I'd like Medieval more if it was a bit more balanced. Right now a few classes with a few weapons can dominate. Maybe weapons only available in Medieval, with everyone starting with the same basic bow/sword and finding upgrades only while playing Medieval.

My pet died. Ah well, not a huge fan of pets. Working on making an evil hero for duels now.

Does ancients work? I might just have horrible luck with splashes.

As far as I have experienced mage does not damage the doors; it has to be range. Other than that, nice description.

Summoning had a limit set last weekend at 10% bonus xp; and herb is possibly going to be nerfed next weekend as well (assuming it will happen eventually). One can always hope, though :thumbup: OT: Jagex seems to be doing 2 a year or so, but since we've only had 2, there's no good way to tell.

It is impossible to get in yourself, but the "burstinglobs" clan chat always has groups waiting to get in; join it and you shouldn't have any problem. +75 isn't ideal, but you'll do fine if that's all you have.

A little less than two weeks, I think. It was weird how I didn't get any kind of notice or confirmation about it.

I'm typing this in a car going 60 miles an hour in the middle of Iowa - Verizon's 3G network is pretty nice. 100MB a month is barely anything though; I've checked my email and browsed TIF for less than 10 minutes with no images loaded and I'm already at 98MB left.

Bought it finally :thumbup: I played for the weekend free trial a while back and loved it, finally got it today with a Discover gift card present. Now I know this sounds obvious, but.. what are the differences between TF2 and TF2 beta? Does anything transfer between the two?

Razer Imperator (gaming mouse), new computer chair, $25 discover card (promptly used on tf2 + unreal pack on steam), boxers, HP7 wii game (definite crap, going to return), a masterlock speed dial (4 directions for combo instead of numbers), an awesome mechanical pencil with a clutch that rotates the lead so it always has a point, a chocolate orange, peppermint bark, a few books, monty python's holy grail, buckyballs (soo fun) and some other stuff.

Whatever you do, don't buy a godsword. Whips are much better for slaying, and there are many better uses for your money. Guthans is basically obsolete with bunyips and Enhanced Excalibur - invest in training some skills if you can't use either. I would personally spend it on herblore, but if you really don't want to, 70 prayer and some decent barrows top and legs are good things to buy :thumbup:

In my opinion, the best way would be to use an existing pc or laptop. Find an output jack on your computer, then find an input jack on your tv. Buy a cable that converts from one to the other for less than $20. A lot of new tvs have vga (coded blue) inputs, so you can just get a vga-vga cable. Some graphics cards have hdmi outs that can be connected straight to your tv, or dvi outs that can be converted to hdmi through a cheap cable.

My main problem is a lack of Java support (facedesk). They are planning on updating this, though. Otherwise, it's easy to use and a good netbook.

They don't let you know if you've made it, it just shows up in the mail. You get 100mb of 3G per month free (basically nothing). I'm not sure about it yet, but it's free, so not much complaining on my part.

I was fortunate enough to get one in the mail today. Has anyone else here applied for or recieved one? What do you think about Chrome OS? Due to parental problems I can't open it yet, but it's a cool box :thumbup: [hide][/hide]

Sadly, the most popular bots actually inject themselves into the client and have full acess to item ids, among other things... I think I saw a screenie somewhere. EDIT: Now if only Jagex could rotate every item id every update.. That would be awesome (and probably horrible for them trying to keep track of everything).
