Exactly, although you did get some idiots that attacked no matter what, most knew that if you had just a Ddp++ that there was no point attacking you. They knew you'd pray and fire off 4 specials, they'd get nothing and in return they'd be poisoned and waste food. At the Green Dragons when Slayer just came out, everyone up there basically had an understanding that they shouldn't attack each other, because everyone always had full prayer and a teleport, and only had 3 decent items. Everyone just took 1 dragon, stayed in their respective area and didn't pick up other people's drops, unless stated that they could do.

Yeah but the problem is, there was always a way to avoid the Pkers. I always used to do the high level wildy clues at about 9 or 10am (UK), on the quietest server. There was never anyone there, and I wouldn't expect there to be when the server only had about 150 people on it. It isn't really fair that now regardless of time, the wildy is full of stupidly overpowered monsters that ruin virtually all chances of you finishing a clue. It's also stupid to let them do the agility course, people there are running light so they can run for as long as possible, how are they meant to take down a lvl 100+ monster that you'd struggle to beat in full Barrows? Sure, you got the odd Pker there, but not only could you see them coming on the map, but there rarely were any.

Who have YOU lost due to the recent updates?
ShadowFire replied to tazo6114's topic in General Discussion
Well, I didn't expect to see anyone online since I haven't played for over a year, but the only couple left seem to have lost all interest since this update, and I can't see that my old Pker friend will play anymore. I also don't really see much point playing after my months members runs out, no friends on, nobody to talk to at training spots (because they are all empty), little reason to try and raise stats. Can't see that I'll even be able to afford to train or buy anything soon, rune running used to pay for all my items and materials needed to raise my stats. You used to at least be able to have some strange conversations while fishing/woodcutting, and there was always something to talk about while training on Shadow Warriors. Now the odd few people I see training are all mute. -
No more RANDOM EVENTS/PURE ESS needed anymore now?!
ShadowFire replied to Latinoking's topic in General Discussion
Personally I think they need to cut off a lot of the unnecissary random events. I've only just started playing again for a month, and the amount of new random events is ridiculous, most of them are completely worthless. In particular, the Pinball, Prison Pete, Molly, Security Guard and Evil Bob events should go. Especially the Molly one, I spent 5 mins trying to catch the evil twin, because everytime I got the crane over her, she moved. All for a couple of Uncut Sapphires. It'd also be nice to ditch the Drunken Dwarf, Strange Plant and Swarm, they are getting far too repetitive now, especially since they are the most common ones. -
Dragon Armours V 3rd Age Armours (With Item Vs Item)
ShadowFire replied to Mazurizi's topic in General Discussion
Lvl 3 clue scrolls are far easier, I've been doing them since about lvl 80 (and found them easy), the mages are easily taken down with a couple of potions. What level 80 could take on the Kalphite Queen for a Dragon Chain? -
In chess the Queen is far better than the King, Jagex could just easily name it the Queen White Dragon.

Christmas is drawing near... any festive outfits?
ShadowFire replied to turbosnail1's topic in General Discussion
I've been away from RS way too long, anyone mind telling me what that scarf in this picture and the tatty trousers in the first post are called, so I can run a search on RuneHQ to find out how to obtain them? -
4 July 2006 - Security and free-to-play update - the Strongh
ShadowFire replied to Taito2004's topic in General Discussion
Hmm, I'm almost positive you started with 9hp on RSC, and that people who had an account left from then that was started but no stats raised on it started with 9hp on RS2 -
Best update in a very long time, I had quit, but this has brought me back. I've had to sell my obby shield to get some cash for this, but I'm not really bothered, a house beats a silly shield any day. Personally I think this going to turn the wealth symbols in this game around, why would anyone want to spend 100mill on a paper hat, when they could buy a mansion house for that.

Collecting & Anti-Littering Guide - Over 700k items so far!
ShadowFire replied to RAHK's topic in General Discussion
I collect those Potions that say spot cream when you examine them, unfortunatly the Apocrathy only gives you one free sample now, he used to give you infinite ones on RS1, hence why I only have about 20. -
I'd like to point out, that you are not certain to get one of those bunny eggs on your 11th dig. If you notice the rabbits carry around eggs when they are outside, the egg they carry is the one they will bury, so if you see one with the magic bunny egg, just follow it until it burys the egg, then dig it up.

3 April 2006 - Behind the Scenes - April

That wilderness tag sounds like a waste of time. It'll just be like everything else, a hotspot for pathetic pkers to kill people, just to get some Energy Potions and Cake. Oh well done sir, you killed me when I was totally unarmed and just trying to get some exp, you must have felt so proud when you yelled "n00b!!111" as I went back to Lumbridge. -
Shade/Zombie/Leo would be highly unlikely to happen, none of the monsters down there drop Bones, so you'd have to keep taking 28 bones down, collecting stones and burying the bones to try and get one. I'd like to see the frogs underwater though, would the Princess/Prince wear a fishbowl helmet too?

http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=426 ... c&start=75 Scroll down a bit and there is a pic of one. His crush bonus is 57, but thats with Dark Gloves and a Glory on, Meat Tenderiser is +52 crush and +48 str without any stat enhancers, plus it's one handed. Overall: Meat Tenderiser > Granite Maul >>> new hammer

Can Tip.it PLEASE Get a New Homeworld?(stupid idea, i guess)
ShadowFire replied to Trojann2's topic in General Discussion
Because over the past 8 Months of members, i have made some very tight friendships on this world, im not going to just leave them, but tip.it doesn't have to move, maybe just like make 2 homeworlds, :D So your friends stay on World 9 ALL the time? -
Actually, Agrith-Na-Na is based on Agrith Na from Shadow of the Storm quest.
-
Yeah it is. Don't be fooled into paying a lot of money for them though. I've seen a few people at World 2 Fally paying 450k for the Meat Tenderisers, then not being able to wield them (you must have access to the weapon to wield it, but it can be traded)
-
You have to do all eight subquests, or the Ogre subquest. I'm not sure which as the Ogre was my 8th subquest.
-
Well I doubt anyone would do that, you only fight them once and you don't even get the Cleaver until you beat the bosses. I was too busy trying to stay alive than to try and whisk them to death XD
-
Well they can be used as weapons, although none of them are that impressive the Meat Tenderiser is one handed and I think it has the largest crush attack of any one handed weapon. I don't think anyone has found any other effects or uses for them though. Oh and thanks Stuart :)
-
Hey thanks stuart, I've added them to the guide and given you credit. I just need the high alch for Meat Tenderiser now, since I don't want to sacrifice mine. I guess about 30k though.
-
You have to do either all eight subquests or the Ogre one, I'm not sure which. I got it after doing the 8th one, which was the Ogre. You don't need to do the bosses though. Speedwise, it's certainly slower than a scimmy, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as slow as a battleaxe. I'll do a test in a few mins, but I'd say it's about the speed of a mace. Edit: I've tested it against a Fremennik Blade (basically a long) and it's certainly slower. I've got no battleaxe or mace to test it against, but I'd say it's battleaxe speed.
