Shattered Hearts Data - Replica Pieces?
I thought the items spot was the proper space to put the strange rocks so I started the thread there a little earlier. EDIT: I suppose I could re-submit some data, but the crew can find my useful pictures in the items folder since I posted them there first.

Strange rocks
I figured I'd get the ball rolling... While cooking swordfish, I received my first strange rock. [hide=Strange rock - cooking, 1st][/hide] The message said something about something happening to the swordfish and being left with a strange looking rock. I'm 91 cooking and it happened in my daily cooking of swords from MIscellania...so it didn't take long. A crewbie can edit and use this post/thread however they wish... EDIT: and then moments later while cooking the tunas [hide=Strange rock - cooking, 2nd][/hide]

Eadgar's Ruse
but the true is... Sanfew is still at Taverley Herblore Shop, at the second floor (where you started the quest). so i suggest this correction: After grabbing the Goutweed and being sent back to the entrance by the awoken troll, make your way back to the Taverley Herblore Shop (where you started the quest) and talk to Sanfew (dont forget, at the second floor). You will give him the Goutweed and the quest will be complete! ------------------------------------------- hope i helped Leo Cid, at your service. I think the crew should make a decision on quests like this to determine whether players should know by then what teleports are available to themselves. It's not the way I'd get to Taverly, personally...not even when I was doing the quest. If I wanted to see Sanfew, I'd use the balloon transport system or teleport to Falador. As I've stated (and it's been stated elsewhere) there are an infinite amount of ways to get somewhere and only the absolute most obvious, safest and quickest methods are useful in the guides. If a player had to get to the Varrock Town Square, for example, listing the Varrock teleport spell or a tablet would be a great mention. If it's Lleyta...well, players should know how to get there by the time they visit...since they had to make their way there the first time AND get a teleport crystal. I'm trying to exaggerate, of course, but...well, I digress. As such, I'd just take the reference out and say "After you have the Goutweed, head to Taverly and find Sanfew upstairs in the herb shop. Give him the Goutweed..." or something to that effect. Do they mention in the quest about collecting more of the Goutweed while you're there if you can? I found filling up my empty inventory spots with the herbs was a nice way to get a few extra herbs in trade after the quest was over (since it's basically a minigame afterward...trading in the Goutweed for herbs). Since the player just learned the method of making it through, the player might take advantage of that (best in the tips section?).

So it looks like Nordic/Germanic languages have more literal translations, but the Latin ones go the figurative route... I'm definitely interested to see if the over-analyzing actually turns out to be accurate

It's not in any of the other twitter hint translations...that's what I'm basing it on...and they've tried a whole bunch of different word play things, not just slipping it in that one time... ...but you're right...it could be. It's just my opinion. Mezcla, captilized here, it should be noted, means mixture or blend, but it could also describe mortar...like masonry. I think that's least likely, of course. I don't know German... This week in RuneScape: A huge amount of updates! Everyone is going to get something. (from an earlier post) Okay...THIS one seems to have it in there again... AND this one... and of course in English... Translate away...

I think there's too much literal translation going on there. The word is used outside of its literal meaning and the other language twitter hints appear to indicate that it's not to be taken literally...otherwise there would be something about food in there, wouldn't there? Instead, the figurative definition seems to fit, since that's what is indicated in other twitter hint translations.

MAP: All World Map Feedback here
It would help our mapper greatly if you had a list of new fields, or even just some. Cheers ~Cowman Two just off the top of my head happen to be in the Gnome Stronghold and Catherby. I can peruse the World Map in-game for more, but I guess I wrongfully assumed that it was already being worked on. EDIT: after scouring the world map, it appears to me that those are the only new additions.

"Something for everyone"...could be an update that also goes to F2P...which might mean the new skill this week? That would be something!

Bestiary drop-table
I'm not knowledgeable about such things, but I would think that such a fix would have been considered already if it were possible. I'm sure they'll comment here soon about the suggestions.

Bestiary drop-table
When I first became a member, I killed a Man in Lumbridge and got a Grimy cadantine as a drop. It's possible to get high level herbs from low-level herb droppers, but not common. Recent threads on the RSOF that have been commented on by mods have shown how their drop system works and even how things like their Slayer system works. There is always a chance of certain things (like gem droppers always drop key halves) but not a great chance of it happening. Like the crew have said, there are exceptions (monsters that only drop certain types of things), but you do have to remember that thousands of people kill the same monsters and do get the drops. I've never personally received a Dragon spear, but I know they're out there! That said, I also know that sometimes I forget about the whole "Grimy herb" thing in the bestiary and do a search and have made submissions on it in the past! It's something that many others have done! I definitely think they should make sure that all monsters have the same type of thing, except for the ones that are exceptions of course. That way, when the search comes up empty, it sends that red flag up in our minds that something must be up and there's a reason it's not included verbatim in the drop list! I think they've done a pretty good job so far!

MAP: All World Map Feedback here
As some other users have pointed out in other places on this site, recent changes to the "Impetuous Impulses" minigame have added some wheat fields to random places around Gielinor. I figured this would be a good place to mention it (though I'm positive it's already being worked on, sometimes it helps to have a reminder in the right place).

