You don't need to use a cannon or even use controlled to get an untrimmed HP cape. HP is currently my highest combat skill, and I trained more than 3/4 of my mage with non-combat spells, and use the circus weekly for mage and range xp. I might get an untrimmed HP cape :-k

This only works with 1 skill at a time though, and if you want to do more (ie. see what your hp will be after 70 attack and defense) you have to do some weighty number-juggling.

Do the brothers just have an extremely high melee defense? Because I could normally hit much better with a whip than what I've been doing with slayer dart. Also, one more question that shows what a complete barrows noob I am (I've really only done about 6 trips). Less chests a trip implies more than one.. How should I go about this? Just drink a dose of prayer potion after my first chest and go do Dharok and Karil? Currently, I just use a house teletab after my 1st chest, recharge prayer, and portal to Canifis. Well, every chest, you get a specific number of runes and coins. It averages about 300 minds, 120 chaos, 75 deaths, 40 bloods, 38 bolt racks, and anywhere from 10-1000 coins PER brother killed. Everyone always kills all 6. This basically makes it impossible not to profit unless you die, or are using pvp armour or weps (lol). The more brothers you kill, the better chance you have of getting a rare item, which can be barrows armour, a dragon med, or a half key. Personally, I'd love a barrows helm, as they're the most expensive. For example, Verac's helm is 3M, but Verac's brassard and plateskirt combined are just over 1M.

It happened to me all the time trying to mine coal with just 3 respawns in F2P. The other guy would gloat that he got it and I'd tell him that I did too.

Currently, I'm slayer darting barrows with a Helm of Nietznot and Verac's Brassard and Plateskirt. I was wondering how much more difficult it would be to simply melee most of barrows in this setup with a whip, slayer darting Dharok's if he was in my tunnel (would this help at all, or would I just be better of drinking a sip of a pray potion and meleeing him?). Also, could anyone give me numbers on the cost of using a black salamander there, and if that's worth it? I said I was working on getting it, I think I was 77 when I told you. :lol: I was planning on getting 80 then going to barrows, but decided that 79 was good enough and that I didn't feel like another 4 hours of yak-killing today. :P So anyways, wish me luck on my first barrows trip.
