  1. implying that steel dragons are a bad task. only kiddies cant get a task of em done in <50 mins Without super-antis and decent (90+ attack) melees, these do take forever. ever tried maging them with an arcane stream? Miths are actually push overs now because of it.
  2. Time wise slayer "is" the best for xp. Spend several hours making money to spend several hours chinning for range to again spend several hours making money again, reapeat for herb, pray, summoning, mage and then combat. then in the end do slayer anyway. or just do slayer and get them all at once. Did we ever actually settle this debate in the debate forum before it got closed down? And most slayers like that i know love quests because we like varriety. its the campers who only go for the most effecient tasks that don't like quests because they feel they arn't worth the effort.
  3. I used to always lucid dream when i was younger. Never really tried to do it it just happened, but a few years ago it just stopped and i havn't actually rememberd any dream since then . Might try to induce one one day. I remember some crazy stuff going on in my head. Kind of afraid though since the last lucid dream i remember i couldn't actually force myslef awake and ended up trapped in a childs play movie for what seemed like hours.... although i do remember some fun things that might make it worth it

  5. If theres a coin drop and an item drop that i want i'll pick up both since i'm there anyway. i usually just leave coin only drops though.
  6. My opinion is that abortion should only be legal if the fetus/baby is a result of rape or if the baby has seriouse medical conditions, like baby k wasn't it? who was born without a brain, or if it poses a risk to the mothers life. the thing that i hate about the pro-choice argument is that you "chose" to have sex. You may have used birth control but you should have known that it isn't 100% full proof. You "chose" to take that risk when you sliped on the glove or took the pill. At then end of the day saying get rid of it after you excepted that risk just seems, how should i put it? irresponcible? I don't know how els to put it.
  7. Unless they perfected kryogenics 70 years ago and just forgot to tell the rest of the world.
  8. Used to be another thread like this a long time ago. Some funny but really, really dumb laws in it. Only one i can really remember correctly was that it was illegal for two minors to have sex without a guardian present. can't remember where that was.
  9. Makes super antis a good deal less useful then  damn progress... Rapier + rune defender would destroy them even faster... and if you have a massive stock of superantifires, why the heck not? Why not in general, rather? If you can use them, super antifires are basically free xp. Right now I'm camping for 50, forcing Shahdie to make me a proth spear and plate, and figuring stuff out from there. Is RSOF an okay way to find teams for a 120? I've heard it's decent, but most of the threads I see are for 130+ eh most good players of dungioneering wouldnt care ur combat lvl as long as u know what your doing =) and alot of 130s have crappy skills lol its funny they just wanna feel elite then go "omg this door need 82 farm" Imo big difference between 130-137 and 138 138s are generally more skilled and going for exp I never attach combat requirements to my teams and nor do my friends i dungion w/ hehe 138's can be even wors sometimes. Last team leader i had for a large was a 138 and he litterally flipped out that we were not killing every single monster on a large map and left when we were half way through.

It's only natural to want your child to be a part of you. People who adopt do so because they want children but don't mind if it's not their own genes. that explains the mothers side but not the fathers side. He's incapable of having children anyways, either way the father is going to be someone else. so then why not take someone out of the foster system rather then bring another life into the world?

Why not just adopt if they want a kid that bad?
  13. yes but isn't this a little extreme? Wouldn't it be better to use the carrot aproach instead of just jumping to the stick especially since they can't control what the children eat at home. Finding a sport that the kids love to play and having after school programs where they could play it would help keep kids much healthier then just a slap on the wrist everytime they bring candy to school.
  14. http://www.khou.com/news/Candy-Gets-Third-Grader-A-Weeks-Detention-93033319.html Remember the good old days when there were candy and soda machines in schools? And when playing outside durring recess you were actually aloud to have fun. How did we end up like this?
  15. So no one has considered that the person who did this might have just been an angry american who lost his home to the banks and just wants pay back? Why does everyone shout "terrorist!" everytime a pin drops these days.
  16. got booted just as i was finishing a 5 man large dungeon in daemonheim. all i get is the failure to connect message. Anyone know whats happening?
