2012 U.S. Elections - President Obama Re-elected
That's like saying referees in a football game are biased towards one side because the other team got more penalties. Without a complete breakdown of the interruptions that statistic means nothing. "I'm going to chose to ignore this statistic because it doesn't fit my narrative." This isn't a football game. The only real "penalty" a candidate could have is going over the time limit Or lying Or making things up Or talking about something other than the question etc.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
The difference between an A and a B on this java program was literally a break in the default on a switch. One line of code. She [bleep]ing said that she didn't care whether we had it. What's more, there are other teachers who require it, others who require you to not have it, others who don't give a shit like she said she did. Oh my [bleep]ing god I hate this class so much right now. I almost want to change majors to some bullshit major so I don't have to deal with this. It's not that I don't understand what I'm doing, and it's not that I'm doing things incorrectly. The only times I've ever lost points are for bullshit tiny things like having the opening curly braces on the same line as the if statement, or for using things we haven't learned yet outside of the main section of the code. Argh, I just want to punch someone.

Bronies: Love it or Hate it?
To be fair, sometimes you don't discover something unless it's being shoved in your face. I mean, I pestered my roommates for a couple weeks to watch Avatar before they did, and they really enjoyed it. We watched the whole thing in less than a week, between school and work and different schedules, and after the first session they always started without me, so it's not like I'm just assuming they liked it. I also feel like the Brony community has calmed down *a lot* in the last year. When it started up, it was as bad as any other meme, with references anywhere they didn't fit, but I don't see it nearly as much any more. I'm unsure if this is solely because I'm on the internet less now, but it's not like I visit fewer sites than I used to; if anything, I surf a wider variety now than I have in the past.

I am quite fed up with having a crappy math teacher. This is the second time I've had no clue how to do an assignment, despite going to class and paying attention and taking good notes on the lecture. I've spent 4 hours, at least, on just half of this assignment, and I don't know what I'm doing, and there's absolutely no reason I shouldn't know what I'm doing because these concepts aren't that advanced. It's put me in a terrible mood all day, I haven't gotten anything else done today even though I needed to, and I'm probably not even going to get it done in time to turn it in tomorrow because I have another [bleep]ing class right afterwards that I have to get shit done for. This is absolute bull shit. I want to go back to high school, for real. Rant over.

I always flip the guitar over and shake it over my head until it comes out. It worked every time until I stopped using a pick.

I think part of it is that you personally were afraid of the big kids when you were young, and most of the kids around you were to, so anyone who wasn't was an outlier you don't remember. But now that you are a big kid, the quiet kids who are afraid of the big kids aren't nearly as noticeable, because they're quiet and scared, so it feels to you that all young kids are rude and annoying. Or at least that's the way I've interpreted it.

:P Yes Hawks, you can't take the log of a negative number. A positive number to a power will never output a negative number. Edit: Though, that is also log 4.5 (-3.5) If that helps you any. It's still not solvable, but that's a different form that may help depending on the context of the problem.

To be fair, if you aren't going 35 mph, you don't want to be on the street either. I agree that if you're on a super busy sidewalk, you should walk, but if there's just a few pedestrians, the sidewalk is 200 percent safer.

I'm guessing you read some of your earlier posts? Looking at those and other things I did in the past makes me want to shoot myself sometimes. Luckily, such things aren't publicly well-known. Even worse - I posted on Facebook.

Heart conditions suck, I feel for ya dude. Though, according to others, the scars from heart surgery look bad ass. I'm not sure I agree, but hey, whatever. In other news, tonight I checked my bank account's balance online. I opened it up, and there's about 850 dollars on there that's not supposed to be there. I check the balance, and the payment I made on Saturday for tuition has just magically disappeared. I had checked it Saturday night to make sure it went through, and it had, since I only had about 700 dollars in there. So I checked my tuition dues on my school's website, and they're gone too - I apparently don't owe anything, but I didn't pay it either. I don't want to [bleep]ing deal with this. I hope to god that this was my Regent's Scholarship finally kicking in and paying the rest of my tuition like it promised, because otherwise I'm going to end up paying late fees and dealing with shit, and I'll still be out $850 I shouldn't have had to pay. Argh. This isn't even worth it, seriously. Also, I paid $30 for an album tonight. Apparently I think I'm rich or something.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra
I bought the first one a few months back, and I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure the comics are worth 11 bucks apiece. It took me half an hour to read, while I was sitting in my friends car joyriding around and getting interrupted every couple of seconds. I'll probably just find it online like I did with the second. I am excited to see the ending, though. I'm very happy with how well it captures the essence of TLAB.

Someone estimated that if the people are 6 feet tall it scales to about 10 km wide. Spent quite a while looking around! Made it to both side edges and all the way through the caves. Found a map someone made where you can zoom in and out. A bit disappointed that there aren't more things hidden in the blank areas, but there is some cool stuff. Caves? My god, am I going to have to go back and spend *another* hour looking at that thing?

http://www.wolframal...c^3(x) integral Hope that makes sense. Problem is, I need to know *how* to integrate it, not what the integral is. I have a calculator that can solve any integral it's possible to solve, but we have to show all of our work, and since the problem is literally "Do the integral of sec3(x)," I can't just use my calculator/wolfram alpha. Wolfram Alpha was one of the first places I went when I realized I couldn't do the problem, but either it won't show the steps, or I don't know how to get it to.
