Magic logs(change of question to monkfish)
Depressing is damn right, but I'm bored to tears of combat... Hmmm, is fishing any better?

Magic logs(change of question to monkfish)
I have 76 woodcutting, and I've decided to chop magic logs for money. About how much money per hour can I get this way? Chaaange of question: How much money/hour can I get fishing monkfish? 73 fishing.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Oh, that's bad. That's horrid. I bet they have a whole section of the company devoted to making puns. Iiiit's a summoning update.

Dream Mentor
Bring sharks and ice burst the hell outta all of 'em (I didn't do this since my magic was n00b at the time, but since you can you should). When you get the first down really low, run to next to the podium so it's facing you at such an angle that when the next one spawns it gets stuck on said podium; this will make it VERY EASY which is GOOD since the first one, at least for me, sent me through like 15/20 sharks, and i had higher stats than you. DO NOT attempt to safe the first one, however, as that jackass has magic. The rest only melee (YAY!), however, so feel free to stick 'em on the podium and ice 2 and 3. Also, the ice is helpful to give you more time to position yourself, and extra time is always good. 4, however, is _annoying_. Best way is to stand in the middle with the camera angle lowest (you can see the whole island this way), wait for the yellow dot to appear on the minimap, and when it does spin the camera around and blast it. Rinse and repeat until it's dead. Set up... Um. I don't know, exactly, since I fumbled along and picked out stuff that looked useful that I've now forgotten... Fairly certain I had a whip in there for the first one, and then my best (modern book, 'cause I sucked) spell for 2-4, so I had a mix of magic and melee offense and I think i focused on melee defense, since the first only mages you if you're out of range of its melee, and the others are all pure melee so you'd want to either tank or safe them. ... I only sort of know what I'm talking about here, okie? :P

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
Thats actually not that bad, it is probably staff speed but it can dish out some serious melee damage. But it's a staff. Why in the world did Jagex name it a staff, but make it a sword. It might as well be called Sword of Light. Maybe because it's a staff/sword/awesomething? Because it is a staff, a really epic one that looks like a Sara sword. I'm looking at the stats and going 'oohhhh! If the prices ever go down I want it for castle wars so it can double as a melee weapon when my runes run out. ' Also, spectilation: SS and SoL are related in more than just looks. C'mon, guys, Jagex wouldn't be that lazy... Right? Right? XD

stackin bonuses
But the 5% gain is not worth the stat loss of a fury (Maybe not even worth a glory). What about the +10% from the salve(e)? SInce really, you'd be a fool to not enchant the ammy. (Sorry, I mean +10% OVER the black mask.)

73-75 magic
Depends how lucky you get w/ prices. A few months ago red d'hide vambs were profit, and I think they are again, or were a bit before i posted this topic (but they're like 2k a pop, so.) And with magic I've given in and don't (much) mind a loss so long as it's less than 1m, but OGOD I HATE ALCHING so don't ask me about it pl0x -dies- Gotta guide on that, or a link to a guide, or a miniguide to copy-pasta as a reply? :P Edit: to Zaaps: Waterbirth is also a pain in the [wagon] to get into T_T

73-75 magic
Not that I don't find the allure of Ancients incredibly tempting, but... it's too expensive!!! (FYI my cash pile is 4m but subtract 1m since I like having a semi-cushy pile)

73-75 magic
Okay, I am officially sick and tired of alching. What's something else that's low loss/break even or profit that's available at 73 magic?

Have you ever lost a friend?
I lost one to death when he was 49, in may 2007, and the Earth is down one very awesome punster. I lost one to growing apart, though I still see her about three times a year. I lost one to her being too damn noisy, upbeat, and intrusive, and I have to deal with her for two weeks a year.

RIGHT. Well, every time they roll back I'm switching servers, 'cause, well... 'cause. We may as well focus on learning how to do everything faster, and experiment, since everything we do will be erased anyway. And not bothering with building an alliance... -sigh-

Tip.it Times 17 January 2010
I liked the first article; it certainly makes sense of the complicated 'why oh why can the Menaphite pantheon and Zaros still do things directly'? And it does bring up a good point: WHY do the Magicks still drain prayer after you complete the Temple at Sennisten? You'd think that Zaros at least tolerates you and would want you to more easily pwn his enemies... Unless the prayer drain isn't at all related to him. The second article was m'eh, and I haven't and don't plan to read the fictional article.

Vampires
Good idea. It occurs to me that the vampires west of Burgh de Rott are just regular vampires, no silly extra equipment necessary to kill them and there are no leaches either. They are located around the area where you enter/start the quest Haunted Mine. You can jump over the fence from Burgh. they are also packed close together. Oh... oh heeey! Yeah, I remember killing those last time I got a vampire assignment... d'oh, how did I forget about there?

Vampires
I went a'checking the RSWiki, and apparently Vampyre Juvinates only count if you get them to 50% health, use the Rod/Flail of Ivandis special, they get pissy, and then you kill them. Otherwise, the i versus y makes a serious difference. Edit: You use the spec, then guthix balance, and if THAT makes them pissy they count. (Leaving out steps confuses people! XD) The special just freezes them. (I suck!) Lol. I'd rather deal with the leaches! Oh well. I'm going to go see how many levels I'd need to get 105 combat... yaaaay, break from slayer!
