Depending on the monster and what supplies I have left I will stay. Sometimes I'm just fed up and what to get on with the next task.

Coporate sell outs... lol :P Some of the stuff could be cool, but RS history doesn't float my boat.

Apart from fire arrows suggested already. Maybe new types of fires you can build for various reasons, like perhaps having to build a certain type of fire to cook a new type of food on that heals well. And other types of fires you could build to help boost another skills, like maybe some kind of ritual burning to get more prayer exp (similar to altars). Different types of fires to craft or smith new items or fires to prepare certain ingredients or herbs for potions. With the new lighting system on high detail maybe new torches to light up darker areas or something could be incorparated too. Just a few off the top of my head. The skill has a lot of unused potential that's for sure.

Thehate has maxed all 99's in RS2 I think? I never played classic but I remember Thehate cos he did basically the free fast laws idea before W66 was around

In answer to your theory: No to RS3 What do you define as RS3? In my personal opinion I think RS3 would be a download to acheive graphics like WOW but still be the same map and game.

I like how it is getting at the fact people plan free time to play RS instead of playing it in your free time. It's almost saying that RS in a sense, is an addiction. Although the article does seem to give the impression that you should just quit MMO's all together which is odd for an MMO fan helpsite! One the whole, a decent article, good job!

Well most will know that "Wacky Backy" is a slang term for Marijuana, at the time I was 13 and just put it for the hell of it - hell I hadnt even smoked it then. I dont mind my name but there are others I see and I'm jealous of. Quite often getting people complimenting my name on RS so I guess it isnt so bad.

Probably the reason why in 3 years of playing RS I havent got one 99 skill still. Yes I do play RS and yes I have for quite a long time now but I know for a fact I have a better social life than most people and I'm very popular, talkative and sociable. I think that most people know where to draw the line or play these games in moderation (like myself, although I have still played quite a bit). Obviously you get these unhealthy and sad lifestyles that some lead, but they are the ones you always hear about. So thats why the impression is given that MMORPG players are these sad, lonely people when I guarantee most are infact normal people.

Getting a 360 at Xmas (being a xbox fan and owning a ps3 and wii is just a bit weird to me =/) Halo 3 will be bought, went round friends last weekend for a quick go in the day, in 5 hours we did it on heroic, I thought story was good and the graphics/content have done themselves proud. The campaign coulda been longer but I guess when I play there will be plenty of acheivements and multiplayer to do. GJ Bungie on H3 - it wasnt a let down and people should give them credit As far as H4 is involved = no, it wont happen but I guarantee spin offs wil be there (like Halo Wars already being example). Prequels and sequels of other stories after Halo series involving chief are surely to be released.

I'm not sure... I mean this time round I think the reward was dispointing but the event itself was interesting. If Jagex choose then people will just give them undeserved criticism on task/reward but if we have to vote then maybe we should have a good way of suggesting ideas for rewards and tasks for Xmas 07 instead of having a limited choice.
