Has anyone ever documented random spawns? I just walked into the Crafting guild and an emerald was sitting on the table above the chisel. I would have taken a picture, but I wanted to grab it before someone else did! Is this supposed to happen every so often and are there other random spawns like that in other places (I can only think of the air rune spawn in the middle of the forest behind Lumbridge Castle near the vast field of wheat)?

What is a full set? Helm, body armor, shield, and legs or skirt?

I never play with the sound on (usually have my iPod or iTunes on) but am doing so tonight for a change. While opening a door, the sound effect after the clunk or clink (the sound of the door opening?) seemed to strike me as a little funny. I opened it repeatedly a few times just to be able to write "excuse me" to bystanders! Any other sound fx that are a little off or could be misinterpreted?

I'm level 50 in attack and 48 in strength and defence (about 18k exp between the skills). I'm thinking of doing the last quest I have to do in F2P, Dragon Slayer. Is there anything beyond beating that which will keep my interest without becoming a member or should I wait and save it for right before I become a member?

I was walking along tonight and picked up a couple of them. Aside from eating them for some paltry hp, can I do anything with them now that I have them?

What I did was fight those spiders for a little while and pick up the spiders eggs until I got a full inventory, then banked 'em. Then I went to fight hobgoblins or hill giants until i got a full inventory of limpwurt roots. Then I took the appropriate money, went to the apothecary and made them into strength potions. Voila, about 22-26 strength potions. Bring along one or two with you into the spider's nest, fight them while filling up your inventory of spider's eggs, drop the empty vials, exit, bank, bring two or three along to fight the hobgobs or giants, drop the empty vials...before long, you're ending up with more and more in your inventory. Sell some extras in the grand exchange or just keep banking for PKing. At least, that's what I do. I have 75 in the bank at the moment with about 25 in the GE...

I just want to point out that while Jagex has introduced the Grand Exchange, they haven't forbidden direct player-to-player trading which means, you still can sell things for above or below the market price...it just means you have to sit and advertise it the old way. I know that people like to rant and rave, but they haven't eliminated anything...just added a new way to shop and sell. Sure it makes it harder to get MORE, but there will still be people who like the old way, just don't get the new way, or prefer to try and bargain face-to-face.

And 20 of it probably involved dialing up to the internet...if you had it.

I still haven't figured out why RuneScape creators (Jagex) hasn't let us choose which items we can keep on death. It's not really adding that much strategy to the game (wearing stuff purposely worth less than those items we're trying to protect). I think they need to let us choose which three items and the plus one with prayer, give us that option with the use of another prayer (like level 80 prayer allows you to choose or something), or simply change that whole dynamic. I mean, they changed the duel arena, why not simply eliminate the whole losing items thing and make it so that they only get the value of the items in gp, but still make the player who dies lose their stuff (make it sold in a special shop or something where the player has a certain amount of time to buy everything back at "used" pricing). I don't like PK'ing and wish it was totally eliminated from the game. If it were, I'd become a member. If it has to exist, make it easier for people who don't like it to avoid it while not missing out on anything. I can't say it enough...PK'ing is my least favorite part of the game for reasons like RC hunters.

I saw a post on this from someone else...I'm planning on boosting my attack, strength, defence, and ranging to 50 first, but what about everything else? I don't need to be maxed out, but I'd like to not have to worry about too much while concentrating on stuff like construction, building a house, fletching, slaying, agility, etc... What should I do first when I finally do pay to play (P2P)?

I didn't find Lightness or Wildwood in the marked place, but I've since found both. Lightness just appeared green on my list, even though I didn't see it play. Wildwood was a little south of the bolts and bones area west of the Graveyard of Shadows. Thanks for the offer of help.

I hate bumping my own post, but I really would like some help and no one seems to be willing to help. Please?

I thought I made it clear that I can't find those places, because they are not marked on any maps I can find. To make this question easier... Can someone tell me where the "Charred Arena" or charred area is in the wilderness and exactly where "north of the Chaos Altar" is supposed to indicate? "North" could mean anything, and I've been through enough Ice Giants and warriors enough times with no results.

I'm trying to complete the F2P collection of music and keep in mind, the only quest I have left to complete is to slay Elvarg. I have everything but the map piece in Melzar's Maze, but I'm not gonna complete that until right before I become P2P, so I can make sure I have as much of the things I want to do completed before I start on the other stuff while spending my money. ANYWAY...that takes care of a few of the music selections (A, M, and one S), but the rest are either holiday music selections or ones that I should have been able to find. All the ones listed are the ones that are on Tip.It's site as F2P and ones that I don't have in green on my list. I'm having real trouble finding the L and W ones. I have gone north both at the Chaos Altar and Chaos Temple(thinking it might have been a typo), but can't find Wildwood. Lightness doesn't seem to appear on my list either, but I don't exactly know where the "charred" area is supposed to be. I don't see it on the maps, but I've been to the place where burnt bones are and that didn't seem to work. As far as the others, I've never had a random encounter from Evil Bob that took me to an island or a maze event. Is there something I'm supposed to be doing or a place I'm supposed to be when those are more likely? I've only had two frog encounters and used those both to get the outfits, so that one I suppose I'll have to wait and ignore them when they grace me with their presence again. Can anyone help with the rest? Do you get the holiday ones when you join as a member (even though you weren't there) or are they "forever ungettable" or do they get filled in when you experience the next season's holiday event? No, I'm not a member, but as we speak (as I read your post), I mined another ruby, so add that to the total. EDIT: and another sapphire!

I know it's a little too hard to figure out drop rates, but what about gem rates from regular ores (like copper, iron, tin, clay, coal, mithril, etc.)? Anyone have any experience? Mining nothing but coal for the last hour has netted me one ruby, two emeralds, and five sapphires. Since I started, I've mined nearly 600 ores. I'm not sure the percentages, but do you think that's high or low?

What about the Lumbridge Castle? The mind rune and the bronze arrow spawns on the first floor and the scmitar (or is it a dagger) in the crafting tutor room on the second and the four logs on the top floor not to mention in the tower gates top floor there is a pickaxe spawn then south of town near the fishing guy there is a fishing net spawn

I wasn't completely agreeing with the whole review, just the bot thing. Yeah, those ratings are a little wacky!

I think you gave him too much and would have reported him once he asked for more. I think you did the right thing by humoring him in such a nice way and giving him gifts were certainly the right thing to do, but even if it were genuine, people who ask for help in such situations and then ask for more must be shown that it's inappropriate. Yes, even if he or she really was suffering in that way.
