Bots are making a come-back
ever think that less bots would actually lower inflation? The shortage of raw materials means a shortage of finished products which would also mean a decrease in cash from alchers. The shortage of finished products also means pkers have to skill more to get gear for their next pk run which means less cash coming in from statues. I really don't know what to say.. the post is so crappy. Let's start off with Supply and Demand, when there is a low supply of said item, but there is a high demand for said item, the price will go up. What about Alchers? They don't really de-value our money. Player-Killers skilling? LOL. Only thing I will agree on is that statues need to be fixed. It took me a couple of reads to understand your post, please use good English when replying to me from now on. Thanks. Inflation is caused when an excess of currency is introduced into a market and causes products to cost more because the currencey loses its value correct? So how does slowing the cash from alchers and statues not slow inflation since there would be a decrease in cash coming into the market. Supply and demand would cause things to rise for a time, but thats how the market is supposed to work. Lower and med level players would begin to train on whatever makes the best cash, yews drags, ect. and cause that product to decrease in value as supply goes up. Until they move on to the next.

israeli soldiers kill 9 in international waters
here are the real facts True but israel is not helping matters at all. If you are forced out of your home and watch it bulldozed in front of you are you just gonna go oh well israel has a right to defend itself. Or if you get carpet bombed and have white phosforus used against you ( a chemical which in some cases is even worse then napalm). Israel may not have started the violence but these disproportionat responces are doing nothing to lessen it. True, but they are the elected leaders. Support for hamas would end if israel actually gave the palastinians a better alternative. Starving and bombing them will just keep increaseing hamas's support as more people begin to hate israel. And israel's overzealous responces will just make more people want payback. Yes because colouring books can be used to make missles right? I'm getting tired of people quoting this. The actual deal was to send any humanitarian aid to gaza which was not on their banned items list. Which is a great chunk of what that convoy was carrying. do some research for yourself instead of just quoting party lines. research how much aid israel sends into gaza and what they don't allow in then get back to us. There is also reports that the commandos launched tear gas onto the ship before boarding and that some of them hit and wounded several of the activists and that is what caused the agressive responce. what is also not shown in those videos is how the medical staff on board the ship was carring for both wounded commandos and activists alike and how once the ship was capured the medics were tied up and forced to watch at least one of their patients die because israeli medics never got on board in time. or even any footage of people getting shot in the back while they were running for their lives. ... israel still can't actually be trying to spin that can they? Or maby it is finally opening some peoples eyes to how low israel will actually sink to in the name of "security".

Most of the people on board were turkish arabs, most of them would have been on deck for morning prayers. Turkish Arabs? Ignorance like that is why Western interventionism has greatly deteriorated the Middle East. Unless you mean Arabs who live in Turkey, which would be incorrect. Then would you care to correct and educate me instead of just railing against my education which sadly did not foccus on the distinct religons of the middle east?

Some of the people on board were muslim and would have been on the deck for their morning prayers when the Israeli's boarded.

Its more like a cop chasing someone who was "suspected" of dealing in contraband across the mexican border, shooting and killing him and then finding out after that he was innocent. And still expects a heros welcome when he gets home.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jun/01/israel-investigation-attack-gaza-flotilla-us U.S. once again proves to be Israel's lap dog. Israel will now be leading the investigation into the attack and i'm sure they'll do it in an unbiased way /sarcasm.

The one ship, MV Blue Mamara, was Turkish. NATO is meeting as we speak, or in the very near future, to discuss if Turkey will in fact invoke Article 5: an attack on one [in NATO] is an attack on all. I suspect not, though. Lemme quote a fellow Brit for you about this: http://www.alternet.org/story/147052/3_facts_you_need_to_know_about_the_israeli_attack_on_peace_activists_on_the_gaza_flotilla/ It would be interesting to see what happens if Turkey does invoke article 5. I can see 3 potential outcomes. 1) US sides with Israel and NATO eventually falls apart as member countries realise there really is no protection in the treaty as long as its in the united states's best interest to ignore it. 2) US sides with Turkey and forces Israel to publically admit it has nukes to get the female dogs to back off. Hopefully ends in israel signing the NPT and results in a halt to all aid from the US until they do in accordance with the simmington ammendment. 3) Or US remains neutral and israel is forced to officially admit it has nukes again and US is forced to side with Turkey or start another global arms race as people realise that the NPT has no teeth without the US's backing. would be interesting times if turkey ever did. But very unlikly to happen. Also waiting to see how Obama will deal with the 9 or so at last count american citizens who were detained with the rest of the activists.

