Well, I (and I'm sure others) would be able to help you better if you could post a picture. Here is the how-to guide for taking screenshots and posting them: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 Pretty simple once you know what to do. It's good to know and could come in handy in the future, so might as well learn it.

Yes I was referring to oak doors, that is the fastest expensive way. . . . . . . . . And the fastest not expensive way is oak doors with SC hammers. Really the only choice you need to make is SC or no SC. With SC, you have to play a minigame that you're not interested in (although I don't see why, I think SC is fun); without SC, you have to pay twice as much. And like Ray said, find a good skilling only SC clan and you save a ton of time playing SC.

That's basically what Temple Trekking/Burgh de Rott Ramble is, so like Adam said, hopefully this would be a lot more sophisticated.

This? It was on the second page of General Discussion. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=785331

Well, I haven't seen any personally as I don't woodcut much. All I can say is that if they really are macroing, Jagex will catch them. Especially if they're being as obvious as you say they are.

Fastesy way from 41-55 Crafting? [P2P]
billybob323 replied to Clay_More12's topic in Help and Advice
Actually, if you're interested in glassblowing, it would be worth looking into the lunar spell Superglass Make- assuming you have at least 77 magic and have done the appropriate quest. It can be a pain to do for long periods of time, but you get some nice magic and crafting experience, and it's profitable! If you're interested, here is a nice guide for it. -

I can't say about the Ape Atoll monkeys now, but I remember another time when they messed with them. I think they made it so they wouldn't respawn from the bones or something like that. Anyway, even if they did mess up the monkeys, there's lots of other places to chin. Granted those place aren't quite as good xp, but they're still there. So no, chinning would not be completely screwed if the Ape Atoll monkeys were somehow messed up.

Level 99 Combat - Assigned 44 iron drags.
billybob323 replied to squidsquash's topic in Help and Advice
Proselyte Really your only other option is monk robes- same prayer bonus, far less defence. Unless you have/can afford some god vestments. Edit: Proselyte chest actually gives 2 more prayer than monk top. -
Level 99 Combat - Assigned 44 iron drags.
billybob323 replied to squidsquash's topic in Help and Advice
You don't need food because with the anti-dragonfire shield and anti-dragonfire potions, you have 100% protection from the dragonfire. Add in the protect from melee prayer, and you take no damage at all. Just remember to re-pot when you see the message "Your resistance to dragonfire has run out!" or something like that. -
Bump. I'd like a few more opinions if anyone would spare a moment. If not, I won't bump again as I realize the final decision is ultimately mine alone. I also posted an image in case no one wanted to follow the link.

That depends on your view of hard. If hard means takes a really long time, then it's runecrafting and slayer. If hard means really boring, then it's mining. If hard means a lot of clicking, then it's agility. Honestly, you should just go with whatever skill you like most. But if it were me, I'd go slayer.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to get 70 construction so I can build a gilded altar, and I was hoping remodeling my house before I get that level would save me quite a few planks. I'm not really interested in a dungeon, but I was under the impression that the stealing creation hammers still gave the double xp bonus if you used a workbench. That is also why I wanted my workshop on the ground floor. Sully, thanks for trying to scavenge my studies, but I think that's hopeless because I'm pretty sure you can't delete a room if there's a room above it.

I think it's generally considered best to spend points in this order: 1. Slayer helmet 2. Craft slayer rings ability 3. Block 4 tasks 4. Fletch broad bolts ability then spend the rest of your points on runes for slayer dart. Some people might block the tasks before getting the slayer rings ability, some might do both at the same time. Definitely get the helmet first. Also, don't get the ability to craft the rings if you don't have the level to craft them yet.

