135 million doesn't sound too legitimate. I saw it too and thought that Jagex was tallying every accounts created regardless of whether they might of been created by bots and non-human programs. AFAIK, the wiki estimates that 10 million accounts are active so minus all the users with multiple accounts would leave to be around 9-9.5 million people. idk what other sources might be more reliable though.

I would recommend sniping the sigil instead of the actual sheild? since they update everyday, it would be more than possible to get one. Also, consider that CS drops will sell automatically for mid to the first offer which means you might save a little money when you successfully snipe one.

Yeah that's what I'm kind of concerned about the bus, but I heard that there are buses that skip several passes that others have to go through which might save time and I am applying for a student pass if its feasible with my grades and academics. >.>

I finished Highschool about a month ago and I recently applied to a college thats relatively far from my home....Fortunately, I was able to pass my driving test and my dad is willing to give me his car. I don't know if its worth having to drive to college everyday because of gas, insurance, and the risk of having an accident, etc. On the other hand, I looked up bus routes and found out that it takes 5 bus trips to get from home to college and then back. So considering that a bus trip is $1.50 each, which is about $7.50 a day, its a lot cheaper than driving a car.... Now I gotta ask, why are so many driving to college instead of taking the bus? The ups and downs are debatable but I find the bus to be a lot cheaper and more affordable. :?

I can't see any purpose of them going up to where they previously were before again since more shields comes in the market everyday. Also, don't forgot that elysian and divine upgrades tremendously (approximiately 20-25m per update). So when that happens a few more times, I can see that they might drop to a point where the GE starts selling them. So far, you've got 2 options: one would be to camp at the GE and wait for edibles to update. The main prize would be the pumpkin which many consider it to be the currency to buy partyhats. Once you get a few of those, you might stand a chance of buying a purple for about 3 pumpkins. second would be to snipe the partyhat itself. Theres a significantly less chance that you will succeed in getting one but it does work (just takes a lot of patience) and the good side is that it updates more constantly than edibles. I've gotten a purple this way and worked my way up to green so don't hesitate to try this step.

i kind of have to agree with jayreape....it sounded like you bothered him by talking too much. Except he was extremely rude about it? he was having a bad day with drops? it can get extremely frustrating and definitely not a good time to engage in conversations.

It was completely unnecessary of how they handled it. unlike the wilderness removal, there could have been better solutions to change the rock climbing boots and the fact that players have benefited from this update is no different than players exploiting the update to gain unfair money. So in theory, they were being very hypocritical. As somebody else stated, its too easy to lose respect compared to gaining it and I feel like they haven't earn my respect rather they lost it instead because of how they handle updates. I played since 2004 and I got to admit that Jagex have done significantly better than now. Forgive me for totally contradicting this topic but I think Jagex would have been better off if Andrew had kept his position as CEO rather than MMG.

Not long ago, Divine easily went for a Red hat, if not close to a White. Now it's either worth a Yellow, or something between Purple and Yellow. Of course, that might just mean Phats went up. And you could always try your luck at Corp, my Divine was an FFA drop. I'm pretty sure partyhats went up. SS stayed the same price so that may be the reason why divines costs so low.

On the scam (sorry for clogging the topic with it): I read the rules and it says item scamming is against the rules. Can I ask my pmod friend to mute them and report them to Jagex? I also got a pic of us doing the partyhat trade. umm, if Jagex had the knowledge of current street prices, they might take action, but since you were trading your partyhat + something for something, it will look legitimate enough to not have any offences marked. No harm in trying though. First, write them a letter with a hundred dollar bill inside. Then go to the actual jagex head quarters. Show them your evidence etc. They can check the trade logs, chat logs, everything. Bring more hundred dollar bills tho. After enough hundred dollar bills, BOOM purple partyhat. Maybe a blue if you give them enough :P I'm completely serious. LOL. :P

lol at all the stupid dungeon req suggestions. defenders have no relevance to dungeonerring whatsoever and a lot of players would be ranting all over again because they're too lazy to train the skill. i'm leaning towards a quest req that has some connection to the warrior's guild. the requirements to do the quest however, raises some interesting debate on whether it would be accessible for lower lvls. 10 hours is pretty long considering that it only degrades in combat.

I find it terribly inaccurate, 2h, and I don't do a lot of hallying even though I still have one. The good side is that its cheap (I got mine purely from lending my phat and saved the dough to buy one). Its considerable at sw avatars and high end bosses. I've also noticed that no monsters known drops it, which is kind of a bummer because it won't be as easy to buy from the GE compared to other d weapons.

Lent it to a "friend" for avatar picture? No much more stupid, it was a 2 person scam. One started talking to me how he would sell his red phat to me for a bunch of masks (1.5B worth) cause he was leaving for a month and expected them to rise much more than his phat in the mean time. I happened to have nearly enough, but he needed 5 more. I only had 300m cash and my phat left. I ended up trusting some random (but in the end not so random) guy for the last few masks (my pha and cash for masks, horrible trade) I needed after a LOONG time, cause of course I was very hesistant to do trust trades. But he was very good in it, and showed me a half whine etc telling me he has enough to scam a simple purple out of me (he promised me to sell it back if the red phat guy wouldn't do his trade). The guy with the red had to get members to sell some stuff he had to get cash to make up the trade, and I left to watch some football. Now I'm back, and he's not online, no problem you would say, but then I see a forum thread by him where he is selling a half wine and a yellow phat, and where he says he has some masks too. Now these are exactly the items that the other guy (who I sold my purple to) showed me. Can't be a coincidence. Damn, when I'm reading this myself, I can't believe I fell for it. Greed turned me into an idiot -.- There names are I tennis and Matrix usa, beware. I think they are brothers. so if they're brothers, I'm assuming that the red phat guy had much less than the other who showed you half wine + yellow correct? I think the reason why he would bother to scam you is because the red phat person was probably hungry for street prices and got his brother involved in it. I'm starting to <3 the rare market community. honestly.... and if I recall, I think one of them was a victim to a phat lure...looks like karma got it back for him, but only made it worse.
