Forgot the part about "PROFIT" I just dont like the Idea of charms from minigames. I would be 100% ok if it was experience (its just me im "off"). The only way you should be able to get charms is through monster hunting. I think with this game we might have a "pest control" with charm type rewards that you can just do half-assed and get charms. I just dont like the idea that special students get to post up senseless rants that make no sense what so ever, but people still do it anyways. Just because there is another avenue of receiving charms does not make it the end of the world. But if it means that much to you, I will write Jagex a letter or something and of course they will listen to us as we band together to defeat the infidels and make Summoning a Kill monster only skill. Dear Jagex, As my "esteemed" colleague has wished, probably on a genie lamp he just got, we would like to make Summoning a kill monster only skill. That means you should recode all your free exp methods incapable of supplying Summoning exp. These methods are to include, Tears of Guthix Mini-game, Genie lamps, book of knowledge, other exp lamps, and any other method that I may have overlooked, such as that new mini-game Soul Wars. So please, I beg of you, for the sake of world peace and taco tuesdays, to make Summoning a kill monster only skill.

Earlier today I challenged a Miss War 18 to a friendly race to see who can achieve 99 fishing first. After deciding to start fishing until I figured out something better to do, I stumbled across her blog thread. So I figured it was time for me to start up my fishing blog. The interactions of a trade prior to the GE was as impersonal and robotic as human interaction can get. Buy, sell, get the heck out of there. Or waste countless hours trying to sell 100k worth of (insert items here). As a "corporate businessman" you should comprehend the concept of time equalling cash. You wanted to make serious cash? The GE was the way to do it. It is here for you, and you whine like a little girl. (no offense to little girls). The GE allows you to place your items for sale and it will sell and hold your income for you while you are off acquiring additional inventory to sell. Jagex has also given you countless ways to interact with people and it is not their fault you fail at all of those. Last I checked while you are mining ess, you can use your fingers on that thing called a keyboard and say hi to people and thus causing the interactions with humans you have been so deprived of by the incorporation of the GE into this game. that is all.. I would have to agree with those who said Gold Pieces. The All-mighty GP has been the source of all the freakin Drama that has revolved around the December Updates. Gold Farmers, Auto-ers, and RWT'ers happened because of the GP. Jagex did all that to save their GP

If you do the Tears of Guthix mini-game every week and each time you gain exp in a combat skill, you are definitely a skiller

How did the updates affect me? I used to sell my finished good at 50% lower than the the going market price because I just wanted to offload the items QUICK. Before the GE, i would sell cooked lobster at about 100 ea because I just wanted to get rid of them and i always did quick. Now with the GE, I am "forced" to sell my cooked lobsters at the current market price. Now people complain that prices on goods in RS has dropped dramatically, and I do feel for them, but it helped me out since now I have to sell things at the higher price. I sell EVERYTHING i offload at the lowest price which is still much higher than prices I normally sold everything at when there was no GE. So yes, I have been affected by the updates, I can now cut and fish without auto'ers and I make on average 50-75% more money than i used to without sacraficing my time trying to find a buyer. So I thank you Jagex for making the game many times more efficient for players like myself.

In a rants forum, people post up to find validation, simpathy and also people to agree with them. But on the flipside, be mature enough to realize that there are going to be people who don't care about the OPs situation, and will express it. They have as much of a right to say what they have to say about the situation in which the OP is in. If you go voice your opinion or rants on a public board, be prepared to take the good and the bad with a grain of salt. And about the economy, compfreak847 is completely right in a nutshell. This is a game where it is exp driven. He explained it all and its a simple matter of economics.

As a skiller, i do believe that if they play in a pvp world, they deserve to die. Please kill all the pvp skillers.. =)

Yes I do beleive that the threadstarter should really get over it. The other player played within the rules of the game and you got to learn to deal with it. And for all we know, you could have just conjured this story up to gather some attention to yourself. Its a game, big deal, you didnt get the kill. Instead of whining over it, go find someone else to kill.

But let me say that even though that "joke" you told may have been funny, historically, you can use the Spanish navy as an analogy since they lost a great part of their GREAT Armada going against the british. Or even use the Persians vs the Athenian Navy. But I understand the French joke. Back on topic. Think beforeyou speak because your ignorant mouth may get you in trouble, which it did. When playing a game that is played internationally, you may never know if you are fishing next to a French Naval officer who has a lot of pride in his navy, as lacking as you think they may be. To use every skill you have to your advantage. It is just plain common sense. So to counter those idiots who scream def noob, call them Common Sense noobs or something like that.

[/hide] I was never a PKer, and even I admit that the wilderness was a place that one could go to have fun. If you're laughing at the loss, you're really just as bad as the players who want to remove Skills because RWTs used them to get money. There is such a thing as too far into an extreme. Those who want to get rid of skills are the same morons who do not understand that PK is not a skill, but an expendable part of a game that decided that PK should not exist the way it used to. Those are the same idiots who doesn't realize that this game brings in bottomline dollars for a multimillion dollar/pound company that saw PKing as an acceptable loss in order to preserve the game and thus bringing in revenue. PK is dead, yay and good riddance. To me, Pking is a totally pointless part of the game. I am so happy it is gone. Okay, so are you ignoring all my posts on this matter? I'm not saying that Botting = RWTing, but just the opposite, that RWT = Botting. It's because MOST (not all) of the RWTer's collected their gold from resource-gathering Bots. How can you say the two are not interconnected? Because often, there was an actual human worker behind the bot, I'd think. Fact... with the erradication of most RWT'ing, there has been a stoppage of the use of botting and macroing. The last comment you made which I quoted is an assumption you made not based off anything other than what you think. There is a definite corelation with botting and RWT.

You are just not very bright or at least lack the simplist of common sense and level of maturity. You cannot use offensive language. Well in some cultures pictures and characters not found on a traditional keyboard can be seen as words and used as written communication. Hieroglyphics is an ancient form of written communication used by an ancient civilization and they use pictures, which is what you were making an attempt at and you got a blackmark because of. One of the purposes of this forum is to point out negativity. A REAL rant is when you screw up, die an unusual death doing something routine, or get screwed on drops. Those are some examples of real rants that will get you sympathy. But people who come on to complain about updates and crap that happened 7 months ago is just plain getting old. And yes you will hear the STOP COMPLAINING reply from people. I see more complaining about the dumbest things in this game. If you hate something so much, I don't see any point in supporting or using a product from a company that you hate with a passion that you obviously do. I for one agree with a lot, if not most of the updates of Jagex in the past year. 1. The GE. Many of you hate it for some reason, it makes me more money than I ever did. I used to sell my skilling finished products at a very low undercutting price because time is money for me. I never liked hanging out on forums looking for buyers. So I sold them dirt cheap to get rid of them. Example, cooked lobbies for 100gp ea before the update. Now I sell them at market price and I dont have to waste my time finding a player at a certain location in a certain world. 2. Trade limits. I rarely traded so it doesnt bother me one bit. 3. PKing. I never cared for it and it never really affected me. So killing it off had no real impact on me other than prices going south, but i got over that quick. I used to sympathize with Pkers, but now, I am so glad that PK'ers lost the one thing that made them happy in RS, because most of the ones around here are the biggest whiners in the history of the world. 4. Summoning. Eh, just another skill, no biggie. Doesn't bother me. So all in all, most of the updates that Jagex did enhanced my game and made it better and easier for me to play. I am happy with those updates. Do I feel sorry that you lost everything you enjoyed? Nope, I am happy. Why? Because I couldn't care one bit about you. Get over it and STFU. Wait, keep whining, because it gives me something to read to entertain me while I train.
