Rather than wasting all your money in the first week of membership you could go the slightly cheaper route on things. Don't buy random crap that you will never use, because 100m+ is easy to spend. And if you do plan on training range, why not use chinchompas? You won't need arma if you plan on using less pray pots.

Awesome p2p rewards? Like how the Runecrafting Guild we shared gave awesome p2p rewards as well. It is a fact that anything f2p will be just as lame on p2p. :( Although I do hope it is f2p. Maybe it will reshape the way we see firemaking, thus leaving holes for more p2p updates.

It most definitely illegal in Jagex's eyes. They can't see that you are not gaining any amount of RL cash, so they have no reason to doubt a ban.

There is more than just 66m worth of rune essence selling right now. You would not rise the market price at all.

This game isn't worth it to be the laughing stock of the outside world. I don't see myself buying a shirt based on a game that nobody likes. I can't wait for Jagex to bring out a Runescape Scythe :ohnoes:. That would be amazing.

I won't flame you, but I will say this. Although the quest cape is an achievement, some skills capes can be just as much of an achievement. Even the skills that you can buy up such as herblore are more of an achievement than the quest cape. In order to get herblore up you need money, and in order to get money you have to know your way around the game, and perhaps ways around the G.E. Although, in my opinion a quest cape cannot be compared all that well with a skill cape because they are two completely different things.

You could go on bandos massacres for a week until you get a drop. If you are lucky it will only take a few days for your loot share points to go up enough. At around 120 combat I got my first hilt drop for myself. The BGS is not as good as you would think it is. Unless you plan on going with a small team to bosses, the BGS won't help you much.

Well...you just missed it. But if you would of bought enough Law Runes when they were dropping you could of gained a nice profit. F2P does not have many ways to gain fast money other than investing :(

This game is unique compared to other MMO's. You can hit 0's unlike the other games out there that copy each other.

Honestly, in all my years of playing this game the only place I have seen immaturity in is Castle Wars, F2P and "Wildy Riots". I don't know why, but no one ever bothers me, or calls me a "Noob". Sure there are the annoying people who pm me because they want to be my friend, but other than that no one is rude or arrogant. I think once you slap on bunny ears and a scythe you get much more respect in this game than most people would. Maybe these "kids" we speak of think I am a J-Mod when I wear holiday items : . IDK. Another possibility for the lack of immaturity in my eyes is that I don't give people a reason to talk back to me. If someone is in a spot training I will switch worlds. If someone says something to me, I keep my words simple and let them reply. Etc.

They are possible, though extremely rare. (You could cheat and buy the staff from the weapon shop, then drop it under where you killed a monster) :D

A scimmy for now would be your best bet. Or you could wait a while for the new p2p update and hope for a new f2p weapon.

If you want to kill yourself out of boredom, you can just string the bows. If you want to take the slightly longer route, browsing the forums and taking it easy, you can make the whole bow from the yew log.

They dropped scythe twice and they gave Scary emote as a reward for completing halloween event in 2006 and 2007. Scythes were never droped twice. They were just dropped for two days instead of one. The reason being, that when they were dropped the first time most players were not logged on in america.

I wouldn't mind them bringing back the events (And yes I have any and all untradable holiday items). Though only the events. That means there would be no gain of items from the event. Although this will never happen. :

I personally prefer calling them Peeon's. But you can use Noob as well.

They are fairly good crimson charm droppers. Other than that, the chain drop is way too rare.

You can always sell it back when you are done using it. You definitely won't lose money from it, as long as you are training slayer and up to date on your farming.

It is still possible to gain profit while training fletching if you plant herbs while doing so.

The time spent picking up those items outweighs the usefulness of the experience/gold gained. In the long-run I will have saved myself enough time not picking up the items to then do something else for money/xp. Looting the body of a monster after each kill takes almost half the time it did to kill it.

You're going to want to level agility some time in your runescape career. Why not now?
