  1. Don't laugh at my pain... *shreds self*

  2. 6-7K polygons on one weapon is really gonna dip FPS. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of particles.
  3. Before update: 40-50 FPS in spawn/light combat, 25-30 in heavy combat. After absolutely [cabbage] and OP update: 10-20 FPS in spawn/light combat, 1-5 FPS in heavy combat. Nice work!
  4. right behind you~

  5. My email notifications are always on because that way I get emails....

    -forever alone-

  6. Of course they do, they don't call it a 'bomb' for no reason...
  7. zer is a distinct lack of orange on this page.

    i shall rectify zis problem.

  8. Basically, yeah. It's like lighter and darker versions of TS, but also there's Cream Spirit which dyes the hat a little orange/cream. Waterlogged lab coat is okay too.
  9. Indeed, they should really reintroduce them in some new crates, but then they've got those new paints aswell (Balaclava's are Forever is hot).
  10. I'm planning on painting my Chapeau white and my Made Man black, but that's about 4 refined in total ATM... I've got 0 metal after getting a strange amby and knife :l
  11. Hey! So is mine! Oh Marvin Gaye, you amazing singer (not really). Also, I was checking out to see what my favourite Hat/Misc combo for the Spy would look if I added in my beloved Made Man... I cannot wait for two misc slots.
  12. In experience, C&D runs out of cloak as I'm running before I can make it effective for Stalk kills. And by the time you've actually killed somebody, there'll be someone trailing behind you and you're cloak is extremely low (making you an easy target because you can really escape far with the C&D). Again, in experience, when sitting above targets waiting for a leaping stab using the IW, I always get the first target because I'm ready to go (as I'm uncloaked - thus not wasting cloak charge). With the C&D, however, players have this weird additional fear of being caught, so a lot of players will stayed cloaked - it's this that slows you down. You see the target, uncloak, and, by the time you've uncloaked (2 seconds), the target is outside your effective range. I'd think so too, but, due to the amount of time you're spending crouch walking to the spawn, you're also leaving a trail - opening doors, cloak/uncloak sound, and that makes players suspicious. Let's say you open a door and there's a Pyro. You're on half-cloak with the C&D - you can't run far because you'll go into blink cloak, and you can't stand still because the Pyro's flames will catch you. With the IW, you're half empty on cloak. You can run a lot further, and, if near the battle field, pick up and fallen ammo and make a quick escape in several different routes. Of course, this is all hypothetical, but still. A lot of it happens. OT: I got a Strange Ambassador today from a friend :3 I love it. It's going to be literally all Sniper w/ Razorback kills, I know it. That's all I use it for. That and taking out Engie's from a distance. Speaking of taking Engie's down from a distance, on pl_barnblitz, if you're on RED, go to the top of the tower while you're defending the final cap. There's all sorts of beautiful things to snipe with the Amby - charged medic's standing around, Engies and their buildings, and no one checks up there because it's so high up. Of course, once you get a couple of kills, people will realise where you are, but even then the DR is perfect for that situation <3: Also, H2PM, Jule's furious anger: Pulp Fiction?
  13. I'll break it down for you: Invis watch advantages: Covers a huge amount of ground, the most of all 3 cloaks Not motion sensitive, so you can run + crouch jump to cover even more ground while not costing cloak time Can be refilled, mid-journey, with Metal pickups and fallen weapons Forces you to do something rather than stand around looking at the targets go past In response to the Engi nest and the C&D being useful there, standing on top of a Dispenser (one place an Engi never looks) will keep you cloaked (as long as you're disguised, the Dispenser will heal you and keep you cloaked) and, if it's level 2/3, replenish the IW entirely, keeping you invisible at the same time Excellent for stalk kills Excellent for creating illusions Disadvantages: When running away, premature uncloak can be fatal (nothing a fallen weapon can fix, though) Cloak and Dagger advantages: Can refill infinitely by standing still Does not uncloak when you're out of cloak Good for start of round, especially Payload, when waiting for everyone the enemy to kill your first wave of attack, and start pushing the cart Disadvantages: Is capable of illusions, but you'll end up running out of cloak very fast due to the fact that you'll be running 25% faster maximum drain rate Standing still = Wasting time, points and the chance to make an impact on the game A lot of the time, the target you were going to kill would have wandered out of effective range because you're too slow to think Less ground covered Requires you to crouch to be effective cloak/distance-wise Takes triple the time to get to vital targets 95% of the time, you'll end up meeting an enemy Pyro/Demoman who was Spy-checking just as soon as you got to where you wanted to be (ALWAYS happens to me) This is all from experience and from working with TF Wiki for some time. I left out obvious things, like Shimmer and being set of fire.
  14. How was it? :3

  15. Yes it does, so with the DR, it's the most OP weapon for the Spy. Also, an Unusual Team Captain with Flames went for $1500. $400 Unusuals are cheap in most cases. Dead Ringer's sound can generally be unheard if you can get to a good enough place. Literally I can uncloak behind someone with the DR and they won't notice because of the extreme gunfire and explosion spam going around. Have you given the Invis Watch a go?
  16. I accidentally my whole Vintage Pain Train. Made me die a little inside when I saw someone buying one for 2 Refined. :cry: Also, Tim, there is no V. Vita-Saw, otherwise I'd have one. I love the Vita-Saw.
  17. Demo, in all seriousness, Cloak and Dagger should only ever be used at the beginning of the round when you're on the RED team, waiting, in position, for the game to start. Otherwise it just promotes laziness. Whenever I use it, I find myself going "Ooh a Heav--- oh wait no too late... Ah! A Soldie-- too late...", you get the picture. Invis Watch/DR is a lot better for covering ground (including the fact that you can pick up metal and fallen weapons) and forces you to act instead of just sitting around watching all the good targets go by. In other news, I got myself a Strange Knife :3
  18. LOL "Come back here [bleep]" *zooms into ass* Great video.
  19. Man, what a douchebag. Maybe there's an email out there you could contact them or something. I hope that guy gets what he deserves :l

  20. Uhh... did someone steal your 'Vengeance' work and submit it to Jagex, or is your name really Graziro now?

  21. We like sunflower seeds (crump-crump-crump)

  22. Aww, the midnight showing ;3;

    That sounds excitingg, have fun!

  23. What? No one else wants to see HP? D;

    Convince someone to gooo! It's more fun with friends. What about Dave?

  24. As much as it really bugs me when I get killed by a Demoknight, I ended up crafting the final piece of the set today - the Persian Persuader. Most fun I've had in awhile.
