  1. Audience of One - Rise Against. :( Where have my friends gone? I miss them.
  2. He looted it from his kill, got rushed, and died.
  3. 296k DPH, and 665 per dart, more expensive then Hand cannon shots, and like 100k Tokkul instead of 120k? Might just use Dragon darts, could be cheaper after taking cannon breakage into consideration? Either way, do you think that the Gems, Onyx tips, and Obsidian drops will pay for the darts?
  4. 296k DPH, and 665 per dart, more expensive then Hand cannon shots, and like 100k Tokkul instead of 120k? Might just use Dragon darts, could be cheaper after taking cannon breakage into consideration :P
  5. The only problem with Rune knifes is that they are like 1850gp per, I can't check the exact, I'm at school. Hand cannon shots are 197 each IIR, which is very cheap. The only problem I have with the Hand cannon is that I only have 75 fm, so wouldn't it break too much? Leaving Adamant darts as the best option? Also, I used the 160 Defense value for each, as I doubt it's more then that, but we know it's over 85 or whatever due to Turmoil. Whip was 310k DPH, Rune darts were 236k DPH, so I can imagine Adamant darts would be around 206k DPH. That's 2/3 of a Whip or hand cannon, which would be 70-80k Tokkul an hour, 100-120k for a Hand cannon/Whip. Gonna check Karils x bow right now, but I doubt it will even compair.
  6. According to Grimys calculations, the Hand cannon has, by far, the highest DPS. Rune darts were around 236k dps / hour, so Adamant should be somewhere around 200k+ or 1/3 the DPS of a whip, so I can assume 80k Tokkul per hour? Or 120k an hour with the Hand cannon?
  7. It's a personal goal, honestly. Nothing will stop me from getting it. And I promise, range hits a LOT more often. Lets assume the Iron titan does in fact deal 1/4 damage, and now I'm using Adamant darts (+10 strength) or Broad bolts (+100 strength), can you calculate some rough estimates?
  8. I'd assume the titan does 1/6-1/10th of the damage. I'm using Iron knifes, that's why the bonuses are so weird, because knifes are the best DPS for low defense monsters; Tzhaar are very low defense monsters, especially to range, it's virtually 0. But 60k+ Tokkul an hour is a LOT slower then I thought it would be :x I'd estimate my melee accuracy to be near 80-85%, and I'm fairly positive that range is near 95% if not more, they really do have [cabbage] range defense.
  9. What is this? I don't even...
  10. That didn't help, sorry =/ That's NOT the DPS formula, and yes, there are figures for Tokkul/hour, as the chance of getting the drop is a percentage, and the # of Tokkul is randomly between 200-1800, or something like that. There is most definitely a way to calculate the AVERAGE Tokkul per hour. It's a numbers game. Also, I said I was using protect from melee, not hiding behind the sulfur vents. If I actually took the time to safe-spot them then I'd probably cut my speed down to around 75%.
  11. I'm curious as to how much Tokkul I can earn per hour using ranged. I'll be using Void ranged helm, Armadyl chestplate, Void executioner legs, Void knight deflector, Void knight gloves, Iron knives, Ava's accumulator, Amulet of ranging, Ranger boots, and an Archers ring (i). Using this setup I'll have +73 range bonus and +4 range strength. I'll also be using Range pots, Protect from melee, Eagle eye, and an Iron titan with Iron within scrolls. If you don't know exactly how much I can get per hour with ranged, then can you give a guestimate? I get 100-120k per hour with a Maxed melee setup with a Whip, Piety, Super sets, and an Iron titan with Iron within scrolls. I think if you calculate the DPS with my melee setup, and use 110k Tokkul for that DPS, and then find the DPS with my range, just take the % of Tokkul equivalent to the % dps compared to melee, you can figure out how much Tokkul I'll be getting per hour? Only problem is: I don't know the DPS formula, and I know some others can figure it out a lot faster than me.
  12. Got my deflector, lol, so I guess I just added 25 more range accuracy to my setup.
  13. I feel special starting a topic that got you 1k ;D To the other two, 30k isn't much, but it's not 30k, it's 90k. I will have payed 30k to loose rank, 30k to get it back to what it was, and another 30k to get the payed for rank. Also, time is money, and it takes a while to pay up to 1250. I'm at like 1100 or so atm. Back to what Quyneax was saying, rune darts look good when they're stable, which seems to be at like 200-300gp each, but there 375 a pop atm, and rising very very fast. The only way I'd use them is if the onyx bolt tips, gem's, and obsidian drops would pay for the darts, pots, and scrolls. I keep hearing hand cannon has very high dps, too? I know broads do, as-well, but I do believe that even Iron knifes beat them on low def monsters. I'm looking at dragon darts at the moment, 633 a pop, stable, but once again, will the drops pay for the pots/darts/scrolls? Addy darts are 107 each, stable, same rules apply. Hand cannon shots are less than 200 each, also.