SportsGuy's blog -> Membership, the 65+ plateau, and beyond
I still haven't attempted to take on Jad. It just doesn't interest me. Instead, I've focused more on getting levels here and there, making sure I make my daily and weekly task runs and making money on some of the resources I've been collecting. I'm not savvy enough to monitor the Grand Exchange, but I suppose I should start taking it into account. I reached Level 70 in all skill except Summoning. I'm waiting on that one, since there isn't really anything terribly interesting for me between 68 and 70 and since it takes so long to level it. I did manage to collect a nice amount of Guthix tears this week. It was the first time in a long time I managed to get over 160. I'm within a few thousand experience of Level 69, but the Familiarisation Distraction and Diversion released this week hasn't been terribly helpful. I started keeping a log of my rewards, since they're clearly not lucrative. A link to that thread can be found in my signature or here. I spent my points from hunting penguins and the polar bear this week on Hunter and Construction (the two most recent '70' skills). I really should focus on Smithing and Mining again soon, but I thought the former was getting an update in the near future. Maybe I was wrong about the estimated time of arrival. The big news has been the gains I've been able to make thanks to Managing Thy Kingdom - in Cooking. [hide=I can cook Manta Rays!][/hide] Yep. I'm only two levels from being able to cook everything in the game and that's after the latest update to the skill, the one that added Rocktails. I guess that's not too shabby! Speaking of which, a couple of weeks back I lost my Slayer helm, but this week I was able to upgrade my new one. I bought a Hexcrest and Focus sight on the Grand Exchange before the items rose to unreasonable heights and now have a FULL helm. I don't know how much difference it will make, but perhaps it will make the helmet beneficial while facing Jad...if I ever get around to the try! Thanks so much! I'm sorry I haven't been too active here. Nothing much happened worth writing about in my opinion, but now I'm back at it. I'm hoping they continue to put out weekly updates to keep me coming back!

Missing my Mummy - Easier travel
I probably would use the fairy rings to get there, too, but if I didn't have access to them yet, I'd probably do the carpet rides thing.

Missing my Mummy - Easier travel
For that matter, I usually teleport to the Rellekka cave via the Ring of Slaying and then use that fairy ring...so, there's yet another way. The thing is, this argument has taken many forms. There are an infinite amount of ways to get to any one spot, depending on where the player is at the moment and the things they have access to. I think one or two of the absolutely quickest methods are all that are necessary...it's just tips...not a compendium of every method of travel. Those are my two cents.

Devious Minds quest Guide
I got the Large pouch while completing that quest, then lost it in the completion of the quest and was later able to buy it from the wizard. I guess I got it as a drop, but I don't remember it being difficult (while on the quest) or taking that long. Perhaps the drop frequency increases for that pouch DURING the quest (in other words, after it has been started). I don't think there is necessarily a drop order, but I did have both the small and medium pouches already before getting the large one.

This is intriguing, though I'm guessing the answer would be no.... I've always wondered about the Agility shortcut near Paterdomus, too...

Familiarisation Rewards Submissions
Along the lines of a pretty fantastic guide on Circus Points submissions, I thought I'd start collecting data to analyze on the Familiarisation Distraction and Diversion released last week. I, for one, would like to know if my level and my success at collecting shards is worth the triple charm drop reward or getting "the box" of Summoning rewards. For example: I have a Summoning level of 68. I collected all 60 piles of shards and elected to receive the box. My rewards were ____ and ____ and I collected my shards at the obelisk inside Keldagrim...the one closest to the place where you go in to fight monsters for the Dragon pickaxe (Keldagrim, near the Dwarven ferryman). Had I chosen the triple rewards, I'd have received (minutes of 3x charm dropping reward = two-thirds the amount of shard piles collected). I propose submitting box results here, using our username, summoning level, obelisk (exactly as it appears in the guide here on Tip.It), number of shard piles collected I will certainly be keeping track of all the rewards better next week and the weeks after, or at least until we see a pattern or standard rewards for all players. Obviously, this is optional and relies on input of more than just one player, since it's a once-weekly thing. If it doesn't get that help, then I'm sure it will be abandoned, but like the Circus point scheme, I think it might be interesting to see if there's a technique that includes rewards based on location of the obelisk and our summoning level (in addition to the total # of shard piles).

Familiarisation - Corrections/Comments
I think they were indeed placed in somewhat of a pattern. I found that going around the outside (keeping the "outer wall" in sight at all times) and then going into the middle area toward the end worked well. It almost seems counter-intuitive, but I only had four enemies of mine at the end of my run and I felt like I saw less of them in the middle (may have been a coincidence) than on the outer rim, since I saw at least one of each of those kinds on my first pass around the outside. I have the feeling that trying to formulate a specific plan may not be helpful each week, but rather a general plan to make sure you cover the whole area without missing shard piles would be best. The tip about Oo'glog is great - that's what I did before entering the obelisk - but it might get adjusted, because while the dip does "revitalize" you in both body and mind, I'm not sure if Jagex realized the effect carried over. We'll see, I suppose. I also don't know if things like the Explorer's ring will work at recharging - perhaps someone tested it? Finally, how about a "drop log" of sorts for the box? I got 12 polar kyatt furs and 15 earth talismans at level 68 summoning collecting all 60 shard piles...all noted (and I guess shards? I can't remember exactly). Why a log of these? Because people might want to compare whether it is worth doing the triple charm drops or the likelihood of getting something worth using their charms on. I know that's a daunting task, but I think it's worth it.

You'll never do...why? I found that visiting the pools at Oo'glog made this diversion an easy time-waster. I have the feeling that they'll bump the rewards after they see how few people are wasting so much time to get terrible rewards.

Misunderstood Monsters: Wyverns and more!
I had trouble, too...then suddenly, I didn't anymore. I didn't understand why or what I did to fix it. Maybe clearing my cache or something? Something tells me that wouldn't work.

Even though it's pretty straight-forward as a clue...were there any other hints in other languages that might hint at something additional or shed even more light on an already pretty obvious update location?
