  1. Just ignore them. They are only being idiotic and you can just ignore them. It is very easy to ignore people in Runescape, so it's best if you just ignore them. Levels aren't everything, but some people just don't understand that.
  2. I quite like getting two of the same monsters in a row, especially if it is a monster I have been to only once, or not been for a long time. Once I finish the first slayer task I am into the swing of the monster, and I have my routine. So when I go back, I go back into my routine and I finish that slayer task quicker than I would of had I got a new task. I think double tasks can be annoying if you hate the task but there is also a good side to them.

    Mining

It's all about speed. If someone has a faster connection than you and they are clicking the rock first, then they will get it before you. With iron ore, once you get to a certain level and you can one hit it, levels don't matter anymore. I think if you come across the situation, just change worlds. Mining does need to be updated but we are just going to have to wait and see if Jagex does something about it.
  4. I think I might give this a go when my usual training gets boring. I think it will be quite fun to do, and just a break from training. As soon as I finish my slayer task I am going to go and give it a go. Might as well try it before I judge it.
  5. You never know what you are getting into if you go on a Private Server. I think you should just steer clear and then you will be certain that nothing will happen to your computer or your Runescape account.
  6. The black market is still around, but it is less accessible now. It is less noticeable. There are still bots and there is still RWT, but their numbers have greatly reduced. All of your proposals would ruin the game, the pking aspect of it would be gone, and the skilling aspect would be ruined as well, an entire game ruined. I think, we should just be glad that RWT and bots have been reduced and be happy playing our game. RWT never left the game, and it is nowhere near as strong as it used to be.
  7. If people use proper English, spell the majority of words correctly and don't shorten words then the filter doesn't affect anything you say. You can have a conversation without the filter interfering. The filter only becomes an annoying if you use words that Jagex feels are inappropriate. Change your use of language, and the filter problem, is gone.
  8. I have always enjoyed Castle Wars, and I'm sure a lot of the low levels love it as well. I think that because in Castle Wars people can do other things rather than fight such as heal other people, or block people, barricade then there shouldn't be a level requirement. Castle Wars does indeed need updating, but level requirements should not be part of that update.
  9. You got a blackmark for breaking the rules. You shouldn't of broke the rules, and ignorance to the rules is no excuse. I suggest reading the rules if you don't fully understand them and stick to them. You should be fine if you do so.
  10. Why do you want people to see Runecrafting the same way you do? If people want to work on a skill for a specific goal, or think a skill is the worst in the world, why do you care. What other people think of Runecrafting doesn't effect you at all. If they think it is boring, it doesn't affect you. I really don't see what your problem is. People leveling up a skill to a certain point annoys you, and because they view Runecrafting in a different way.
  11. I haven't been in the RSOF lately but from what everyone says I see that it is choas. I think that they aren't going to improve anytime soon, so I suggest that if you want a better forum, tip.it or another fansite is probably best to post all your ideas, although they are unlikely to be heard by Jagex.
  12. My parents are exactly computer savvy, so they don't really get what me and my brother are doing when we are on the computer. If she asks what I'm doing while I'm on Runescape, I just say my game and she just shrugs and carries on doing whatever she is doing. We are trusted enough to control our own time spent on the computer which is little anyway, so we only get told to get off the computer if we are on it late, but even then, they only seem to get annoyed at our consoles and the gun sounds while she is lying in bed.
  13. I suggest Sapphire necklaces, and if you enchant them turning them into games necklaces, you could make a profit. It is only something like 2000 to get from level 50 to level 60. I'm doing it myself right now. It is a lot faster than flax and you don't lose any money, but you make money.
  14. I have only recently got members and started training slayer. With the very few tasks I have had so far I usually don't even realise the task is over and end up killing like a few more monsters than I am supposed to until I realise.
  15. If no-one knew there was no rules, then everything would be normal, except the people who usually break the rules, would get away with it, but nothing choatic or anything. If, we did know there was no rules, in Runescape bots would be everywhere. Normal players would use the bots to level themselves. In the real world, well, I don't want to think about it.
  16. I usually set myself a small goal, nothing big. I figure out the best, least boring way of doing, and then I just do it. I have never set myself a big goal, I just don't have the patience for it, which is way my skills are just so terrible, and the amount of money I own is so low.
  17. If today was the last day of summer, then you could be like where is it, but summer isn't over. It lasts longer than just August. So just be patient and it will come when Jagex release it.
  18. I think they are just trying to find out what sort of gamers play their game so that they can update their game to suit the type of gamers who play it. I don't think Runescape will ever move to a console.
  19. I usually add them if people ask to add me and if we have a good conversation for the days that follow they stay added. If we barely talk then I tend to just delete them after a week or so. Which is probably why my friends list seems a bit bare at the minute because I do tend if I don't talk to people for a while I will just delete them just so I can stay organised.
  20. I would level up in a lot of skills that need money, like Herblore and constuction. I would just use it to get all my levels as high as I can as quickly as I can. And any money left over would be used to buy and items like armour that I need, and just general good looking clothes.
  21. I had a good Runescape summer. My overall Runescape goal had some serious work done to it. Shouldn't be long until I complete it now. I didn't do anything really exciting in Runescape, the same old same old. I do think I played on the game less than I usually do because I went out more with none of my friends having any school work. Overall, good Runescpe summer,
  22. I guess I am going to have to do a lot of training to get the skills to fully complete the mini-game. It will have to be added to my ever growing to do list. I am glad about the high req's for this mini-game though. I mean 92 firemaking is hard to get. Maybe this is Jagex's new outlook, make things higher leveled for the high levels. Well good for them.
  23. Not a lot of players are willing to share their alching secrets, because if they did, prices would go up and alching them would make them a loss. If you use a high alch calculator like the one of tip.it you can look at how much items high alch for, and then you can check that against how much an item is to buy plus the nature runes. There are items you can find that make a small profit or break even, but I don't think you will get many players telling you what it is. It's better to just check yourself as prices can change overnight, and something that was good to high alch, is now terrible.
  24. In my school, a girl was widely known for playing Runescape. She didn't have the best character in Runescape, but in school she was hugely popular, the "it" girl. So Runescape didn't seem nerdy anymore. The majority of my friends know I play, but we don't really talk about.
  25. School limits my time the most, and hopefully, when I am finally able to find a job, that will too. Also, sometimes I just don't feel like playing. Runescape is still a great experience for me, but it has changed, and I don't think as a player, I have adapted well to the changes.