Elemental Workshop IV and the Soul Altar
In regards to the alters: The death alter could have been destroyed by the elves to prevent the death guard from contacting their dark lord or from the cave in when the tunnel was collapsed. Blood alter could have been destroyed in the war of the barrows brothers. After all, they'd want to destroy something symbolic of the vampires. Nature could have been destroyed by the volcanoe on karamaja. cosmic and law i have no explanation for because i don't think the fairy god father would have wanted the cosmic alter destroyed. This threads got me thinking about the law alter.... Why law alter for the place where saradomin first set foot? Wasn't Armadyl thought of as the god of justice/law while saradomin is more of wisdom? In the temple of senntisten we learn how the saradominists stole artifacts of zaros and put their own markings on them and claimed them as their own. So might this be the same with the law alter? What if it was originally one of Armadyls strongholds, or the place where he first set talon, and when he left the world after the god wars the saradominites?? just moved in and the alter was destroyed when the avanasies were forced out?

israeli soldiers kill 9 in international waters
Thats where things get a little hinky for me. "IF" the Marnara did have weapons and if israel really did alert the ships that they were being borded then wouldn't they have used them instead of sticks and stones? From what i can tell they only used sticks and stones and a few small arms which makes me feel like they were surprised and whatever arms they did have on board were only for self defense. If out of the blue an armed helicopter starts droping armed soldiers onto your boat with guns pointed at you what would you do?

http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/05/31/gaza.protest/index.html for those who were following the fleet. What really erks me is that this was in international waters and of course the rest of the world is doing nothing as usual despite having members from 40 different countries on those ships.

Elemental Workshop IV and the Soul Altar
I wouldn't think the elf quests or lands considering they already have the death alter. Your forgetting the marrahajat ?? i can never remember that darn name. And how one of them must be sacrificed to rejuvinate the others. Screams more soul alter to me then the gnome quests.

Should Jagex start beta testing with players?
As the mod said, beta testers are pointless for games that usually only do small but rapid updates. Sure they might be able to adjust some content, like the activity feeling of dungeoneering, but as for actualy stopping bugs? Most of the beta testers would just be interested in trying out the new content and play as they would every day. This might get rid of some bugs but alot of bugs occur in unexpected situations. The pvp risk glitch where you could have items stored into a familiar and then log into a f2p world and safly risk cash for one. And i don't know if anyone els remembers one of the old QA interviews where they shared with us how they work. Each QA member gets a list of items to wear like mime mask with canfis body, with guthan's, with a godsord, ect. for every item in runescape. I can't remember if there were any other interviews that foccused on activities but i remember reading that if a major bug is found that they never considered before it gets added to the list to make sure that never happens again. This stops most bugs that normally happen. And not to mention the effect it would have on the ecoonomy as other people have said. If they beta test it might be weeks before the update is released as changes are made. Durring that time hoarders and merchants would grab up every single item related to that update that they could. It would take even longer for normal players to get certain items. Unlike how the market works today with only relativly short booms and busts after updates. And how will the beta testers be chosen? only high levels? skillers? pkers? each play the game differently and would like or dislike an update based on how they play. Whats better, having 1000 high levels test out a medium or low level quest or area and say that its to noob ect. when it is meant for lower levels. Or having the entire runescape population try out an update at once and get a more balanced view?

I fail
27k/hr for me. done alot of activities so i thought it would be alot lower.