  17. actually been getting 4-5k fairly often with a 3 man team on small maps and i'm only in the lv 50's. will be interesting to see how much xp you can get a round when you get max prestige.
  18. I would have liked it if the bosses themselves would have a chance to give out the rewards. gluttenouse behometh- gem bags astea frostweb - tome of frost/necklace bulwark beas- coal bag skele horde- bone crusher and on and on Would have been much better this way but other then that i love the skill. And why are people so foccused on the bone crusher? Its good and all but am i the only one who sees the benefit from the gem bag, especially if it can hold uncut gems? would never have to drop food to pick up gems while slaying again.

Hmm...... Lets start with Agility. You can use it outside of the agility courses. It gives the rather nice benefit of recharging run faster and making it last longer. Those are very outside benefits. Firemaking. I agree, its pretty much worthless. Cape looks cool, and u get the adze at 92. Prayer. Soul split is worth it, when i can get it, i will. You make money using the prayer that spend money to get. Also, a requirement for most pro GWD teams is Turmoil. So you make huge money doing that. Cooking. Last I checked, you needed 80 for EE still. This alone gives reason to train the skill. And hmm, I don't really feel like being subject to the rise and fall of demand for pvp supplies. Especially during the summer when all the pkers are buying every shark they can get their hands on. Herblore. Extremes are amazing. Again, I know they pay for themselves, so I will be getting them when I have enough cash to do so. Till then, I'm gonna farm avantoe. Farming. You left this one out of your post completely. Easily 4m profit a week. Runecrafting. I would say that getting paid 400m to get 99 in this skill is a pretty big benefit that can be used in the outside world. Mining. A rare 99 to have, so it comes with alot of prestige. Rune mining is ~1m/hr profit. Smithing. Another prestige 99. More respect for a smith cape then a cook or fletch or str cape. Not actually that expensive compared to other skills. And finally, Dungeoneering. Lets go down with a team, go through all these rooms, fight a boss at the end, and earn these tokens that we can spend on levels, or some fun gear. Wait a minute, since when does a skill earn you tokens that you get to spend for xp or items. Wait a minute, that sounds like Barbarian assualt! or Soul wars! or Pest Control! or *gasp* Stealing Creation! When is Jagex gonna give me Level 99 Barbarian assualt! I've played enough of it............ You missed one at the end there. Slayer! Its strange that people are complaining about dungeneering giving you tokens but you never hear a peep against slayer. Guess people just like their slayer helms to much. As for this skill having no use, summoning was virtually useless until the second batch came out. i can see the same with dungeoneering. maby one day high level dungeons with special boss monsters like kbd or dks that you need dungeoneering to get to?
  20. team mate got goliath when he was killed by one of runewrights books lol. i think it was something along the lines of get killed by a monster weaker then you
  21. Neighbor used to have an obsetion with magic but i could never get into the gameplay. waiting all those turns for mana, yuck. I've at one point or another collect pretty much every card series. Digimon, pokemon, inuyasha, duel masters was a fun game to play but i didn't like the mana aspect that it shared with magic. i've got the complete first series of pokemon in mint condition. Wonder how much that would be worth right now with pokemon seeming to be a big game again. (Why won't it die!!!!! theres only so many times u can make a series around going to 8 gyms over and over) Still collect yugioh from time to time but since we moved theres just no one to actually play it with out here.
