It's clearly Easter Bunny, Jr. as Easter/Passover festivities are this week.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't suggesting that you had to post that there. I meant, have other people noticed it there and commented?

Blood Pact and Lumbridge Catacombs
I didn't notice anything about the shortcut that gets you from the entrance of the catacombs to the crypt room...the ladder/stairway on the wall? I thought it might be worth mentioning both in the tips and tricks of the quest page and the lumbridge caverns guide as it opens up after you complete the combat portion of the quest.

Ping rates
Ping of 1 means like you're right next to the server... Anyway, Aussie worlds I get 50ish and non Aussie worlds are around 200-250. Has that changed for you or is that what you've always gotten?
-
Jagex's World to Server Ratio
My ping rates went from high 70s at best to low 90s recently. Did anyone else notice recent changes?

Ping rates
I just noticed that my ping rate jumped from high 70s to the best available now being low 90s...did Jagex do something (is it the same in everyone's case?) or is it my ISP?

Vyrewatch Cremation Rewards
I used to do those things all the time. Perhaps there was an update or change...to accuracy instead of damage? It's just speculation on my part, but how often do you hit those 250s? Are your 'non-250' hits high or low? I'm going down there soon to get another 50 or so (I've got a "fully-upgraded" Ivandis flail myself, not that it might matter anymore!). Also, has anyone posted on this in the RSOF? I'm intrigued. I think there is a crew member that worked a lot on the latest update to the guide here on Tip.It and used some of my data...so perhaps that crewbie will see it.

Fishing update! call me crazy, but im thinking new skill... /edit: but yeah it blatantly spells fishing update, but meh i just have a feeling ;) Call me an idiot but what about ''a fishy update'' instead of fishing. Fishy as something wrong with something. A mystery like update? Puzzle quest. I won't call you an idiot, but you're reading too much into it...as many people usually do. Although... I wouldn't put it past Jagex to one of these days do just that...in fact, they could put "red herrings" into the game and just make our day!- Special Events and the rewards
- SportsGuy's blog -> Membership, the 65+ plateau, and beyond
The bonus XP weekend came and went and I managed to squeeze a couple of Agility levels, a level in Cooking, and several thousand experience points in some other random levels which will come in handy. In all, I think it was a nice gesture by Jagex, but poorly executed. First, they came out with a statement saying they messed up with some calculations, but why they didn't "make it up" to us in some other small way, I don't know. A tome of experience or genie lamp or even just extending the time one day further into the week would have sufficed. As it happened, I struggled to make it from 2.7 down to 1.1 without neglecting my obligations in real life. RuneScape has definitely lost a little bit of "shine" for me. It could be that I've got very few interesting goals (and only two quests) left. It might be that the updates give me an impression that Jagex doesn't actually have long term plans for the game and I'm wasting my time. Maybe it's something else I'm not considering. In any case, I've gotten no closer to finishing the Elite Ardougne achievements diary, no progress on my current Slayer task and Fire cape attempt (though they are one and the same), and very little new and exciting repeatable content. Right now, I pretty much log on and make my daily runs to collect free resources. It's looking like Cooking will be my first skill cape, when it seems that a few months back I was so sure it would be Farming or Woodcutting. Cooking is one of the few things that I can do while doing other things. I've become involved in my War of Legends account, even starting a second one (I thought I'd join my own alliance - twice - but I got stuck on another server!). I saw that Tip.It has a Lord of the Rings Online site and started a 10-day trial account and LOVED that game and the challenge. The graphics are stunning, but a little too much for my little old machine. I will wait until I get a new computer to attempt that game, but I did like that it has an option for a lifetime account subscription. Am I growing out of Gielinor? Probably a little, but never completely. RuneScape will always be my first real foray into MMORPG-dom and I will certainly still have a membership and log in for my daily resources...until Jagex releases something spectacular, like a new quest or the upcoming skill. All I have to say is...it better be good!- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
I feel like there are usually more of them, but on the @OfficialJagex twitters page, this was all I saw. It appears consistent. Perhaps other languages were left out because otherwise a translation difference would reveal too much?- Special Events and the rewards
- Curses, Bork, Jade Vine
I may have missed it...where did we say it was a glitch or a bug?- Shattered Heart - Corrections/Comments
Yes, the new Activity gives the potential for an additional 10 Kudos. Yes, but a crew member closed a post by another forum user in the WUC which pointed out that THIS guide is incorrect, yet nothing seems to have been done.- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Exactly. Hunting and Mining will be crowded, but less so, if there are boycotters. Still crowded tbs, but not as bad as it could be. One thing to remember, DO NOT visit the circus until this weekend and then make that one of the first things you do...that agility bonus and mage and range bonus is excellent for not much time spent. Also, I plan on having a round of trees and bushes to check the health on and then replant them and log out after the circus and a farming round. It will save my time (since it's not consecutive hours and only logged in game time) and allow me two rounds of good planting. For me, everything else will be runecrafting, smithing, construction, herblore, or fletching. Mostly smithing, tbh. Are you sure we are getting bonus XP from circus? It was in the DevBlog on the site- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!

Well it is meant to be a community event. When everyone can do it at any time its hardly a community event as no one will do it at the same time. I do think that this is a good initiative on Jagex' part they should just have only included DIY skills like fishing, mining, rcing, etc. Maybe next time :) Well, all I'm thinking is "good luck trying to mine your way up a few levels" because skilling like that is going to be difficult...or people will wisely choose not to mine and focus on other skills that don't take as long to train in order to make the most of the time allotted. I still think just allowing the first ten hours of log in at any time would result in a large amount of people taking part...as it is, there are planned boycotts (although as previously mentioned, that won't prevent those same people from making money this weekend).- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
My only real problem with this weekend is that it's only on the weekend. They should just give everyone 10 hours of bonus experience. It's not fair that people that can't play on this weekend miss out. Otherwise...I think everyone is being a bit self-righteous and there are probably quite a few people who are complaining that will still sneak on and play. Not everyone, but still...- Shattered Heart - Corrections/Comments
I would tend to agree that listing each one (since those values are reportedly known to have exact figures) would be better. It's certainly not necessary, I suppose, but people are probably going to submit exact values in the future as corrections...as it exists in the current format.- Impetuous Impulses Update data?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is there no Impling scroll anymore? It seems to have disappeared from my inventory, but when in Puro Puro the scroll's function seems to be active. [Crew edit: Thanks for pointing this out, SportsGuy. I tried to re-obtain my scroll and it does seem that this item is discontinued because it is now built into the interface. You have been credited. - Speedyshel]- Shattered Hearts Data - Replica Pieces?
Though it's a British company, perhaps Jagex is making a play on the American movie "A Christmas Story" when the dad calls the lamp he puts in the family living room "a major award". I'm just throwing it out there...- Special Events and the rewards
- Strange rocks
[hide=Statue list][/hide] I got the Statue list...and then dropped it, since checking the plinth (or statue of the wizard) does exactly the same thing. I took the picture and got you the examine anyway. Included there is the experience for the two pieces added to the plinth at 91 Cooking. Here is something similar for 88 Woodcutting [hide=Woodcutting strange rocks and exp][/hide] Something happened to my image of the firemaking strange rocks (MS Paint wouldn't "undo" the paste like it usually does and it pasted the secondary image over the first), but here is the experience proof and the examines for 86 Firemaking [hide=firemaking (oops)][/hide] - Familiarisation Rewards Submissions