Hello Tip.It. There has been quite a bit of talk about construction lately due to the recent update. This has made me concerned that my house is too inefficient, so I've come up with a new plan and would appreciate your advice on it. First of all, here is my current layout, for reference: SQOSUDTIFTMGjMNTQMjQJTUDTaQUJHUNLkMEUQEkTNUUDUbPVJIVOKlNIVQJlQMVUDVaQ Note I am using the RuneHQ calculator here I believe most of you are familiar with it. If not, you just copy the code into the box and click "Use Plans". Pic below if you don't want to follow the link. Here is the new design I am working with: TIOjIITMHjMKTQLTUNTaQUISkIEUMMkMJUQRUUDUbPlJIVNFVSGVWNVZQ Here is a pic if you don't want to go to the site I linked: [hide=Image] The second floor is simply two bedrooms, a parlor, a games room, and a skill hall.[/hide] Things to note: -There is a second floor on both designs. -The western-most garden in my current layout and the southern-most garden in my proposed layout are menageries. -I really do not care if I could "save 2.967 seconds of running if you move the portal rooms closer to the entrance!" -I want to spend as little as possible. I will be using farming to fund this, and I have about 1mil saved up to use on this. -I will be training construction to level 70 before I begin this/as I do this. And now my questions/wanted advice: -Just let me know if you think it's a good layout and would be efficient enough for average scaping. Things such as recharging prayer/summoning, making teletabs, casual construction training, and teleporting. -I am concerned about future expansion in case Jagex releases a new room. This design is pretty much closed off, so I think I would have problems adding on. -I don't want to spend too much money. I already have gilded teak shelves 2 and two gilded mahogany lecturns. Do you see any way I could scavenge my current design? I think the lecturns are pretty hopeless since they are on the second floor. -Should I really be that concerned about my house? As said before, I'm not really interested in saving every second possible, and if Jagex releases a new room I don't really have anywhere to put it. So do you think I should just forget this whole idea? -Just speculation for this: what do you think the odds are Jagex will release an update that lets you rearrange your house for free? I don't want to spend a lot of time and money deleting and rebuilding rooms just to have an update like that come out the next week. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Have a nice day. :

If a nest falls in a forest, does it make a sound?
billybob323 replied to Red_Reaper73's topic in Help and Advice
If you're still wondering, SportsGuy was right, it's a chirpy sound. It's noticeably louder than the chopping sound when you woodcut, and you can hear it with only sound effects turned on; it's not an environmental sound. I know this because I was woodcutting last night while watching some of the machinima contest entries, and I got two nests. I had my music and environmental sounds turned off and sound effects turned up just barely enough to hear when I stopped chopping. And still, it was easy for me to hear the nests falling out. -
The search function came up with this: Guide How's that?
-
Sorry, I don't mean to hijack but I guess it's relevant: SC hammers still give bonus xp when you make flatpacks at a workbench, correct? Good luck with your goal. And SC is my personal favorite minigame, so in my opinion it's better to play it and get the hammers than spend the extra time training the normal way. After all, RS is a game and you should be having fun.

How does the string jewelery spell work?
billybob323 replied to ultimatballr's topic in Help and Advice
Just for confirmation: The guy who buys gold jewelry is a rogue. You can free him from the Rogue's castle after the Summer's End quest and find him southwest of Varrock east bank. (Here is his shop page if interested.) Yes, he buys for minimum GE price, and yes, minimum is the same as market for gold amulets at the moment. So you're looking at a 395 gp loss for each cast if you buy amulets at max and astrals at market, then sell to the rogue. Good luck with your goal. -
It really depends on your method, stats, and equipment. There is a myriad of different methods you can choose from. If you're looking for a guide, you can find a good one here. From the Q&A section of that guide: That seems accurate to me.
-
Yes, the crystal saw and tea bonuses stack; I know people use this combo all the time. The crystal saw gives you a +3 bonus, but it's invisible. The tea gives +1, +2, or +3 depending on the type of shelves you have. Not sure about the stew.

Did you try using the "no" emote after he appeared?
-
Actually, that's a really good idea because I believe you need two people to open a door anyway.
-
He can't teleport there if the only reason he's going is to burst rock lobsters. ;) But yeah, the lyre teleport would be best I think.
-
His GE record is clean. GE record doesn't keep track of trades with players, does it? As in, trades not on the GE.
