I think cannon spots and non cannon spots should be mentioned in the guide for all the monsters. I'm sure you can cannon Goraks, or you could try different spots or mention different spots. Also monsters suitable for using chinchompas on. Goraks could be killed in the GWD with a familiar which may be better, Hellhounds in the GWD, cannoning Fire Giants in the wildy, etc. Abby specs without a cannon may be better for people with lower incomes, with a cannon for these who earn a lot.

Do you use super def pots on tasks? They help greatly for me.

I killed Fire Giants with no food with fighter torso and rune defender using bunyip, so with a verac skirt, helm and a decent shield I'm sure it'd be possible to range. You can run behind them so you only get one attacking you at a time if you need to. It intrigued me today that I was getting a few similar tasks to a high ranked player in the highscores, and watching him do all his tasks in proselyte, praying melee and probably using piety. If you're rich I guess you could use proselyte skirt and arma top and use 10/15% prayers on ranging tasks. According to the KB you can't get warped tortoises from Duradel. :( I was killing them earlier for fun and got 50k or so xp and 300k worth of tortoise shells (and 2 rune picks). I've heard people talking about ranging waterfiends, I don't see why it won't work so it's worth a try.

Which room are you using for fire giants in the chaos tunnels? There are 3 rooms, and the task will probably be better if you go to another room. Room 11 is what I use for melee normally, as it has more spawns and is smaller than room 16, but you'd have to tank. Never used room 37 so not sure about that room. (Using the Tip.it map which is labelled in room numbers) I need to try and convince you about using black knives and void, just need to prove that the exp is better for some tasks. :P

Yesterday I tried Abby demons with pies, today I tried to kill Rex for my task for the 1st time. :P ~6 kills? Had to log off after that zerker so I'll see if I can continue my trip.

You have recommended a rcbow for all your tasks, wouldn't knives be better for those tasks with low defence? Also, chins are a good choice for Nechs if you're rich :twss: . Nice guide though, I love ranging and this guide will come in use. EDIT: I prefer to cannon the suqahs at the top of the isle (the barraging ones) - the ones at the lower end drop no charms I believe, and the top ones are a lot quicker to complete.

Doing Summer's end a few days after release, got quite a lot of spirit shield splits for 100k+ on lootshare. \

For any monster I trained with with the split sword, I seemed to either get hit too much or hit too little, finding a dragon scimitar better. Maybe if I was higher levelled or fought lower levelled monsters, the beserker necklace combo would be better - on yaks for example, using a split sword would be better experience than a saradomin sword as it hits higher and accuracy isn't too important. However with Duradel and slayer I found no tasks I could effectively use this with. At waterfiends the necklace would give too much negative magic defence to work, it would be like using karils that has degraded to black dragonhide or worse.

About the cabbages, could you put the sacks in a familiar? \ Nice guide, wonder if you could do something similar at other locations... Would buying the rings slow you down a lot though in magic xp?

How many kills/pies/pray pots? I'm 80 slayer and thinking about pieing a few trips. :P
