  3. I was going to keep going with the joke, but it was getting significantly less funny, sadly.
  4. Actually, quite the opposite. Mere has a disproportionately small head compared to her body. It's like one of those pygmy heads where they pull out the skull and let the skin retract and make the head smaller.
  5. These statements in any context. If you're making a blanket statement of any kind, you *have to* substantiate it, otherwise I'm going to just disagree with you no matter your stance on whatever is happening. I've been driving for *many* years and know the people I work with very well. I've been around long enough to have seen the changes in attitutude. You'll just have to accept that life experience gives you that much more than googling meaningless stats. Oh well, your perogative. Anecdotal evidence is literally the weakest kind of evidence in any scientific endeavor, especially if all you're doing is citing the anecdote without any regards to the context surrounding it, and why things might appear to be one way because of that context. For example, my dad always assumes that shitty drivers are women. 95% of the time, if he sees someone pull a stupid move out on the road, he says something to the effect of "Watch it woman!" Even if he had seen earlier that it was a man, and even after I started pointing out when it was a guy driving. So for a while I kept a count, and it was pretty near 50% of the bad drivers were guys, if not a little more. It wasn't particularly scientific, but if a third party asked both my dad and I which gender was a worse driver, which one of us would seem more reputable? What I'm saying is, it might *seem* like young drivers are getting worse, but I don't think you're really examining the other things around you that are causing it to seem that way. Certainly you yourself are getting older, and distancing yourself from the "young" drivers, so if nothing else you're more willing to associate young drivers with bad drivers because you're not condemning yourself by doing so. But mostly I was talking about this:
  6. Oh whoops, mistyped a 9 as a 6. Apparently o.have vertical dyslexia. Yes I know that's not how it works.
  7. Well, agile project management is a method of product development in which you create a working model of whatever you're selling as quickly as possible, in order to provide a sample that end users can give feedback on so you can improve/make changes as necessary. It's pretty popular in the software development in industry in particular, because new software is particularly divisive when implemented, so this way you can find out if a method of doing things is going to be rejected without spending several months and thousands of dollars developing it. Ladies Sexy Lingerie is a type of girls' underwear/bras, designed with the intent of making the wearer more sexually attractive.

I would not at all be surprised if that's what happened. It would be pretty fitting. They could make it a multi-season villain, too, though I think they've said the plotlines for each season are going to be different. My theory is that it's because there was no Korra in it. Also none of the other annoying characters who are getting angry over nothing at all, and the villain is actually villainous, and not just someone who we're told is evil, but may have had legitimate points if they didn't have such over the top reactions. But mostly the no Korra thing.

It's been stated that there have been thousands of Avatars, I'm pretty sure. I mean, the Avatar always sits at the center of strife and war in the world, trying to keep balance, so how likely is it that they get to live long, peaceful lives? Non-killed, non-hindered Avatars have got to be the exception, not the norm. Even if there are just a few, though, that seems like pretty superfluous information. Maybe it coulnd be well served as an extra thing, on like a site for fans or whatever. Seems like they would rather keep the information so they had it for use later if they ever needed it.

  11. Relevant: [hide=On the left, this thread. On the right, General Discussion] [/hide] I don't know if General Discussion actually fits this description, but if anywhere does, it's that forum. It's supposed to be zombie orgy wednesday or smth, but idc.

Yeah it is weird. 32 Degrees for freezing is and some number i forgot for boiling is harder to remember than it should be You know what's easy to remember? 100 degrees for it's [bleep]ing hot, and and 0 degrees for it's [bleep]ing cold. You know what's tough to remember? It's like 30 degrees is pretty hot, but it could be worse depending on where you are, wheras -10 is probably [bleep]ing cold, but I think maybe below zero is also pretty cold, I'm not sure? You're right though, no one knows farenheit's boiling number, it's p. dumb.

I knew it! He has literally posted where he goes to school before in this thread, and it's in his location info. This is not news.
  14. Well, I did by getting 50 friends and some change, getting annoyed at the random stuff I was seeing, and deciding to keep it below 50 because that was the nearest round number.
  15. It means that, when you add people you want, you have to remove people you don't want/care about. It forces you to prune the list. You just set the number to be higher than the number of people you'll want on your facebook feed at any given time.
  16. I thought it was really bad, actually. But that's just my opinion on "cute dragons" I guess.

I swear to god, I legitimately found one of these self generating information loops. I'm doing a research paper on arts education, and every source but one I've used so far has claimed a "meticulously researched premise -- that students flourish when creativity drives learning" at a minimum of twice in some form or another. I have yet to see any form of this supposed research, even just something with numbers that suggests there's maybe a correlation between artistic education and critical thinking, let alone anything definitively proving causality. And it's [bleep]ing pissing me off because I feel like this is true, but there's nowhere I can say "see look, this is proven!" Just places I can say, "see look, this biased dude agrees with me!"
  19. Wait, you're a GIR? (GRASS ELF QIGE LEADER MAY LIKE)
  20. More videos than anything, really.
  21. He looks angry at you taking his picture. Or maybe just tired of your shit. I was going to ask if you knew whether he was a boy for sure, then decided to google and make sure that was something you could determing (because it isn't sometimes, okay?) and so I typed in to google "Hedgehog sex" and I'll let you just imagine how that turned out.
