- It's Super Effective!

This place needs some words...
Actually, I thought the dialogue was excellent. It felt like a distinct dialect without ever being over the top and super obvious. I'm really jealous of people who can write realistic dialogue, because I can't. I will say, however, that reading through it aloud is not a bad idea. You have a lot of issues with grammar, in particular with your use of commas/punctuation. While it's ok to bend the rules of grammar for someone who is speaking, you don't generally want to do so in your narration unless it serves a purpose. For example: That's just your first few sentences. It continues pretty consistently the whole way through, and it's jarring when the pace of your reading is interrupted. If you try reading it aloud, read the pauses you've written in. Don't pause unless there's a comma or period, pause a short time for a comma and a longer time for a period. It can make a huge difference in your writing. Overall, it's pretty impressive. The imagery is nice, the dialogue is awesome, and you've obviously done a lot of work on your world building for this. Good job.

I don't think that he'd be into that D= You know, I wasn't at first either, but Jimmy convinced me. He's a very good convincer.

It's Super Effective!
Am I the only person who loves stormy weather? I know tropical storms are understandable because they can wreck your shit, but rain and winds > sun. :3 EDIT: I found out why I haven't been getting the feel of Nuzlocking a Pokemon game. It seems my schizoid tendencies (or maybe I am too rational and know its a game) to really feel shocked or saddened whenever I get a casualty. I lost Erickson the Tympole (was almost there to getting it a Palpitoad) and nearly lost Waddles the Pignite, but I pretty much did nothing but yawn in response. Maybe I should just do it regular instead. Add to your rules that you can't use pokemon centers except to heal pp. Otherwise it has to all be items. That should up the difficulty.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
So basically no one with a relationship worth saving needs help. Gotcha.

#-o Well played, all of you. I'll just be going now.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Your first piece of advice was to jump ship for another girl. Or, I suppose, to get with another girl, maybe without jumping ship. Whichever.

Sometimes? That's seriously half the advice on this thread. Especially if the romance is already going and is just hitting some rocks. I mean seriously...

Today...
I went through that a week ago Hawks. It was really hard for me to tell my mom to leave, and a couple of times I almost started crying before she was gone, but once she left, things just started getting better. I hung out with my roommates and got free food, so it was ok. If you absolutely can't find the time to talk to her and you need to, then call her. I'm sure she would love to talk to you and help out. It's what moms are for. Got my new phone in today. It's my first smartphone, which will be interesting. It's nice to have my own phone now though, so I can actually give out my number and call people and what not. Even though I won't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you legally have to stop before you make a right turn at a stoplight? I'm also going to guess that being an [wagon] to someone is not the best way to convince him that racism is wrong. Regardless of whether or not you're actually part of the race he hates.

Real life pictures - 4
Can I bring some friends? Only if Goon is one of them Oh you know it. There's an approximately 50% chance we are in the same town now, so I can just go chloroform him if necessary.

Thanks RPG. That'll help. Tonight there was a game thingamabob hosted by the college. I totally won a $50 visa card, which is freakin' awesome. That doubled the amount of money I have now, so I feel a little more secure even though I don't have a bank account set up yet. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow, and hopefully my phone comes in tomorrow so I can start getting people's numbers and whatnot. It should be good.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I'll support this if you support me in my belief that we should be able to run down jaywalkers (at least the ones who saunter and force you to slow down/stop). It is legal. At least where I live, if you get hit crossing the street on a red light or not at a crosswalk, you're liable. Huh? I was told in my Business Law class that any time a pedestrian is hit by a vehicle, the driver is liable. I had this argument with my friend, because I was certain it was the way you say. I looked it up, and he was right; it's the pedestrian's liability, at least in my home town. I don't know why. Surely they can't be liable if you see them and then floor the gas pedal? I think we decided that they're liable, but that you're going to be in prison for attempted murder.

Today...
Moved in to my dorm today. Have a couple of pretty cool roommates, though the fourth seems kinda douchey. He's been gone most of today, though, and when we got back just now (a little past midnight), he was gone. Dunno where he is. I moved in, and getting everything unpacked went surprisingly smoothly. My roommates and I went to a welcoming thing the RAs were putting on; they gave out walking tacos and showed a movie. The walking tacos were worth the rather cold movie (it was outside). Then we helped a couple guys move their couches back into their dorm rooms, and got roped into playing a game called signs. It was a lot of fun, a cool icebreaker game, and I had fun. I do have a question, though, that maybe you guys can help me with. How does one turn the people he meets at things like this, where there are 20-30 people he doesn't know in a room playing a game, into friends? Like, what do you do afterwards; find them and just say hello, or what? I really need to make some friends, and fairly quickly. Hopefully before classes start.

Stanced/Slammed/DUMPED Cars
I have a friend who, while not this low, had a car that was built really low to the ground. It handles bumps exactly how you would expect: it scrapes bottom. One time we were speeding back to school from lunch, and we hit a particularly bad dip. The girl sitting in the back smashed her head into the ceiling a foot and a half above her. It was amazingly funny.
