Most people 1 item. So anything qould give you an advantage. Is blue d-hide much more expensive? I'd just go full blue. Like i said most melee'ers 1 item it so blue d-hide will be significantly better def than them. And it will help to protect against the ancient mages, etc.

My general rule for items is. If you have to sell off your bank just to get it, its probably not worth it. =P But i do agree. Its special is decent but not impressive. Its stats are good but not astonishing. Its twohanded which really blows (no dragons, or shield slot for added def bonuses). And it cost way to much still.

I'd say if your usually getting 4 chests per trip go ahead and stick with that. Veracs all be it another method to me is the lessor method.

I used to be a big hater of prayer. But once you get really into the members a game. Especially the higher level quests, and monster hunts prayer is essential. Level 70 would be great, then 60, and at least 52 for a start. Raise it.

Id wait till 80-85 minimum to start training with chins. You have many options. If you want cheap then bone bolts/crossbow is the way to go. If you have some cash then make things a little bit faster, iron-steel knives and maybe even a cannon in some multi-combat area's to really speed up combat training. Popular training spots for rangers. Black demons, Fire giants, blue dragons to name a few.

Charms are fine. Its not overly hard at all to get them. Considering In a little over 2 hrs. I can get to lvl 30 summoning with the charms i've collected. =P

Best bet is to start taking notes, day by day and watch the ge market yourself. Cause if its going to get suguested on the forums, chances are 10,000 other people are already doing it. You have to come up with your own methods. Cause if it shows up on forums all it takes is a few days for prices to flex so no money can be made. Its already happened with pure ess, fire runes, etc.

Why people would want them? A status symbol really. Shows wealth, and sometimes dedication. I like the look of them as well. I'd like to have one but its not my life goal or anything. They are priced really high for the given reasons. Owning one doesn't mean your any better than the guy next to you, but to some, many rather it does mean that.

Waterbirth Island, or the New chaos tunnels. I know theres spots to range (probably not recommended). I would use magic. They have a really high defense to melee. A lvl 120 friend and I (lvl 97) took probably a few minutes to kill one. Ridiculous defense to melee, and probably range too. Mage em. =P

Mage arena is very slow though only downside. But I do agree generally about summoning, and its affects on PVP. will be interested to see what the players come up with for summoning, and how Jagex will have to nerf it and adjust.
