Yes I did. they said that zeros are boring, Runescape needs challeges yade yada. Well, I don't agree with that since you still hit a lot of zeros and the fact that runescape is already too easy because of their repetitious changes that are catering to non-gamers. AND THIS obviously, is the reason why I do not like Jagex anymore. I am clearly being the only "negative" here so it is normal for you guys to flame at me. so yeah, flame away people. This is how the internet survives!

First, less then 24 hours is not enough time. For anyone. Even if you had been playing since release. Second, I don't have issues with you. I have issues with your moronic attitude towards an update you obviously haven't read into as well as you think you have. I've read the update and all that jazz, and i think its completely irrelevent to the fact that you have the change all this and that for no specific cause other than to (which i think) meet the criteria for modern RPGs like i've said before.

I don't see a legitimate reason of why they had to change Hitpoints. it was fine, nobody had problems with it, and everything was fine and dandy. I don't see how this sudden dramatic change is going to benefit anything. I think Jagex is only getting pressured into changing Runescape so that it could fit the criteria of other modern MMPORPGs and their first step happened to add a 0 into every [cabbage] we hit on. WOW JAGEX THAT WAS SO FREAKIN' BRILLIANT! WE SO NEEDED THIS UPDATE!!! :roll: I played Runescape because it was Runescape. Now it just feels like any other RPGs where everything is in 3-4 digits. I can't ever believe that they would implement such a disappointing update. I'm just about ready to stop spending even one cent in this cruddy peice of [cabbage] company called Jagex. Good bye and I hope you have fun with your new generation of pre adolescent players. This isn't youscape this is runescape... they are not making the game for you... they are making it to become more popular to get more money. They are a company, it is there job to maximize profit and if it shows that higher hits attracts more plays then they will do it. I find it hard to believe you have not noticed this trend with all gaming outlets. Gaming company's care less about the actual true gamers and more about the general gamer. There is little to no money making your game to a specific type of gamer. Everything is becoming generic and money related since the generic gamer these days are spoiled kids who don't like a challenge and want rewards handed out to them for doing nothing. this can be seen threw achievements gotten by completing a level in a game or by just buying something. There is nothing you can do if you don't like it and by quitting something you invested time and money into because of something so little just makes you sound like a child who didn't get his way so he left. you're right. but there are still plenty of people who do not agree with the update and are leaving just how I am. WhY? because their scheme of making money doesn't constitute changing the game that we love to play into...something else. theretically speaking, I think that people are too insecured to follow their true opinions about the update so they're only decision is to follow it so you guys don't end up like me where you're getting flamed everywhere from left to right. chances of coming back are quite slim. I forgot to mention that the part of the reason why i'm quitting is because of graduation and of course, going to a college where my tuition is 48,000 bucks...so yeah. i might not come back in 6 months or maybe 2 years, but who knows... If i pick something else to substitute runescape, it'll just recreate the problem so I don't want that. Besides, all gaming companys seem to be in a slump right now (especially Nintendo..) @Campbell, i like the idea of messing around with your pure acc, but what I really want is to quit this game/content entirely without having problems about it.

Okay so they introduced a new update call constitution w/e. so basically i am really ticked off at Jagex for "ruining" this game so I wanna leave runescape for good. for you psychiatrists out there, I need a compromise. I need a good reason why I should quit this game. Please don't give me lame reasons like "b/c i need to get a life" and all that crap. I really enjoyed playing runescape but now I want to end it. The main reason why I haven't quitted yet is because runescape is like my only talent. I am good at it and its the only thing I feel "god" in so I would really hate it to let that go and become someone that nobody knows...I have played runescape for 5 years and I was planning on making it a legacy. I wanted runescape to become a part of me that everyone knows but now I know thats not possible anymore. I really want to quit without feeling "any" regrets whatsoever. Alright now that we got through all that junk, here are my details if it'll help. rs details -I played for 328 days STRAIGHT. -I played since 13 (18 now) -none of my irl friends play -my total is 2039 -my bank net worth is 450M+ irl details -i get sucky grades (3.5 GPA avg) -i suck at sports -i have no friends (aka: loner) -im an introvert

despite what i said earlier, if i knew this glitch i would of "cheated" so that i could get a ban and finally be able to quit this game for good. :razz: even if i got away with it...well than i would have a few more mill with me. its no suprising people were taking advantage of this. cmon, i mean...50m an HOUR? isn't it human nature to take such advantage regardless of breaking a rule?

They should not have implemented this. it would stimulate the amount of 99s people would have. in addition, many would simply wait until the exp weekend to skill and once thats over, they'll wait until the next exp weekend and skill again. and thus, destroying the whole purpose of skilling by self sufficiency. all gone. i'm at the verge of quitting this game. this is unbelievable... after spending like 2/3rd of my bank for 99 con....i doubt it will be worth it again. i can sum up this poor excuse of an idea in three words: f*ck you, Jagex.

i have every respect for this skill since i'm majoring in culinary arts (IRL). so GJ. :thumbup:

A group of players completely bought them out on the ge, as far as I know it was the first successful santa buyout since the ge came out. I wouldn't call it a buy out. It was more like an attempt to merchant. I was easily able to get hold of 4 santas from the GE by putting them at max after they started rising. they're not completely bought out. i still see in RSOF there are plenty of players selling patches of 20, 30, or 40 santas at once for partyhats and edibles.

the bonus exp day reminds me of maplestory. :P

they're new. with no uses and stat bonuses...its the only thing that is keeping its street price sky high.