  22. [hide] I can't believe someone seriously wrote that. The facts there couldn't be any more wrong, the article writer took a quote of Netanyahu, completely spinned it, and then drew conclusions. I stopped taking it seriously after seeing the article started with- "The history of Israel as a geopolitical fraud will fill entire libraries as those defrauded marvel at how so few deceived so many for so long. Those duped include many naive Jews who-even now-identify their interests with this extremist enclave." And later continued with- "More than six decades ago the Joint Chiefs of Staff cautioned Truman about the "fanatical concepts of the Jewish leaders" and their plans for "Jewish military and economic hegemony over the entire Middle East."" And then- "Israel betrayed the U.S. by allying with the British and the French to invade Egypt." Not only is it wrong, but frankly I find it funny anyone truely believes the "facts" presented there. This article is just filled with senseless bashing and biased hatred based on nothing. Next time, please atleast present an article that has it's facts right. 1) your arguments against everyone else who opposes Israel diplomatic issues are a simple matter of only your opinion just like the author of the article i posted 2) many others will agree and disagre with your point of view as well as mine, the difference is you do not have any respect for those who disagree with ur point of view by trying to bash their arguments and belittle them 3) At least a great deal of 1st world countries are not blind by the corruption and atrocities Israel commits against the Palestinians unlike the U.S. (who's media is heavily controlled by the Jews) 4) You would think the Jewish people would learn from the Holocaust but instead theyre committing a new kind of holocaust towards the Palestinians while the world turns a blind eye all in the name of "self-defense" and kill 1000s of innocent palestinians because of a few radicals trying to destroy israel 5) Romy, I gotta admit you probably get off bashing all the people who blast Israel as well as the article i posted but you seemed to have purposely not answered my important question. 6) Romy, you are a tool 1. No, that's my opinion based on real facts, wheras the author is basing his/her opinion on false facts. Can you not see the difference? 2. If I didn't have any respect I wouldn't bother to answer their arguments. I'm not "bashing" their arguments, I'm counterpointing and answering. Belittle? You mean like say that the articles they presented are based on false facts? Sure, I do that. 3. Hey, guess what? "corruption and atrocities Israel" is clearly your opinion, which is presented in a very disrespectful way.... isn't that what you accused me for on #2? Atleast make sure your points don't contradict each other in a hypcritical kind of way. I'm not going to adress your conspiracy theories. 4. Having studied about the holocaust from every single point of view that exists, having interviewed 20-some holocaust survivors, having read countless books and watched countless movies about it, I believe it's safe to say there's no point of comparison here, and any comparison that exists isn't based. Oh, and these may be only because of a few radicals who try to destroy Israel (I'd argue against the 'few' part, but meh), but these radicals are hiding inside civillian homes, and launch their rockets at Sderot from there. Israel has two choices- leave it be, let it's citizens deal with the rockets on their own, or understand the consequences of letting it's citizens deal with the rockets on their own, understand that these radicals know hurting civillians is considered wrong and that's why they do that, and take the necessary steps in order to stop them, while being completely aware to the situation. Just to make it clear, I'm not saying killing these 1,000 civillians was right, I'm saying there's no other choice. 5. I didn't answer your question because I thought you based it off that article. If you want my own opinion- I don't think it's made the world any safer than when the USA, Italy, Poland or Eygept were established, it's not about "safe". Countries are not established so the world will be a safer place, countries are establishsed on the basis of either- 1. An ideology (such as the USA). 2. A people without a country (such as Poland). I trust Israel fits both. To talk about safe? I'm not sure Iran or Iraq made it any safer, to say the least. 6. Yeah, same as 3, just more personal. 1- Rather then saying that everything the author says is based on 'false' facts as you call them, give us the 'real' facts and actually make a decent post rather then just screaming i'm right your wrong. 2- all i ever see from you regarding this subject is personal attacks and the i'm right your wrong attitude as i said above. 3- what would you have it say instead? I'm sorry we tried to be kind and peaceful and make it so you can't eat a decent meal never mind making a bomb so were gonna blast you all back to the stone age? 4- Have you ever dealt with people who have lost everything in just an hour? In the morning you leave the house where your wife, your children, your parents live. You return and you find a smoking pit. Then something happens to you -to a certain exteny you stop being human. You do not need any glory, money anymore;revenge becomes your only joy. And because you no longer cling to life, death avoids you, bullets fly past. you become a wolf. -rusian general aleksander lebed vet of afghanistan The russians learned a long time ago that you you can't just expect to pacify a country with a scorched earth policy. Any one who survives will have lost everything and will make sure that when he joins his family in whatever afterlife he believes in he will take as many people with him as possible. Unfortunatly the U.S. and israel have not learned this yet. Everytime an innocent is killed you make a dozen devils who will try to make you suffer as much as possible for the lives you do take. Rather then just capet bomb an entire village to get one insurgant has no one in israel actually considered a tactical strike with spec or black ops to minamalize casualties? 