I've spent hours at trips to sceptres, and have found the best profit to be wearing full prayer gear. Taking 1 dose of prayer potion and 1 dose of sup str/sup att or 1 dose of combat potion With full prayer gear, and 1 dose of prayer potion i can get a full invo of herbs (i don't pick up anything below harralander) I then home tele, recharge prayer points and tele back to slayer tower using ring. You can get there and back in less than 30 seconds.... Personally i do this because it is very cost effective and efficient, and my prayer potions just seem to dissapear with most of duradels tasks. I don't see the point in trying to camp for slayer when you can do it using other methods which are better overall (spending less on prayer potions, picking up more herbs for extra profit) The only down side is you lose about 5 minutes killing time per task... but you do spend less on equipment and get more money back. ------------ I find i can also get a full invo of good herbs with 4 monkfish and a bunyip. Your choice :)

I thought there was enough spam on the forums already :lol: But to be honest, the main reason why i got members a couple of years ago was to use the forums. The marketing benefits were really good and it was easy to make money. Tipit owns all now.... Having f2p on the RSOF is even more of a deterrant for me now as i know i'll just be stuck in the middle of thousands upon thousands of 9 year old kids asking for teh wildies back.

Personally i think holiday events are just lame, there is no point to them. I'd rather Jagex focused their efforts on something more worthwhile in the game as opposed to something that's going to vanish in a week or two.

thats what i allready know - but im sure some ppl are around here who tried it and id like to hear input from them I have tried it - my stats aren't as good as yours but i've tried chinning and melee but to no avail. Tried many times with a bunyip and a tortoise plus decent melee equipment and you spend most of the time eating to hit them. Chinning was even more of a diasaster, as the same problem occurs. I have never tried ancient magiks - a combination of bursting and blood spells might work... :-k Try it :thumbup:

This was not the case, the item had been at a steady price for a whole month beforehand. It never 'skyrocketed' in the first place.

It depends entirely on your levels. I can't believe people are giving advice without knowing the stats of the OP. SGS is best if you have melees over 90, and use melee void if you have 88 summoning. Otherwise, stick to karils as your main defence (I presume you have 70 defence and range?) with either and SS or a ZS. Carry on using the SGS for it's specs as it owns. Godswords get annoying when they don't hit, and are awfully slow - but as i say if you have good melee stats then it shouldn't be a problem

Doing maples relys on getting good seeds in nests - fish and flax are you best bet (I don't think coal is that bad either)

Best profit is Flax and raw fish (personally i dod 10 flax and 5 fish) If you check it every day to keep your approval rating at 100% then they take 75k out of the coffers. You don't have to do it one week at a time. Not sure how much money you make, but you should make a 1/3 of your money every day back i reckon (I've never really calculated profit) But yeah you will definatly profit and it is definately worthwhile!!

I bought 200 of these on the grand exchange in a lame merchanting attempt (black line represents when i bought them) I thought i was doing exactly the right thing, i'd studied the graph for the last month and not much change, then the price suddenly dropped dramatically. I thought the best thing to do would be to buy as many as i could before they started to rise again... but then they didn't rise as much as i thought and then they dropped even further. So the dilemma is - "what to do with 200 mystic mud staffs?" I bought them all at 40k, and if i sold them now i would get a 10k loss per staff. And i don't fancy losing 2mil when my entire bank value is less than than 35mil (just been skilling alot recently, spent 15mil to get 80 prayer) Should i wait for them to rise again? Or just cut my loses?

I've played alot on Facebook Poker :D Had a couple of good hands on there - none better than quads though Me and a few friends sometimes play a bit too, this one time i picked up a straight flush (still remember what it was hehe. 4 5 6 7 8 of hearts) when there was 5 of us playing. We don't play cash games though, at the beginning of the night everyone puts £5 in the pot, and then we play with toy poker chips. Then last one out takes home all the money. Obviously i won the hand, and knocked 2 of my friends out in the same hand (one of them had a pair of 6s :lol: , and the other one had an ace high flush) ...And the bad thing is, i still didn't win that night :XD:
