a long while. HECK YEAH!
  20. You don't know how to shade in Illustrator? You started it on the bubbles. Highlight is the same idea as shading. Just draw shapes where you want the shadow, don't use too many shades, I'd say either 1 or 2 for the shading, the more colours, the more expensive it'll be to produce. How do I read the text? Reewk? Rekew? Would you wear this, in all honesty? As Ouchy said, what's your target group? Cute can be good, but this is, in my honest and perhaps blunt opinion, quite childish. Work on it some more, refine refine refine. It's a bit sloppy at the moment. The bubbles are all perfect, and highlighted the same way. Copy-pasted and rotated. Get some variation in there. Designing shirts is awesome, but you should really ask yourself before producing something if people will actually wear it. Perhaps send it to some people in your target audience, see what they think, if they don't like it, you're doing something wrong. Either you have the wrong targetgroup for your designs, or you have the wrong designs for your targetgroup.
  21. Yep. But it seems to have completely died by now. Are we gonna call this dead or is there an attempt to revive it?
  22. Why is it that everyone who tries a 'vector-style' sig, uses either the arrowbrushes, or the circle-shape brushes.
  23. I draw, and paint, mainly acrylics. Don't paint all that often though, but when I do, I love it. And ofcourse Vector. I've tried pretty much every form of digital art out there, and this one suited me the most, so I stuck with it.
  24. Just annoy the people who haven't sent in their sigs yet, with like a daily pm. That'll teach em either to enter something, or to drop out. That way, the people who really do want to make this happen will stay in the tournament, and the people who kinda slack off or just don't have enough time, will drop out.
