Summoning is actually free if you pick up the monster drops. If you kill the right monsters you will gain more money than you will spend on the charms. And to people saying the PvP update was the worst: You may want to try them out some time. If you are on a slayer assignment, use PvP worlds. It's an empty world almost all the time.

Combat potions can be useful when you would rather have food than a super set.

The only problem with the system we have now is that there are just not enough high leveled monsters to fight. If we had over 100 possible monsters on the task role, there would rarely be a problem of getting the same task after you canceled it. Personally I am getting bored of fighting the same 5 monsters over and over. Slayer was meant to be a break from camping at the same monster over and over, but what it has turned out to be is camping at the same 5 monsters every other hour.

I bet the Sailing Skill is a large trick, and they are just building it up for an April fools joke.

Because there are 6 year old kids who play this game. Anything to deal with that would encourage people to break the rules.

A very interesting one would be something like, national talk like a pirate day. It may be a large waste of time, but maybe they could code where everything you type in is translated into pirate-talk. There=Thar My=Me Etc. Also, to bring back a good feeling of how old RSC worked, on pirate day, eye patches would randomly appear on the ground every hour all around RuneScape.

For Jagex to combine all the spellbooks into one, so that magic is actually useful vs. the time it takes to switch between books. Seriously, what could possibly go wrong with that. If they are too worried about people complaining, they could disable this update on PvP worlds or add a 5 minute wait between the use of each book. Also, a way to make magic an actual combat oriented skill like they had first attempted to do in the start of rs2. Rather than people high alching because it is the cheapest of methods, maybe there could be a way to lower the prices of runes, or make magic that doesn't cost runes. What would happen to runecrafting? Well, Jagex could add a mini-game that gives you money and runes. Enough money that you can still gain 500k-1000k per hour and enough runes that the GE price for them doesn't crash. Done.

Wow...Jagex really needs to make certain things more accessible... You can't take your familiar nearly anywhere, and if you want to you have to dismiss it. There goes 10k just because I wanted to finish a clue scroll. You can't start a duel with a familiar. Why can't Jagex let you start it, and then have options to turn familiars off. And now, the amulet? What is wrong with that?

It doesn't cost 70m to play a game of CW as a mage does it? In order to use the higher leveled items for melee you have to fork in a big sum of money. It's the same for Mage and Range, they just use up their money in a larger time period. In the end, playing as melee, you will lose money with the GE prices of items gradually decreasing.

Well, Jagex doesn't do anything to advertise. The only amount of advertisement they do is by selling shirts and coffee mugs, and that is only on their site. If they were to pay millions to get Mr. T to say a few lines, I'm sure their advertisement records would go up. Though luckily, Jagex hasn't stooped to the level of Blizzard by over-milking well know actors for their popularity, and showing how Cosplay is the only good part of the game.