  14. Another question: What's the highest dps range weapon for low defense monsters? Iron knifes are amazing, obviously. But would broads actually be higher dps, what about dragon darts? Bolt racks? Hand cannon?
  15. And then once they take your 30k you they take your rank? How do I know that they will actually let me win?
  16. I don't have a deflector due to the fact that I cannot play Conquest to save my life. I would consider getting one, I just need to know how, because 250 ranks seems nearly impossible to me, might even be 300+ at this point for all I know. If I don't choose to get a deflector, I'd use Void executioner chest + Unholy book. Another thing I need to keep in mind, I'd only have +5 prayer bonus with your suggested void setup, whereas I'd have +13 with mine. But the trade-off would be 48 -> 73 range bonus. I would use 14 prayer pots per hour with my setup, and 17 with your setup. That's not a huge difference, at all, and I'm fine with it. But still, it's too much work to get the deflector if you ask me. =/
  17. I'm pretty sure the Maul destroys everything at sara, hands down. I'd go with the maul, personally.
  18. I'm currently farming Tokkul (It's a personal goal, always has been, and with where I'm at in game, it's the perfect chance to get it) with melee, using super attacks and strengths, maxed void with a whip, piety and melee pray, using an Iron + scrolls. I'm getting 100-120k tokkul an hour. I'm curious as to how much Tokkul I can get per hour using maxed (elite) Void or Armadyl range with Iron knifes (I don't believe there is a better alternative weapon for monsters with such low defense?), I would pray melee, use eagle eye, use range pots, and an Iron titan + scrolls. I'm pretty sure Void is the best way to do this, as you almost already hit Tzhaar creatures every time, and Void gives a damage boost, I'm just looking for feedback. Also, is it even worth it to use an Iron titan? I'm not sure if it makes THAT much of a difference, and it's quite a hassle to use. Lastly, I'm at 1,428,126 / 2,700,000 Tokkul, does anyone know how much range experience I'd get from collecting the last 1,271,874 Tokkul? If there's anything I'm missing that I should know, then... let me know! Thanks in advance! :^_^:
  19. Did you even put scrolls in the helmet in the first place? And how in the hell didn't you beat it on try one..? Z spear, stab, borrow claws/bgs, wear karils, pro melee, 3:1 brew:rest, tort with more brews/rests, you should have NO problem killing him. I killed him at my current levels and never even had to touch my yak's supplies. I don't have extremes, I don't have turmoil, and I don't have a steel titan, and I don't have a CRapier. Edit: You have Overloads and you still can't beat him? If you haven't beaten him by now I don't think you ever will.
  20. I open every door I can withot boosts, kill everything unless I'm feeling lazy and I can always finish them in under 25 minutes, even if I slack qiite a bit.
  21. Yeah, I ment mediums lol, i was tired :P Typo, iTouch, my bad, again! :x
  22. Yeah, I meantvmesiums lol, i was tired :P
  23. I solo, and I c1 1-30 smalls, once I hit 31 I c6 medium rush. My strategy is basically rush everything under max-10. So once I'm 43 prestige, for example, I'll do floors 34-43 large rushes, which would be the top 10 floors. It's easy, fast, and very fun to make time trials for yourself, try to beat your records. I've heard 4- minutes per c1 small + switching time to next dungeon is a good goal to shoot for, and so is 16-18 minute mediums. I'm at like 4.5 and 22 atm, slowly cutting time off.
  24. I'm not sure the exact number, but I think it's 3.6k? You make 3.6k supplies for OVL's ASAP, and then you make 3.6k OVL's and you'll be at 99 herblore with a lifetime supply of them. I'm personally going to use this method, but I'll be making somewhere around 1k+ super antifire's and 2-3k spec restores before making extremes/OVL's, which I highly recommend as super antifires and spec restores are extremely useful.

It boosts your defense by 25%, not ranged defense. Which, depending on how the range/mage defense calculations work, I can't remember, will give a 17.5% range defense bonus or a 7.5% range defense bonus. (I can't remember if Ranged defense is calculated with 70% range level and 30% defense or vise versa?) Er, MAGE is the combat skill that takes itself into account for defence against it. Pretty sure melee/range def just depends on your def level. I'm 110% positive that it's both range and mage..
