I don't have flawed logic and think before you base your entire argument on a faulty assumption. I did have an angel of death gravestone. I couldn't reconnect to the game site, though I had full access to the rest of the net. Reaching that area safely is not a simple task or simply a matter of beating it back to the cavern in five minutes. Through all of that, anyone who takes the time to flame here is just pathetic. Let forum users blow off steam and just move on.

Were they saved in PNG orginally or did you convert them later? That's something that sometimes gets forgotten...the original save has to be in PNG. It's weird, because I've gotten in the habit of saving almost every picture off the net into PNG format...even ones I don't intend to share here!

Since I still have internet access and can access other web pages when it is happening, I believe there is a way they could work that out. Besides that...THIS IS A RANTS SECTION. It's for rants. That's why this is here.

My computer doesn't lag frequently...in fact, it's just started happening. As for the "oh no, I'm gonna die" comment...Jagex can certainly program in safeguards (if they can catch people cheating, they can tell if it's a sudden drop out or lag). Not to mention, what would be the big deal if they did make it safe? Does that really make a difference? It's not like it's lack of skill in those instances. Besides that...this is the RANTS section of the site.

No problem at all. I wasn't aware that it was worded as such (confusing) else I might have brought it to their attention myself! Excellent catch on something that needs work (or rather, I agree with you on that point).

[hide=00,30 North - 24, 16 East][/hide] The description for this clue's placement seems to indicate that it's obvious where the placement is, but that must only be on certain detail levels and with certain settings in place. I'd suggest altering the details for the swamp clue and eliminating graphic detail...details. You never know what kind of detail people play under. In this case, eliminating the reference might also make the entry shorter and sweeter.

Yet this is in contrast with the additional rewards for the Hunt for Red Raktuber: It is my understanding that it is The Hunt for Red Raktuber that gives the increased penguin points and not Cold War. It seems to be worded poorly. The only extra rewards weekly from Red Raktuber come from the polar bear agent (1 additional point). The Cold War quest gives additional points for five of the penguins each week...penguins that seem to be found in areas that need special access (from quests and so forth...such as penguins in Lleyta or Isafdar, Mos le'Harmless, etc). The sure thing is that Cold War gives you 5 extra points each week from penguins, while Red Raktuber gives only one additional one and changes the person you have to speak to from Larry to Chuck.

Add Nature talisman to the list...also I think the Prayer pot(1) should be relabeled to be a little more consistent with the site ( to Prayer potion (1) or the like)...

I would have to agree with the second post...if you're fighting Nomad, presumably you're able to spend the 1k for the bonus it gives. If not, you're probably not advanced enough to take him on. However, since he's so likely to kill the player (and this is arguably the toughest boss monster to date) perhaps a mention of the recommended gear set-up and the "keepable" items on death wouldn't be out of line. My guess is that a player made guide has a strategy that includes such a list of items already...

My drop log (which may not have any new information) had water runes from 29 to 33, dagannoth hide, super attack(3), super restore(1), super defence(3), iron arrows(p) from 8-11, water talisman, keg of beer, coins from 525-1296, strawberry seed, watermelon seed...and TONS of clues. In fact, this is probably the best clue dropper in the game right now. I had a task of 200 and at least 15 clue scrolls and the only reason I suspect I didn't have more was that I was tired of making the trek there only to get a clue scroll drop less than five kills in so I would try to at least kill 10 each trip, even if I got a scroll drop 1 or 2 kills in. I'd be interested to see if others have had as much luck with the frequency of drops. BTW, the only reason my drop log is so "sparse" is because I quickly tired of keeping track of them, especially after a pretty good log already exists in the bestiary.

That's actually some proof right there! Though the KB is sometimes wrong, it's certainly a good second source!

Even if it's not added as a section, I'd agree that maybe at least Slayer monsters and boss monsters could use a note about effective techniques. Many are already listed (as the PP mentioned) in the notes section, but if those spots could be standardized, I think players would appreciate it. If I were crew, which I am not, I'd probably put this on a to do list, but near the bottom as it's not a high priority. A while back, it looked like the crew was linking items in the drop table to the item pages, but not all are done...so it's kind of like that to me...if you add a new monster or update an old one, perhaps doing the links and adding any attack information like that would be good on a case by case basis. That's my thoughts...

I thought I'd update a Treasure Trail clue picture (or give you the tools to do so) since there has been an update to the area which changes the way the ground looks and changes what the player might see in the minimap if they're using it to pilot themselves to the coordinate points. I lost 1.9 million....the going price of a Black mask right now. That's a lot of money to a person like me who doesn't play that often and has less than 7 times that in the bank. Street price is ridiculous in this case. It kept the (barrows) gloves, an item you can't trade or sell on the GE for another item you can't trade or sell on the GE (the put-together Slayer helm). The black mask CAN be bought on the GE and it's more expensive than the 100k for the gloves in the culinaromancer chest. I know the log out situation, but it's a slow death and it shouldn't happen when fighting NPCs. It's not a lack of skill but a random internet connection lag that caused it and all I needed was the ability to interact with my bank for a second to click a home teleport tablet. I didn't go unprepared...I wasn't given a chance to play the game.

As far as frustration goes, never have I been more angry and more upset than my latest Slayer task. While attacking Skeletal wyverns, my computer connection froze. No warning, no slow down before hand, just a sudden stop. Now, this freak outage has started happening frequently. It's causing me to rethink playing altogether. I lost a Slayer helmet, Black dragonhide chaps and body, Ardougne cape 3, Explorer ring 3, Ring of wealth, Enhanced Excalibur, Mind shield, several sharks, several monkfish, a couple of Prayer mix potions, wyvern bones, and loot. It kept my Abyssal whip (thank goodness), Bandos boots (whew), and...gloves. Now, I know the street value of gloves is more than that of the Slayer helm, but not greater than the sum of the parts! Whatever, I guess. Rant over. The only nice thing from recent play was completing the Blood Runs Deep quest and a nice treasure trail reward earned from a Slayer task in the caves leading up to the latest incarnation of the Dagannoth mother. [hide=Pithy reward][/hide] I have seen level gains in several skills, but I haven't earned any real useful content unlocks (at least useful to me or useful to me yet). I suppose the only thing I can do is continue my daily tasks, manage my kingdom, and try to earn back the 1.9 million or so I had to shell out for a new Black mask to create a new Slayer helmet. This new one needs breaking in, but I'm not sure I want to take the chance of losing something like this again so soon.

I lagged. I had full health when I went in and prayer was on. I was ranting because it apparently takes a long time even after severing your connection to the internet for it to log out. After all that, I logged back in and found myself in Falador. ...and yes, it's a rant about all of the things I mentioned.

I can beat you, Skeletal wyverns. I've killed dozens of your comrades. The only way you can beat me is to somehow reach into this world and interrupt or freeze my mother lovin' computer's connection to the mother lovin' internet. Thanks for killing my Slayer helmet. THANKS. Yeah...sum of it's parts it's much more expensive then the barrows gloves, but yeah...let's go ahead and keep those gloves over the helm.

Between steps 17 and 18 there is a required items information panel that says you need the tablets, but it's not the case...[hide=BRD Quest][/hide] In addition, I noticed that the Sentinels earn you 250 slayer experience each (as that's my current task, I made notes of the experience before and after). I'm not sure if you already had that.

Isn't that a "graphical update" to Barrelchest?