1. I have done so, read up. Any fact presented by me on this thread can be checked, they're all definitely valid. 2. Care to show me? 3. I'm pretty sure I didn't get what you're trying to say here, so to avoid any misunderstandings, please clarify. 4. I don't think you fully understand the situation. Citizens and Hamas members all live together, most even hidden in citizens' homes. Weapons are stocked in the very same homes aswell. You can't minimize the damage when a "radical" uses a living child as a shield, it's either you shoot or you don't. I'll repeat what I said before in a chronological way- 1. Sderot is bombed at, on an average of 2 rockets a week for 8 years. 2. Israel tries to stop the bombing in different ways, including using anti-missle missles (which unfortunately, aren't that affective because the location the missles are launched from is too close to the target). 3. Eventually Israel decides to react, and begins preparing for an operation- Oferet Yetzuka. 4. Israeli forces are sent to the Gaza strip. 5. After a period of about 3 weeks, Hamas agrees to stop attacking Sderot if Israel ends the operation. 6. The operation ends. 7. 3 days later, missles are launched at Sderot, again. [/hide] 1- pretty much the only fact that you state in any thread on this issue is that Israel retaliated after being bombed twice a week for eight years. i believe i asked you this question on another thread i don't remember you ever answering. Why?? Why are the Palestinians attacking israel? The world isn't just black and white where one day people wake up and decide their neighbor has to die. 2- i'm not going to go digging through threads just to prove one point. i believe it was in the religouse fanatasism thread, or one of my very old ones where we started listing things that israel bans from entering gaza you then just kept repeating the same arguement your using on this thread, that israel put up with it for eight years. which of course never explained why building materials, food, heck even coloring books were banned from gaza. ' 3- any article regarding the issue will most likly be biased. you either find people for palestinians or for israel. i've yet to see an article with the title "israel retaliates for rocket attack" theres always the extra savage rocket attack or brutally retaliates. If you find an article that is completely nuetral then please post it. other wise we can just view any article in favour of israel the same way that you view one in favour of the palastinians. 4- The united states sends 3 billion dollars a year to Israel. If they can't train a decent special ops unit with that much money what are they using it for? Send in a team to a supposed insurgants house, search it, if they find rockets blow it up. But just blowing up an entire neighbor hood to get at one person is just asking for escalation.
  23. I know i shouldn't, but i know eventually i will anyway so might as well start while the day is young. I can't believe someone seriously wrote that. The facts there couldn't be any more wrong, the article writer took a quote of Netanyahu, completely spinned it, and then drew conclusions. 24. Just started so i havn't got that much info yet. What i do have so far are just randome diary entries but still interesting. [hide] To long for me to type it all this late i might later. But basically a wizard or some such built the dungeon as his his lair and was conducting research with 2 others, He starts acting wonky and has his 2 partners build traps throgh out the upper levels of the dungeon to guard his research. The other 2 however realise that these traps are just as good as keeping people in. The next entry is of them discovering "something" and going off to put a stop to the wizard praying to the gods that they will be in time. next entry i got is of someone slowly going deeper into the dungeon. Probably zamorkians since they refer to their boss as master. and that the farther down they go the stranger things they discover. new minerals apearing out of no where plants, ect. and that it apears to be spreading. all i got so far only 12 dugeoneering so far though. [/hide] whatever happened to the hide tag button anyway?
  25. Budget cut at the moment so i've cut back on reading for now and the nearest library is just to far to make a weekly trip  Surepised no ones mentioned The wheel of time by Robert Jordan yet. The new book that just came out, "the gathering storm", was alright even though it was made by a different author, Forgot his name. His writing style is different then Jordan's but I like his style a little bit more. Can't wait for the next one. Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman's books are also good reads. I just don't like their new Dragon Ship's series. Don't know why it just seems a little rushed to me, not as much detail as their other works. Then of course theirs Anne Mcaffery's Dragon riders of pern series is also good. Her son is sstarting to take over the series for her. Some of his works are good but some arn't, it's still to early to say if he'll do the series justice or not. Last series i've read was E.E. Knights "Age of Fire" series. It was alright and i'm waiting for the 6th book to come out. Also, I'm trying to find some of his vampire earth books to see if they are any good. Any one here read them? And can recomend them or not?
